Thank you for answering the one question I was looking for: you CAN switch off a compartment completely if you don't need it and just need a small cooler for a bit.

hey mate i do have the 75l kickass fridge and love it ,but wasnt aware you could turn one side off how do you do this with only one power button cheers PS great content
Thanks heaps, basically you press the settings button and then one of the arrow buttons and hold until you get a line where the temp would usually show up, so for example if u wanted the smaller one off, you hold the settings and the left arrow (not sure If it's up or down) until you hear a beep and that should do it
are you happy with the fridge i am really liking Kickass stuff i have a 95 litre dometic fridge freezer thinking of going a bit smaller to a Kickass 75l
For the price it's been awesome, taking it Fraser, had it for about 3 years now on and off and it hasn't missed a beat 😃

The dometic cfx3 fridges are the best I have ever had. I only buy kickass products but fridge wise I have always owned dometic and found them faultless but if I did not have them I would have already bought a kickass.
Yeah I can't speak for the dometics but these are pretty darn good for the money!
A couple of quick questions, brother:
(1) Roughly how long will the battery run in average conditions if you can't plug in?
(2) How long does it hold temp if there's no battery or plug-in power?

I've had anywhere from 2 days to 4 on a 100ah lead acid, it all depends on ambient temp how often your opening it etc etc
Honestly probably only a couple hours before it would start to climb again but again all depends on ambient temp
