Nechtan makes this looks far too easy - a perfect drummer for Keep of Kalessin. Some very tasty drum fills in there (really enjoyed the ones that have a ride as an accent in the fill) and impeccable foot work as usual. I really enjoyed those single foot blasts, very nice! Again the entire playthrough was executed with great precision, great feel and amazing control. I cannot think of any way to improve on this - it's a true level of drum mastery.

Listen to El Estepario Siberiano... HE is the living GOD of Drums - very few come even close to what he does. WANJA and a lot of the best metal drummers in the world can be described as good, the rest of us is average at best...

1:21 nice twist with the blasts there, love it.
I gotta ask though: in From the Stars and Beyond about 1:46 ish, are you actully doing single foot blast and left foot high hat mutes or do you have another secret? Honestly really wanna see that playtrough though. Otherwise, great work my man, and keep on blasting :D

Except on the title track Katharsis I used only single foot blasts on the whole album - exactly for having the ability to do these kind of hihat accents! I think I also did some similar hihat accents in Omni.
@@wanjanechtangroeger A bit more subtle in Omni as it doesn't loop like in Stars and Beyond, but yes. Just such a nice touch. Figured you had the speed for singles, didn't expect you'd do it on most of the album though, mad props!
