They glanced over the important details too quickly.
• Cannabis *extracts* can't have THC content exceed 0.2%.
• Only *public* recreational use is still illegal, but you can fully smoke it in private without causing public discourse under its influence. I think that's what the video meant by "still technically illegal".
• There's no limit on the THC content on home-grown cannabis plants either

In moderation alcohol is far far safer I think, nothing bad comes from being tipsy, however more than 3 puffs of weed can trigger psychosis depending on who your with and where your at mentally at the time, 3 or more puffs of weed can also be beautiful triggering happiness and confidence but the both sides are there, alcohol on a tipsy level does nothing but a good buzz, 1 or 2 standard drinks is no harm at all

Cannabis has been controlling/aiding many of my MS symptoms for over 25 years!
Pot has the power to eliminate poverty if properly applied with a little oversight. You teach a class on growing safely and require everyone to attend before they get an ID card. After that the grow gets inspected to make certain you are doing it right and doing it right means no chemicals, no mold, no mites or aphids and you are allowed to grow whatever you want. That's the way to do it.

Now is the time for Australia to decriminalise and legalise CANNABIS. It has been quietly talked about for long enough, we as a country are being left behind.
And in our capital , Canberra it is legal for adult use and home grow of cannabis. Just passed in parliament today most of the hard drugs will be legal to be used for recreational adult use. Nice one Canberra !

the first time i was there in 1968 i got weed from two cops . they charged me a 50 dollar tax . we smoked some together too . laughed about the tax deal a lot.

But it doesn't make sense - why would a CBD oil have to be low on THC but buds with high THC are legal? I don't think this was intended. Just making CBD oil and weed for medicinal purposes legal here in Germany took years, smoking THC rich weed is still illegal.
Making extracts with less than 0,2% legal doesn't automatically mean that the highly potent flowers are also legal.

As it should be worldwide! But the sales numbers are a fantasy. Very few people can grow plants that big, and once a lot hits the market the price will drop. But it's great that the Thai government has made a move towards freedom!
Thai's must protect their heritage strains, thai executive grade was still to this day the strongest trippiest weed i ever smoked in '90, came in a thai diplomatic bag so top grade.

If I wouldn't have booked my holiday to Europe already, I would take the next plane to Thailand and spend my holiday money there, but next holiday is a no brainer for me where to go 😀

Countries also does not legalize marijuana addiction, since it is a definite loss in businesses, such as CRIMES, from drug cannabis. TOURISTS are also discouraged from MARIJUANA, since it is a LOSS in businesses, DRUG POSSESSION that Kills lives.

I'm just curious who they plan on selling all of it too. It's all well and good to tell everyone to grow 50lb a year but obviously no one in Thailand will be interested in buying it if they have their own 50lb at home and I doubt ten people could smoke that much a year

The law allows for raw plant with up to 20% THC to be smoked. Its only extracs that cannot go over 0.2%.
No it doesn't, there is no upper limit for THC content in the plants you grow - that would be impossible to police anyway.

With the way how thailand works, nobody will bother what kind of weed you're smoking. It's all good. nobody's checking on you every minute.
0.2% THC rule ONLY APPLIES TO EXTRACTS! You can freely smoke it at your place (smoking, boiling, cooking, eating), but not in public.
