Exactly! The vibe of the show was seated in my mind for so many days even after finishing it. Rather than the horror it's atmosphere affected me the most.
That's what made this one of the best horror series ever. The horror was in how messed up their lives had become because of incidents from years ago. And that aspect exists in reality.
this and haunting of bly manor are two of the most stunning pieces of horror/drama that i have ever seen. its a must watch!

They are really such a vibe.

Haunting of Hill House's actual horror lies in the grief depicted in the series. This series is such a beautiful masterpiece that quite often it makes you think about it.
The show is certainly scary, but it became this entity mainly because of the emotional core behind it.

this show is a damn MASTERPIECE. you literally go through so many emotions through all the episodes and it makes you scared, it makes you happy and makes you sad. it gives you a rollercoaster of emotions. i have recommended this show to so many of my friends, and I would also recommend watching other shows by the creator which are haunting of the bly manor and midnight mass.

Haunting at Hill House is a fucking masterpiece by Mike Flanagan. It can make you jump from your seats, make you smile, cry, flow out your emotions. The perfect all rounder in the genre. One of the best.

I recently finished watching the show and I'm just in love with it! Its one of a kind horror show.. It doesnt depend on jumpscares or overly dramatic music, the horror is purely built in the story and the atmosphere.. beautifully made show!

I've seen it back 2019 when it just got released, watched it overnight until morning. I couldn't leave it until I was very sleepy so I had to watch the last 3 episodes later. I love horror shows and movies, seen many and many horror movies but this one is a masterpiece as rightly said it has a gripping story too. I recommend it to many of my friends. Loved it

Best horror content I have ever seen. It feels as if you're standing right in the center witnessing this. Despite watching the whole show and aware about the jump scares, I was still watching this revisit with my eyes half closed!

I read the book back in high school and there is this old movie too. Believe me, I am not a reader but this one is love. Saw the series in 2020, it's not the same as the book though but it's just outstanding. Everything is great about it. Will remain a favorite forever.

There's a new show too on Netflix called "Cabinet of Curiosities" produced none other than Guillermo del Toro. Individual episodes with individual directors working in horror. Some of the great directors involved are David Prior (The emptyman fame) and Jennifer Kent (The babadook, The nightingale fame)
One of the best horror shows out there. The plot, the emotions, the jump scares.
It’s an emotional story about a family, horror element is just in background. But they nailed the both narratives!

Haunting of hill House and haunting of bly manor ..both are really good and hits on another level of horror genre.. to be honest it was psychologically terrifying as well as horror.. couldn't not sleep without the lights on for some days after watching both of these..

I have watched this series and it's really great some people may find it slow but it has a very good build up and the secrets about the Hill House are Nuts and I have also watched 2nd season where it follows different story but it is also good. I personally loved this series.
