John 's got the same voice since....the beginning ! And that bass tone ! Mark is an underrated axe man, those riffs & solos, arrgghhh ! What a fantastic band !! The last four albums are awesome (and the first 4 albums of the 80's) !!!!
Rob is, in my opinion, Heavy Metal's Stewart Copeland. There, I've said it. Sue me. Raven fan since I was 7. 1985. Live At The Inferno. Love from France!!!
I met Mark and John after the gig in Melbourne Australia last night mixing with their fans and they are tWO of the most humble nicest blokes you'd ever want to meet. The show's intensity has not diminished an iota and John's voice miraculously sounds exactly the same as back here. Blown away!
Just saw them live yesterday! The best band I have seen live! The intensity, the energy and the passion for metal was tip top! They even played their songs twice as fast sometimes as they were on the album, which goes to say a lot that age is not an impediment to great musicianship, but it's about practice and passion! 🤘🔥
The sheer volume these guys pumped out cannot be conveyed by a TV programme. I saw them twice on this tour and they were mind blowing, absolutely sensational.
@@mauriciohernandezdiaz9825 I'm sure you had a smile from ear to ear and simply amazed by the spectacle that was RAVEN, before you.....Freakn AWESOME, brother....
Saw them for the first time last week. They played to a room of no more than fifty people but absolutely killed! Amazing band. I got to meet John and Mark after the show. Great lads.
Yes! Seeing them next Thursday 9/22/22 playing the entire wiped out album in Jacksonville Florida!!! Ohh fuck yeah! Go see this tour!!! Bash into some people!🤘🏻💣🧨💥🤘🏻
G-Damn....11:45....they will go into another awesome Bass accompanied SOLO....FREAKN AMAZING IF YOU JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES AND LISTEN TO HOW WELL AND TIGHT AND COMPLEX, THESE ARRANGEMENTS ARE, FREAKING INCREDIBLE TALENT, THE 3 OF YOU ....
I would love to see footage from the Live At The Inferno tour! I saw you guys at the Aragon Ball Room in Chicago at that time. I still have Wacko's drum stick!
Saw them at the Keystone Berkeley and Metallica opened. They were one of the godfathers of the NWOBHM w/Saxon Maiden, Def Leppard, Motörhead. Love these dudes!
Bought their album in about 81/82 Rock until you drop it twas good but didn't think at time it was ground breaking but knew it was different and it was unusually heavy" I could see they had something .Wish I still had it would have been First issue was it " Stiff records" yes
First off your grammar is atrocious... secondly “ as good as spinal tap” ? Why? Thirdly they actually said “ none can touch us onstage” And finally yer mom sez “ hello” Wanker.
Not seeing the appeal of these guys….. just hearing some spinal tap style stuff and saw a guy play a horrible solo on a telecaster. It’s like spinal tap but they are serious and don’t realize it’s like a bad parody
🤩ROCK UNTIL YOU DROP!! 🎸
Such an underrated bassist.
ビリーシーンがジョンはいい仕事していると評価してたど!
Classic Head shaking Raven Rock.🤘🎸

One year before "kill em all" came out.....
Metallica supported Raven on their 'Kill em All For One' joint tour.

I would say 10/10 for their performance in Birmingham last week.
Oh this brings back so many great memories for me…the 80’s really did produce some class metal 🤘
Saw them 27 jan 1984..at the countdown café radioshow...so good!!!
I was there to, in Hilversum Holland, what a time we had!
Still a fantastic band to this day. One of my top ten Metal bands.

I only wished I could have, one band I NEVER got to see
@@johnappleby2182 I saw 'em for the first time only a couple of years ago. Then again, I live in South America.

@@Ravenbandofficial Great stuff Mate ! 🤘
Frank M 🤘🏻
Is that first bass he plays a Travis Bean or a Kramer? Anyone know what equipment is being used here?
It’s a Kramer XL-8 8 string bass!
Singer sounds like a more metal mick jagger but I like this guy more
♥
GREAT! A lot of bottom snare mic.
You bet your bottom...snare mic it does!
The other Unholy Trinity from Newcastle.
What kind of guitar amp is he using?
They look like really thin heads, so I'm guessing solid state? Maybe Carlsbro Stingrays (surely not?!).
Yep... Carlsbro amps!!!!
Killer guitar tone... especially for 1982. Love those scooped mids 🎸
@@Ravenbandofficialwere they boosted with anything? Heavy sound for a Tele!
That’s a Carlsbro Stingray.. UK solid state amps!
