This was truly beautiful! It really shows the strength of the Lizardmen, even compared to fully armored Chaos Warriors who normally can decimate entire regiments and are only outmatched by Chosen and demons, but here they were wiped like a regiment of spearmen or men at arms! And those DELICIOUS kills that were performed! And then the affection shown to Grymloq were also just beautiful along with the takedown of the Giant! This was beautifully made, choreographed and animated and the detail was flawless. This was an awesome video to show off the lizardmen and their powers and prowess. Amazing job!
CA needs to hire this man to work on sync kill animations. I would love to see a carnosaur tackle a giant or a bloodthirster. Let us all know if and when CA reaches out to you in regards to your work. I can definitely see you having a future working on animations for future titles and in game trailers.
The man has my vote!
Better CA than GW
@@deadlyydude5522 I've noticed it's often creatures that are released in a DLC together too. I think I remember the Gorghon and some dino's having a cool animation.
@@deadlyydude5522 yeah, it's a lot of extra work for something small so I understand why it wouldn't be prioritized afterwards. Gonna have to rely on our beloved mod community probably haha.
You sometimes forget that the Lizards are technically allied to the races of Order, this was really cool getting to see them as protectors and total badasses
Pure enjoyment! Thanks for taking the time to make this :-)
Glad to see Goobertown Hobbies enjoying some fine Lizardmen art
Every time I do a lizardmen run, and when I start to get run down or overwhelmed by enemies, when my armies tire from fighting only to see another army coming in, when odds are against me, when both man and chaos are fighting against me, I look back on this video and remind myself "We were the first. We will be the last"
By the old ones, this was pure, unadulterated and glorious badassery, kudos!
This whole thing was amazing to watch, but 1:22 ?Absolutely stellar combo animation. Given to a nameless character. It's easaly one of the most impressive and good looking kills I've seen made in blender. You sir, deserve more praise than I can give.
I was waiting for the Hand of the Gods to go off and there's just stumps of legs left for the giant but this was even better
I know. Just hearing that *thud* *thud* from behind, I just knew who was coming!
GW: Hey you can't do that!
CA: It's cool, chill, it's for our Total War game
GW: ...He can't do that!
I especially enjoyed watching the skink and kroxigar interact. Nicely done!
nobody just calls Tehenhauin a skink! :D :D :D
That's Lizard Moses, if you're proper
Tehenhauin and Nakai
@@pyron674 Nakai didn't wander into the great reckoning to be called "a kroxigar"
Seeing Tehenhauin ride Nikkai and working together like that was just the cherry on top :D god I wish it was canon they're a dynamic duo.
Words cannot express the amount of joy this brought me. I felt like I was at the climatic part of the movie where the all the heros show up at the time of need and absolutely wreck everyone. I dont know how you gave Nakai, Kroq-gar, Gor-rok, and Tehenhauin expressions and character without talking but you did it.
That is, perhaps the most amazing thing I've seen in the history of fan animations. I can't even comprehend the skill and effort it must have required.
The animation was astounding. Each frame was crisp and it felt close to an animated movie.
The temple guard was smooth as hell
I love that you can viscerally feel the “WOMP” from the mace when it introduces the chaos warriors cranium to his rib cage
Chaos Giants look like they would taste terrible.
They do
Eh Grymloc ain’t picky
@@charlesman8722 wouldn't he get side effects?
@@muhammadsyauqibinmohdasnga4488 If It has some magical disease of Nurgle, maybe. But other wise its just a very dirty giant with a bunch of mutations. So yeah, as long as he doesn't have weird things like pus instead of blood or feces instead of organs, well, Grimloq would just eat it.
Lizardmen are highly resistant to chaos like dwarfs
Nice detail with the two humans saved by Kroq-Gar at the start being pretty nervous, since they are face to face with a large dinosaur man, then as the Lizardmen pass them by they realize the army isn't going to hurt them.
This looks so professional, wow kudos!
Definitely want to play a lizard men campaign now.
It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you don’t get decimated by a moon and not busy fending off wave after wave of verminous hordes. Nicely done and thanks for giving the Lizardmen some time in the spotlight.
Coolest shit ever. Made me wanna go and start a new Lizardmen campaign even tho I'm already playing one. :D
3 of the literal oldest warriors in the Warhammer fantasy world fighting together...Chosen or not, those Chaos bros had zero chance.
Dear lord, that was special.
Damn this was a gorgeous animation. I wish Grymloq could execute units like that in the actual game
There are some finishing moves, but mostly for units that are from the same game, like WH1 units fighting WH2 units don't work.
I can't wait to see more! This looks great!
For some reason I imagine seeing a little child gazing in awe as a giant dinosaur is coming by and he has the urge to pet it. The dino, maybe a triceradon or a bastiladon, would eye the child with a curious gaze. The child then goes to pet it and the dino makes a fun noise or something from being petted by the little one. Not sure why I thought about it but seeing Kroq-Gar pet Grymloq like that just makes me want to see that in action.
Can't wait to see more from you, keep up the fantastic work!
You mean a stegadon?
@@TheWhoamaters That's what I meant yeah. Couldn't think of the name correctly at the time.
@@broman3364 Fair enough
@@TheWhoamaters NP. Although, now that I think about it, I would find it hilarious if there was a sketch or scene featuring a child petting all the different dinos and each one can have a different reaction. Some would be indifferent while others would just be laugh out loud funny. It's just an idea but with your talent I can see something like that happen.
@@broman3364 I'm not the artist here bud, thanks tho
Chaos warrior shrugging and sighing is me in a game whenever I know I am gonna die lmao.
LIZARDMEN RECOGNITION!!!
Honestly it makes me so happy to see lizardmen animation and you getting the size right (dunno bout Tehenu), its all quite amazing.
I always wondered if Gor’Rok was bigger than millennia old Kroq’gar. It’s really cool to see by how much and that Kroq’gar uniqueness is his command/strategic abilities. Everyone’s personalities/behaviors was very lore accurate. Im blown away, great job!
Holy fuck this is just so impressive, everything is so smooth you gotta do more of these. WHF is back!!!
The sentiment behind this... I love the veneration of the Lizardmen, the first defenders of that world. Fantastic.
I love how the 7ft tall chaos champions looks so small against the scalie boys haha
Great work, I will follow your steps with great interest!
Well, the old ones have been taught to be perfect warriors. Size does matter!
Probably the best Warhammer animation I've ever seen, and one of the best animations all around.
I love how you got the sizes of the lizardmen right in this, the saurus towering over them is so cool
Not gonna lie, I don't know much about the Warhammer universe other than total war, and this has put the Lizardmen in a new light and actually gave them a shot on the game, and all I can say is,
Thank you Sir, I look forward to seeing more of your amazing work!
Holly shit this is all I ever wanted from the Lizardmen
love the temple guard being in sync they can be depictured as sorta savage so its nice to see them with that lockstep coordination
I always wanted to see Lizardmen fighting in the Old World, especially during the End Times, and see how the people of the Empire would react to such beings fighting against the forces of Chaos.
This fight takes place in Bretonnia.
This is like one of those battles where you know you’ll win no matter what. So you send just the lords and pretend that something super cinematic like this is happening
One of the best animations Ive seen for Warhammer, finally something that does the Lizardmen justice. This beauty is what GW wants to destroy, fight back.
This is amazing, I love the Lizardmen alot and I highly recommend trying to read up on as much lore to help you make your awesome animations, from what I've seen here you did great! Keep up the good work, and I highly recommend setting up a patreon to help you pay your bills while providing more outstanding work.
This is beyond amazing! I can't wait to see Krog-gar and the gang purge some Skaven next XD
This is absolutely stupendous work, the animation is gorgeous, and the action is well paced and timed too perfection, with the comedy bits being very well done, and the fact that everyone gets an almost equal amount of time to be badass makes me very happy. Great work!
I also love seeing the Lizardmen defend the empire citizens, it’s nice to see them be, you know, good.
Saw this posted on reddit and HAD to say…keep up the work man. This is good shit.
That was absolutely incredible. The level of quality was cinema-grade at least. Thank you for making this amazing video.
Holy crap this is an amazing animation the only thing that breaks the immersion is the unlikeliness of all those lizardman hero’s being in one place but it is still it is amazing as hell
Also I wish there was a bit more Chosen variation and I wish that the chaos giant was a Dragon Orge Shaggoth but beggars can’t be choosers
Edit: and a little more Carno animations
I have never seen a Total War animation of this quality..i got goosebumps every 5 seconds. Thanks so much for this work of art.
Incredible animation! This is so smoothly animated, it looks professional. Having this many legendary lords together would be a wrecking crew, and I love how easily they crush the chaos warriors. Always good to see Chaos in full retreat.
This is the best warhammer fantasy animation I have ever seen and is on par with the trailers, nice work
That was really impressive. Looking forward to seeing more of this kind of content.
that disarm then thrust was so perfect. Your animations are fantastic! The crushed head, the smashed in head etc... all so good!
Anxiously awaiting whatever you do next. Absolutely love this.
Love how the lizardmen are represented, cold chaos murdering robots as they should be. Outstanding work!
Glad I got to see this before GW shuts it down.
They can't. This is using total war models
They care more about 40k then fantasy
@@parkerconnolly2484 They endtimed Fantasy already, as far as they are concerned, the IP is dead !
... Doesn't mean they won't try to milk its corpse of course...
@@pierre-mariecaulliez6285 fair enough
@Taramafor Haikido That's Creative Assembly using the licence they bought before this whole mess ;7
I do hope to see more from you in the future. Too often 40K’s been in the spotlight it’s great seeing Fantasy getting some fanimations.
Coolest thing I have seen in a long time, awesome work! Would love to see more, especially with some of the other races.
Imagine all of the races' leaders teaming up to face off against the Chaostide of Chaos Warriors, Norscans, and Beastmen... THAT. Would. Be. AWESOME!
Dude, 3 minutes and 50 seconds of clean, great-looking, well-timed animation? You have my absolute respect. Especially when you had the four of 'em fighting simultaneously in slow-mo. The beats for their attacks felt sooo good. Well done!
Epic, but would’ve preferred chaos warriors being destroyed and then chosen being the next level tougher battle with maybe a few temple guard losses to give credence to chosen being elite. Loved it still.
have to agree. chosen are chosen for a reason. but yea, was neat overall.
@@taddad2641 Having played SFO Grimmhammer the lore balancing for Temple Guard is wack. One or Two units have won me full battles so I give credit where due. Though casualties would still have been appreciated.
Those could have been legendary temple guards, ones even more veteran than the average temple guard. Still amazing work
This is by far my favorite animation, and the best representation of Temple Guards. I hope you continue with more!
Best Warhammer fantasy animation I've ever seen. And with my favourite faction no less! Keep it up, we need more of this!
Well done. I thought this was a cut scene I missed from total war, then I saw in the comments that you made this. The Halo music went really well with it
So incredibly awesome! You just got a sub from me :) I love everything about this video, the Lizardmen have always been my favorite. I thought it was funny how Gor-Rok was ready to take on the giant when Kroq-Gar steps in and is like "let Grymloq handle this," and Gor-Rok just shakes his head as if he's thinking "show off!"
I also love the detail of Tenahanuin just sitting down to enjoy the show!
ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL what fluidity in the movements, i really enjoyed how it doesnt feel clunky at all
The disarming strike from the temple guard! Holy cow!
VERY cool. Well animated, lots of character in the combatants' body language, and I rarely see lizardmen presented in this light. Bonus points for the Nakai-Tehenhauin fastball special, which is something I never imagined I'd see!
I absolutely love lizardmen, so it comes as no surprise that this is my favorite cinematic ever! So good, and looking forward to more!
I'm absolutely amazed by the work you've put into this! Gods, CA should absolutely highlight this video, what a beautiful piece of art!
Edit: The clear weight added to Nakai's war hammer at 1:50 as he slams into the wall and bounces off the ground is magnificent. I keep finding new little details with every new watch
This was absolutely epic. I honestly wish it was even longer it was so damn good and fun to watch. I hope to see more like this sometime.
"It's the Lizardmen! We're freed from Chaos!"
"Oh, I wouldn't say 'freed', more like under new management..."
*grabs knives and forks*
This was by far some of the best animation I've seen here on UA-cam, the fight scenes were incredible.
I'm loving tehenhauin and nakai (well i assume it's them) with their little/big buddy dynamic. Just imagine them just basking in the sun together on a nice warm rock with some water gently flowing nearby. Pure bliss
I love the Lizardmen and seeing this godlike animation just made my week or even this year
Other Title: 2 humans escaping chaos confused lizard beastmen attacked chaos.
The way they interact with each other also showcases how the different types of Lizardmen usually act, with the Kroxigor being ready to just try and fight the giant, showcasing their brawn ober brains approach to things and the Skink just sitting down, showing their intelligence! I can't wait to see what you have in store in the future!
That wasn't a kroxigor, it was Gor-Rok. He's a massive saurus champion. One of my favorites
