Shout out to my man Lord Kroak who killed 100k demons then took out dozen greater demons of Khorne who had been given special protection against ALL magic form Khorne himself. Kroak was killed by them, but then said "nuh uh" and came back to life, then killing the magic-immune demons with MAGIC. Gigachad

Yeah, but i wish they gave them more personality, like for example a Saurus after guarding the same place and staning at the same place everyday for 200 years went like "screw this", threw his spear and left.
Personal Suggestions for Future Videos. 1) The Tau from Warhammer 40K 2) The Old Republic Era from Star Wars legends. 3) The Klingons from Star Trek. 4) The Empire of Man from Warhammer Fantasy. 5) The Lore of the Sci-fi universe of Dune.
So glad to see my favourite Warhammer faction see this special attention! And even more glad to see Warhammer content that isn't end times content haha
I will always remember my first battle in Warhammer 2 tw against the lizard men, seeing a carnosaur charge into my elven spearmen for the first time was glorious
In Warhammer Total War, specifically in these campaigns, you can sacrifice the souls of the Lizardmen to the two Chaos Gods Slaanesh or Nurgle (making them end up in the Six Circles of Seduction or the Plague Garden). But which of the two has more power to seduce or corrupt the souls of Saurus and Kroxigors? How would it turn out? (I go for Slaanesh)
I highly recommend the channel/podcast Laying Down the Lore: Warhammer Old World if you want more Warhammer Fantasy lore! It's hosted by a Scottish guy who's been a WH fan since the 80s and is basically a living WH lexicon. He's explaining the whole setting to two friends who know very little about WH but are interested. Great info and entertaining presentation and chemistry!
They go quite in-depth (for example, they spend at least 6 hours covering the Skaven and 7+ covering the Dwarfs) with what I think is an appropriate sprinkling of entertaining banter
Saying “Dinosaur’s riding Dinosaur’s” is like looking a human on a horse and saying “Mammal’s riding Mammal’s”, it’s just a weird way to phrase something.
So glad you guys are making this series! My only request is the music be replaced with something less intrusive than the current battle music being used.
Chakax and Tetto’Eko needs to join Total War as legendary heroes. It’d be lore accurate for them to have abilities that boosts the power of Slann mages, so Slanns other than the life Slanns gets more utilization.
How the Lizardmen lose to Skaven is beyond me? They have all the advantages. Bigger, stronger, evolutionarily superior they are to Skaven. Who else attacked Lustria?
Well the plague destroyed a lot of their numbers, the skaven remained hidden for a long time and the menace was undetected. Also lizardmen society relies on the slann to actually do something. And most are sleeping ... cities are most of the time isolated and have few contacts with the other cities of the lizardmen. The lizardmen have no empire to speak of, they have a collection of ruined cities isolated in the jungle with saurus warriors waiting sometimes for eons that the slann wakes up and command something. This lethargic atitude in a crumbling empire is exactly why some human cities are able to cling on to the coast and why the skaven were so deady before tehuanin gathered the skinks to basically disobey their instincts and act without the slanns. But yes if the slanns were to all wake up ... tremble for the poor souls who would have to fight lizardmen. Anyway all these information can be found in the 8th edition codex of warhammer batttle. If you are intrested go and buy this book it is incredibly detailed and a overall good read.
Also to answer you last question lustria is attacked frequently by skavens, dark elves using the sea below ( a network of caverns and tunnels with water ) they loot lustrian cities temples and gather gold. The empire has sent many expeditions to lustria to settle and plunder. The norse are frequently coming to lustria to loot as well. Most of them are not fought openly by the lizardmen who prefer to let them take the gold. Were they to touch old ones tabletts or artifact that would spring an immediate reaction by the whole lizardmen city temple. This makes the lizardmen difficult to understand for most faction as they see that they can plunder with impunity sometimes but sometime they will just get massacred for a little stone statue and the lizardmen will not even bother to recover the gold being content to burn the city and leave the gold in its ashes. So yeah lustria is enigmatic to most faction who have no clear idea who and what are the lizardmen. Some elves have been able to understand ans even talk with slanns but that's pretty much it.
Like you said, you had to mention all the Warhammer heroes fantasy say try to do it again or is it just that bad ending because you never mentioned the other factions, or even the small heroes?
The channel/podcast Laying Down the Lore: Warhammer Old World has 6+ hours of content on the High Elves. I recommend starting from episode 1 though, they cover an immense amount of lore
You didn’t mention 1 important fact that Nakai killed and held a bridge against hordes of demons for so long that all those demons sent back to the realm of chaos still hesitate when trying to cross any bridges.
The only thing better than Dinosaurs riding dinosaurs is a dinosaur riding a dinosaur with a space laser on its back. Side note, Carnosaur is a terrible Jurassic park knock off film series.

Going over the lizardmen and how obviously overpowered they are makes the End Times sting so badly.

I so dearly love the naming scheme of the Lizardmen. I remember when I ran my army back in the day, it hailed from the lesser ruined city of Itzdapitz
Y’all gotta do a Beastmen lore video, you could fit all their culture and history into probably one video
they'll talk about every faction
I wonder who does the cooking or the building for beastmen?

It seems to me that they are going to be talking about races from Warhammer, Skyrim and Lord of the Rings all year long.

Thanks for another fantastic video! The lizardmen of WH are fascinating to me.⚔🦎🔥

Will you be continuing the star wars lore series?
For Lustria!
Great video, masterfully animated. I wonder if you excluded dreadsaurian because they were from monstrous arcanum, as they are the only thing missing.
