The removable divider with storage space for it in the lid is a brilliant idea.
You're right! They've obviously put abit of thought into this one.

Man I think this fridge has really made a large fridge with sensible dimensions
Great review 👍
Cheers @North Island Guy!

Great review Ben ! The guys that designed this fridge have clearly spoken to many campers and fridge/freezer users to put in the features that make it such a flexible unit.
Thanks for your feedback Denton, will pass it on to Ben!
~ Lauren
fantastic, definitely going to get one. 👍
It's an awesome fridge. ~ Ben
EVACOOL have come so far, great to see them progressing. Only issue I have is the BT, tell me someone can't just connect to my fridge and turn it off or change temps.... Someone, somewhere will be drunk and try to connect to someone elses fridge close to them when camping...
as with my old Waeco, I would ditch those wire racks and probably only use the one with the swinging shelf. They just take up valuable real estate.
Haha, I guess there's a risk of that, it would be very un-Australian of them though. ~ Ben
Saving my pennies for one.
Blue lid for me.
Ideal size.
Going for the blue lid! Bold choice....it will look great.

Purchasing the Evakool down under 50L for the SUV shortly, I just want to do my bit on keeping manufacturing and related jobs here in Australia!
Imagine if more people did so 🤔
Hope you love it!

Had a look at these in store the other day and wish they had come onto the market prior to us purchasing the power hungry national luna that fails to cool or maintain temperature and has spent more time in being serviced then in our possession.
Great design features on the downunder II 65l series fridges.
- Removable lid
- Temperature taken from within the bins
- Secop 2.0
- flexible zones & storage.
I do wish though they used a metal lid.
Had no idea National luna moved away from using secop compressors and we are stuck with our small 50 L dual zone averaging 58ah - 68ah in 24 hours with the worst being 85ah in 24 hours.
Fortunately we have 310ah of battery to play with.
That sucks @Luke Watkin, I have historically heard amazing things about National Luna.
Possibly dropping the ball abit on how they 'used' to be.

@@SnowysOutdoors looks to be the case. Mine arrived broken out of the box, spent 4 weeks in being serviced and was given back still not correct. Has now been another 3 weeks being serviced again still in being fixed. Only had it for 14 weeks.
Not a good start 50% of ownership a brand new fridge has spent it’s time being fixed.
We are very near changing to the evakool downunder II.
I love mine, Iv paired it up with a Bluetti AC 200max portable battery before Evakool came out with there own battery. Do recommend support 🇦🇺
I only found out on the back of your comment that Evakool now do batteries, 1dromadez 2020, thanks for the heads up. ~ Ben
Are you guys looking at doing a video on the 50l version?
Not in the immediate future sorry, but hopefully we'll get to it one day soon. ~ Ben
Would you say the lid is strong enough to sit on?
It should be @Johnsongraphy, I don't have any issues.
~ Lauren
Great review Ben, thank you. Do you know if the total capacity of 65L is achieved with the divider in or out? Looks like you gain a lot of extra space when removed.
Good question, Dale, I imagine the volume would be with the divider removed but I'm not certain of my answer here. ~ Ben
Cheers Ben
It is a shit fridge do not buy it
Thanks for your feedback
~ Lauren
