This is the official UA-cam channel for the band Raven.
Such an underrated bassist.
One year before "kill em all" came out.....
Metallica supported Raven on their 'Kill em All For One' joint tour.
The sheer volume these guys pumped out cannot be conveyed by a TV programme.
I saw them twice on this tour and they were mind blowing, absolutely sensational.
I only wished I could have, one band I NEVER got to see
@@johnappleby2182 I saw 'em for the first time only a couple of years ago. Then again, I live in South America.
@@mauriciohernandezdiaz9825 I'm sure you had a smile from ear to ear and simply amazed by the spectacle that was RAVEN, before you.....Freakn AWESOME, brother....
Saw them for the first time last week. They played to a room of no more than fifty people but absolutely killed! Amazing band. I got to meet John and Mark after the show. Great lads.
@@johnappleby2182 They are still touring in 2023. Highly recommended.
I just got this on DVD called "For The Future."
Classic Head shaking Raven Rock.🤘🎸
Saw them 27 jan 1984..at the countdown café radioshow...so good!!!
I was there to, in Hilversum Holland, what a time we had!
The Gallagher bros, John and Mark respectively and Rob Wacko Hunter. The most ferocious Metal Power Trio Ever 🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘

Just saw them live yesterday! The best band I have seen live! The intensity, the energy and the passion for metal was tip top! They even played their songs twice as fast sometimes as they were on the album, which goes to say a lot that age is not an impediment to great musicianship, but it's about practice and passion! 🤘🔥
I would say 10/10 for their performance in Birmingham last week.
John 's got the same voice since....the beginning ! And that bass tone ! Mark is an underrated axe man, those riffs & solos, arrgghhh ! What a fantastic band !! The last four albums are awesome (and the first 4 albums of the 80's) !!!!
Back when a concert was a concert. Great days
Yes! Seeing them next Thursday 9/22/22 playing the entire wiped out album in Jacksonville Florida!!! Ohh fuck yeah! Go see this tour!!!
Bash into some people!🤘🏻💣🧨💥🤘🏻
Just saw them last night in Cambridge Ma, friggin awesome! 🤘
They where in holland too, have seen them in 3 venues! FANTASTIC!
I first saw them at a little club in Providence, RI on the “Stay Hard” tour & they blew me away. Ripped from start to finish! I was still in high school & didn’t even drive yet. Many many concerts later it’s still right up there, & a signed LP is on the wall of my man cave. Hope they come back to New England soon, & look forward to the new record!
Cheers mate... Looking like April!!
I saw then opening for judas p , 1986 That album from 86 was something dissapointing stay hard , but off course all the previous albums were gems 💎

Athletic Rock!
I saw 'em the year before in Milan, Italy.
Nice!
I would love to see footage from the Live At The Inferno tour! I saw you guys at the Aragon Ball Room in Chicago at that time. I still have Wacko's drum stick!
♥
Great band and blokes
Bought their album in about 81/82 Rock until you drop it twas good but didn't think at time it was ground breaking but knew it was different and it was unusually heavy" I could see they had something .Wish I still had it would have been First issue was it " Stiff records" yes
Neat records mate
Isn't that Burke Shelley down the front?
Singer sounds like a more metal mick jagger but I like this guy more
Is that first bass he plays a Travis Bean or a Kramer? Anyone know what equipment is being used here?
It’s a Kramer XL-8 8 string bass!
Wacko Hunter on DRUMS !! 😜🤘
Can't beat that amazing Analog quality 👍
Yes it is! Enjoy the analog in this digital world we're living in! Haha!
@@Ravenbandofficial Thx John. I'm sure it's you 😎
@@massapower it's actually Kragen from Exodus/Heathen. I work with the band. :)
@@Ravenbandofficial Great stuff Mate ! 🤘
Frank M 🤘🏻
GREAT! A lot of bottom snare mic.
You bet your bottom...snare mic it does!
The other Unholy Trinity from Newcastle.
What kind of guitar amp is he using?
They look like really thin heads, so I'm guessing solid state? Maybe Carlsbro Stingrays (surely not?!).
Yep... Carlsbro amps!!!!
Killer guitar tone... especially for 1982. Love those scooped mids 🎸
@@Ravenbandofficialwere they boosted with anything? Heavy sound for a Tele!
That’s a Carlsbro Stingray.. UK solid state amps!
Lol, this is as good as spinel tap... I read that they said they could be touched on stage.... lol
First off your grammar is atrocious... secondly “ as good as spinal tap” ? Why? Thirdly they actually said “ none can touch us onstage”
And finally yer mom sez “ hello”
Wanker.
So bad lol
And yet… here you are. Time to come out of the basement.. Moms made your dinner….
Great band great audience the perfect metal marriage nothing else
Nossa o Wacko,até parece o Keith Moon na Drums, o cara era foda mesmo! Power Metal nota 10.
