If it helps, my trick for the Greek peninsula is that it looks like a 4 toed dogs paw. Also, the Black Sea is a Kidney Bean, Crimea is shaped like a kite with the tail pointing to the Caspian, the Sea of Azov is the same rotated the other way around. On the other side of the continent, North France is a staircase of 3 steps (Calais, Normandy, Brittany) and the coast of France from Bordeaux to Nantes (Halfway between Spain and channel to the tip of Brittany) is kind of an arc of a circle focused on the corner of Spain. In the same vein, the France/Spain corner (Bay of Biscay) and the Spain corner (Galicia) are both basically right angles.
Just the way I remember the shapes, might help somebody.

There's probably less countries in Europe than U.S. states, so it is probably much easier to remember.

One trick we use in Spain to draw the peninsula is thinking that, the peninsula is like a queen and Portugal is the face. Maybe it sounds stupid but ironically is really helpful.

I find really interesting than people will usually start by drawing their own country or the neighboring one at best. In my case I'm from Spain and it would be really hard to start by drawing the Scandinavian countries or Italy

I think it may be possible to determine with some accuracy where a map drawer comes from. As a Dutchie, I would be a lot more accurate with the coastline of the Netherlands, Belgium and France, but nowhere near as specific as this with the Scandinavian countries and especially Denmark. Purey based on the drawing, I would venture the guess you are Danish.
I think it is a very entertaining video and the result is probably a lot better than what I would have come up with ^_^
