I actually got teary-eyed when I saw a real underdog team come and finish one-two. They're fighting to entertain the fans every week and to see this just makes me real happy. Now they're secure for a while with the prizes of finishing one-two.
I remember I missed this race because I was fishing, and I got home and just got my NASCAR Illustrated and went to read about this race to see what I missed and didn't believe it, I thought I was accidentally reading an Xfinity series race but I saw that and I was shocked. Remember this like it was yesterday, as a a longtime Ragan fan who didnt even get to see him win in 2011 because I fell asleep, seeing this made everything I ever hoped for so worth it, I never thought I was gonna see Ragan win a race, I was jumping up and down in my dads apartment screaming going in my room where he was sleeping and telling him how David Ragan just won. Ill never forget the excitement I had seeing Ragan win, this is also the best call by Mike Joy and Darrell Waltrip they did an incredible job and this race is something I will NEVER forget.

I was as pumped as D.W. I was also clapping my hands and saying "Come on David!" I love the under dogs. Ever since Rusty retired and Mark Martin runs limited schedule only one's I have to cheer for is the under dogs.
I had to watch this again after Gilliland won the pole. It's awesome to see underdog teams like Front Row Motorsports win a race. I also hope they keep these two in these cars for a while because they deserve to be there. wonder who will win july 5th.
What makes this even better is I picked him and Gilliland and and three other cars and finished with 175 points and won the fantasy league race that day. Great day for all.
Hahaha, this was one of the greatest things I've seen in motorsports in a long time. I was like "Is Front Row Motorsports about to win the race!?!?" I couldn't believe it, I don't know if them or the Lavine Family Racing team was at the bottom of my likely to win list. Great to see for those guys, a reel feel good story!

Funny how when it's dark and they (supposedly) can't see yet they don't wreck. Then, in broad daylight, they wreck in the next Talladega race. "Can't see" my foot.
I'm betting that there will be a David in Victory Lane in the Chase race at 'Dega. Ragan, Gilliland, Blaney, Stremme... maybe Pearson even, if this craziness keeps up.

Given how far back in the field Ragan was on the final restart, that's an impressive win. DW is right about him, too... I met him in Phoenix in '08 and he's nice as they come. A class act.

This green-white-checker was the only part of the race I got to see cuz I had just gotten home, but I looked at my grandmother and I said "IS THAT THE 34 CAR?! HOLY CRAP!!" This was one of the greatest feel-good moments in NASCAR history, right up there with Trevor Bayne's Daytona 500 win.
I feel as excited watching this now as I did when I watched it live almost four years ago now. We were at my grandparents' house watching it and even my grandpa got excited watching these two underfunded guys race their way past Kenseth, Edwards, and Johnson to get first and second.
