    I'm Italian and EVERYTHING he said here is TRUE!!! Laughing so hard I can't breathe!! This guy is priceless - reminds me of Don Rickles in a way. I'll bet you everything I have that he is the nicest, sweetest man when he's not doing these videos. God Bless him for bringing joy to so many especially during these uncertain times.

    OMG! I'm French, not Italian but my grandparents had that clear, plastic runner in the hallway, too! My cousins and I used to flip it over and see who could run over the needles!! HAHAHAH!! Love your rants, Vic!

    Holy shit!! This is so fucking true and histerical! I grew up in an Italian family and live in Brooklyn and my home and others on my block were exactly like this. You really can't appreciate this unless you lived through it :)

      holy shit i never thought about the basement till i saw this I'm italian i grew up with no basement but my uncles house well its just like he said we all hung out ate and so on in their basement and i live in detroit everything he says is spot on hilarious almost scary

    My grandparents on both sides are either from Brooklyn or somewhere in Italy. But they're all 100% Italian as far back as I can go. This is SPOT ON! Unfortunately my kids will never understand this. It's definitely a generational thing.

    My grandmoms house growing up was exactly like this...But my grandmom would clean the runners while your still walking on them...And plastic covers on every piece of furniture in the house...She would clean the ashtray 1 second after you dyed out your cigarette...

    I heard Vic do this routine back in 1989 when he opened for Dom Irerra at Chuckles Comedy Club on Long Island. He stole the show! I never heard of him before and he was better than Dom. Incredibly funny routine!

    My grandma, bless her heart because she died this year, had the same couches for about 30-35 years..... they look brand new.... why? Literally they were never used unless she had guests and if we didn't have guests she put a plastic cover on them..... love her

    When my Grandmother was still alive I asked her; "Grandma, how far away from Naples, Italy did you live?" I'm thinking her answer would be in miles, 2, 4 maybe 5 miles away from Naples. She replied, "A day and a half horse and buggy ride" I swear to God, that's what she told me. 30 years later I still don't know!

      My grandparents had plastic on their couches and a friend of mine had a piano room in her house. It was all powder blue and a white piano with a plastic runner to walk on and a little white gate to keep people and the dog out. Her mother wouldn’t let anyone in there lol
