- 🦋 Hi guys! Over the past few months I have been making over my home one room at a time. In today’s video, I’m going to be making over my rental KITCHEN and boy was it a good one!! I had a lot of failures and the progress took longer than expected but it turned out WAY BETTER than I had anticipated. I also will be showing you RENTER FRIENDLY updates that you can make in your rental kitchen to give your own special touch to your space without making major updates. TFS. I love that you actually gave such pretty credit to other folks who inspired you. I see some pretty famous others who say vaguely “Etsy, Pinterest...” etc which like you its not the sites that are the actual artists!
I agree! I think it’s so easy to over look that one detail but it’s so important to give credit where credit is due!
Not water, Windex is what works. it allows it to be moved, but evaporates and leaves a smooth finish! And when you held up the wallpaper and poopooed it I was shocked - it was PERFECT!!! Glad you saw that too ---- and the black knobs -- They were the VERY BEST choice!!! Keep up the great work!!

I have been binge watching videos about decor, DIY, makeovers, for months and thanks to you I do now know what this little gadget (similar to a mouse) is for😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹, Thank you so much. I must explain that in Spain houses are made of bricks, so we don’t have anything like that. Sorry If I made any mistakes, as English is not my mother tongue.

Very small holes drilled into the salt and pepper lids. If you drill from the inside of the cap, fiat against a scrap board, you shouldn’t have too much trouble. A bit of painters tape will help to not crack the lids. Sand them smooth and voila 😁

I don’t understand the color you painted the pendant lights? Maybe a more neutral colored rug?
I could see that there are a lot of colors in the space but I really like how they play off each other. Are you saying that there is too much color or it doesn’t match?
I think personal tastes vary but honestly I try to see others style sense as varied colors in a color box. While something may not be my taste I have learned to appreciate the differences. I am a lot older and perhaps that is why.

Covering a good marble countertop with paper??? Futile and ugly. Let alone- Will get soggy and start peeling in no time. No wonder no one else thought of this before. Millennials.
I'm a millennial but I would guess she is Gen Z. The granite countertop is great quality but was highly popular/overused in the 2000-2010 era and so can read as very dated. Much like the marble/subway tile trend will probably be in a few years. The contact paper is a temporary fix for a rental to make it more her style. She can remove it if she gets tired of it or it starts to wear down. What's the harm?
