Sage advice Steve. I also purchased my 10-24 secondhand when the weather resistant version was announced and couldn’t be happier. As long as you buy from a reputable source buying second hand makes a great deal of sense almost all of the time. Thanks for another great video.
You’re right, it does. Most of my kit is second hand, apart from the camera itself, the 18-135 and the 100-400. I’ve been blown away by the quality of some of the gear you can get for a vastly reduced price.
Hi Steve be aware that there are quite a few 'bad copies' of this lens out there. I had owned one a few years ago but ended up selling it because the Samyang 12mm f2 lens was far sharper especially in the corners. Obviously I could only shoot at 12mm but I also own the 16-55 so I was only missing 13-15mm focal lengths. One of my mates also bought a bad copy so returned it to MPB and received a replacement that was fantastic in the corners. I have since purchased a new one (Mk1) and it's fantastic with no or very little softness in the corners. Just something to bear in mind
Well, I’ve done some tests and I’m very happy with the lens as it appears to be sharp all the way through the focal range. But, you’re right. It’s good to know what to look out for :)

Good Morning from New Zealand, Great 2nd hand Fuji lense Video, have a great weekend
Thank you ever so much :)
Looking forward to a future review of the 70-300 👍
It’s on its way but you can’t get hold of them at the moment 🤣
@@SteveMellorPhotography must be popular then! I looked at testing one under the Fuji 48 hour loan, but not available.
Yes, that’s part of the problem. I’ve noticed this with lots of new lenses, especially for focl lengths the community have been wanting for one time.
Enjoy your new lens, it's a fantastic wide angle
It really is. I’m ever so pleased with it :)
