I eat ramen at my current internship, and have lately been using different sauces and condiments to add flavor and variety. Last week: creamy buffalo ranch This week: spicy honey BBQ Next week: maybe garlic parmesan sauce?
I like the first one a lot... fast and easy.... one of my favorites is boiling chicken parts (legs, wings, feet etc) and then adding the noodles and sauce packet into the broth ... easy and really good...
I love ramen. I think it's a fun way to experiment with flavors in a lower effort way. I usually get a basic soy sauce (veg-friendly) ramen, then add garlic, onion (dehydrated or green. I love red onion but I feel the flavor doesn't work well with ramen), garlic chili sauce (I like it to look red afterwards, I like heat), ginger, shiitake mushroom powder (if you are vegetarian, get this, it's awesome), curry powder, sesame oil, lime juice, and whatever veggie I have lying around (zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms, any leftover stir-fried veggies, and any greens work best in my opinion) to make it more of a meal. It's soooo good. I'm curious about adding cheese, but I'm a weirdo. I'm a bit lactose intolerant so I actually don't usually prefer creamy, rich soups (aside from Thai green curry, but they uses coconut milk) and like lighter meals. But I'm sure cheese would be good. Sometimes I drain the noodles so it's not a soup (saving the broth for a quick, easy soup later) and add peanut butter + peanuts. It gives it a Thai feeling, particularly with lime and extra spice. Ramen is so much fun.
I agree! The possibilities are endless!!! I like using a shallow pan to cook instant noodles so that the soup evaporates by the time the noodles are cooked to a perfect al dente. Maybe try a vegan cheese if you're a bit lactose intolerant? It may achieve the same level of consistency as regular cheese.
I make ramen similar to the first way with an egg and cheese. The different thing I do is I use milk instead of water. It's especially nice when cooked with milk if you have really spicy ramen.
Dude I have all these ingredients on hand right now! Gonna try these out over the next week or so. I can't believe I haven't thought to try anything like these before. Thanks for the inspiration :)
My ramen ritual: break up the noodles in the package before opening. Pour crushed noodles and flavor packets into pot. Cover with bone broth. Boil for four minutes. Crack two eggs into soup. Swirl the pot to sink the eggs. Simmer for four minutes. Put big handful of frozen chopped spinach in the bottom of a bowl. Pour ramen and eggs over spinach. Top with sesame seeds, crushed peanuts and a drizzle of sriracha. Aaaahhhhh, yummy. My favorite.
Every once in awhile is fine, unless you have a condition where you need to cut down salt. There are also things you can do- sometimes I drain the broth to save for later and kind of have the noodles "dry." You can use half the seasoning packet and add citrus to it, it really wakes up the flavor. You can also eat less sodium in your other meals that day to kind of even it out (that's usually what I do). Definitely drink plenty of water before and after eating ramen.
Overall, looks really great... but I'm not a fan of runny eggs (I get that it's supposed to add a silkiness to it, but still not for me), so I might pass on that part. Might add scrambled, though.
What bliss that there is no (loud) music. I wish other videos would either get rid of music or have it VERY very low.
Thanks for letting us know! 😊

Yum! That's a good combo too!
I do 2 hard boiled eggs and peanut butter

Glad we gave you some ideas!! :)
I do 2 hard boiled eggs and add peanut butter for some extra protein
Best I've found so far is just some ham (just lunchmeat, cut into small pcs), green onions, peanuts and a bit of siracha sprinkled over.
Those are good add-ons! We never tried it with sriracha. Will definitely give it a try next time!

You are so underrated!!
Thank you! 😊
So good 😊👍
Thank you!! :)
I googled that gochujang and I would not touch it with a 10 foot pole!
😂
look so yummy
Thank you! 😊
Did you guys use the amount of water it says to use on the ramen packet?
We usually just eyeball it but 250-300ml is a good amount
Well done video 👍
Thanks! :)
Is there a link for the recipes?
It's not really recepies. Just minor things you can do to make pre-made ramen taste better.
Basicamente coloque ovos e cebolinhas em tudo, adoro
I am from georgia, USA.
What is the meat?
We used sliced lamb, but you can put any meat (e.g., sliced beef, pork, etc.)
Looks like bacon
They forgot ketchup, mustard, and pickles
😂 and hotdogs? 😜
👍
What kind of Ramen is this
It's the Nongshim Shin Ramyun
Guess why I eat instant ramen
The only thing wrong about instant ramen is to eat it at all.
Pikaaa lo rojo🥵🥵🥵
Too bad they can’t make Ramen with less sodium, it is so bad for you with so much salt.
Yeah, agreed! So bad, yet so good. It's more of a treat/cheat meal and we try putting less seasoning to reduce the salt.
I put in half the spices

That 2nd one looks gross.
Yeah, we kind of felt the same when we first heard about it but it definitely tastes better than it looks 😆

Great idea! You can always try adding hard-boiled or soft-boiled eggs with the yolk consistency made to your liking.
I do hard boiled as well
this is not-instant noodle
