No, you can't do this, Rod. You need to use the solar panels to provide charge for a battery, then the battery can provide the power to run a fridge. You need a battery in the system. ~ Ben

Hey snowy
Our fridge is showing e1 while plugged into our 12v. we tested the 12v plug, and it is fine with voltage. Are there any other ideas? 240v works fine

Is there suitable height to stand up a can on the small shelf?

I think most 375ml cans are about 12cm in height, Dave, and the shelf has about 19cm of clearance, so you should be fine. ~ Ben
