After watching this show, I was left with so many emotions I didn't know what to do. These two especially gave me so many feels and they're my favorites. Their stories were so sad but so interesting. Everyone is so complex and flawed in their owns ways, which is one thing I loved about it.
This video was fun and frustrating to make lol
But it never would have been made if it wasn't for my friend who encouraged me to do so (:

Kid Luke is the most adorable character in whole season. Also the way he talks
It's hard to think this is fiction, it just feels so real.
I think that's because if you remove the ghosts, it pretty much is real. The grief and loss that these people go through is very relatable to many. Add on to the fact that each kid represents one of the 5 stages of grief, and pretty everyone can relate to what these characters are feeling and their struggles in one way or another.
They're also all so complicated, well rounded and fully flushed out characters. They have their flaws like everyone else does.
Not to mention, twins are known to typically have a special connection. And there are people out there who are able to sense things.

Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Victoria Pedretti were so great in The Haunting of Bly Manor, they definitely felt like much different characters there compared to Hill House. Props to their great acting.
So true I didn't even recognize Oliver at first, they were thaaaat good.
So sad they had to be “enemies” like Luke or Luke’s actor was Peter in bly manor and he was kinda evil but not really . Just an asshole but he had trauma so . BUT YES WE LOVE DANI CLAYTON

I love them so much. They went though so much. Their family treated them like shit and never believed them,they only had each other. Their hearts were so pure and it was so sad to see their innocence slowly fade away at Hill House.

They did deserve better ;w; At least they had each other for the most part. Up until they were adults, they had someone to lean on when everyone else thought they were crazy. But it was definitely sad to see where they ended up.
I think that seeing them as kids and then as adults really made it more impactful for everyone
And I know ;w; that's one of the saddest things I've ever seen, when Luke can feel her death and he doesn't know it

Do you lot think that Nell and Like were the most...overtly psychologically scarred because they were experiencing each others trauma and pain as well as their own? That neither of them really understood because they were the youngest? And that made it even more difficult for them to communicate outside of their twin bubble?
Like when Luke got high, do you think Nell felt it? Is that why she seemed sort of listless sometimes?
And when Nell lost Arthur, do you think Luke used more during that time period?
Idk this video just reminded me of their trauma, it's all like...intertwined and complicated like tangled telephone wires.
This is all but confirmed when Nel talks about her experiences the first few days Luke is in rehab! Xx
You make some good points.
That definitely makes a lot of sense, especially when Nell describes the intense malaise she felt for the first few days Luke was in rehab and then suddenly she felt better, or when Luke woke up in the middle of the night and felt pain in his neck when Nell hung herself and when he saw William Hill again after she died before Steve told him she was dead.

@@tiasssksskxss Yeah, he must’ve also been in a lot of pain when she went into rigor. 🙁 What really got me was Steve’s face when Luke described it, only Steve knew she was dead and he finally believed Luke.

Just finished watching this with my girlfriend, loved every episode. The story was so well written, Nell being the Bent Neck Lady was such a plot twist too. I felt so sorry for her the entire season. I love that scene where Nelly goes missing and she's saying she was shouting for everyone but they couldn't see her then it goes to her as a ghost and no one can see her

@@tinkerz788 yes like they did for Bly Manor. Usually in horror movies when a house is haunted is because of violent deaths happened there and similar things, but I think we needed a better explanation to all of it.

Thank you!! It really is, isn't it? I've seen twin empathy before for things, but I don't think I've ever seen it where the other can literally feel the other dying in such a physical way? Which is just so heartbreaking and shows just how great of a bond they had.

I'd watched hill house quite a while a ago, came here after I just finished Bly manor n thought nothing could hurt me more than Dani's end.. But now I think.. I was wrong. Nell's ending hurts even more now..
For once they thire is twins but girl and boy, not just same gender beccause im a twin to a boy and i can connect more with these episodes and program. Love the edit it shows the bond they have ❤

I remember when I was in the 7th grade and my brother got shot five miles away from my school. An I felt it every bullet and no one believed me in a circle of friends watching me get hit spiritually by bullets for my brother. We are not twins but I always know what he feels and hurts. My mother said she was supposed to have twins but lost them both. Then had five children and raised them her self. This whole series hits me so hard because the truth is on many levels my siblings and I have lived this truly.

You know for two fictional characters they really are the true meaning of a real sibbling bond
They are really special to me.. im only child... And, I was supposed to have a twin brother but he was born dead... He never had the change to live I never saw him, I don't have memories of him or us. I never hugged him or I don't know what happened to his little body. My mother never saw him because
she was afraid of the nightmares and now with my 18 birthday on the way, it feels weird and so lonely. I wish he was here, when I was younger, a kid, I was believing that he was alive just not here. I was supposed to be his big sister and it's just...yeah they are special to me.

I thought the series was just going to be creepy and shit but it actually made me really emotional andrealizee just how important family is. I didn't expect to cry so damn much. the twins were the best art of the show. theydeservedd so much better than the way they were treated.
