Everyone in my class is studying hard already every single day for the board exam and I’m just like hmmm should I start studying too? Lol. I hate studying 😩I have my exam in April
I think it depends differently for every one, most times I can study for a good two weeks and be fine. I would look the board review information to get an idea of how much you of it you feel comfortable with and what you don’t know. It could help determine how long you think you should study, but the biggest key is to stay consistent! Taking break in between of no studying will have you forgetting and sets you back! I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions :)
CSCE also has about 12-15 throwaway questions that they aren’t going to count towards you they just want to use us as guinea pigs to see how we do on them🤣 So don’t be nervous if a few questions don’t make sense they do that on purpose. 😑 I have my boards in June but they don’t offer the long version right now only the short version.
Good luck on your coming exam!! I just passed my clinical and CSCE….now it’s time to conquer the NBDHE next month. I heard it’s heavy on pharmacology, perio, and community. I also heard that andyrdh questions were basically the same as the test, I wonder how true that is.
@@ohsoyoujazz0915 Thank you so much!!! I moved it to July 27th so I have a few more days. And I’ve heard the exact same thing. Pharmacology is definitely something I would hit hard two of my classmates emphasized the importance after their test. I would also recommend quizlets relating to the NBDHE they are very helpful! Also congrats on passing the first two, time to ace this last one!!
I took all of those too the National is by far the hardest and most ridiculous in my opinion. I have to take again because like you I’m a procrastinator but also I ran out of time on the first part so automatically I missed 100..I cried! I take it on Wednesday and have been study for all of week with Andy’s. This is the third time I’ve embarrassing enough because I made a 72!!!! But I didn’t try and was struggling that week with something else but tmi lol I just need to get it done cause this is my last chance and I’m so nervous!!!
Hi I’m currently a high school student aspiring to be a dental hygienist! I was wondering how much do high school grades matter bc I don’t have bad grades but I also don’t have straight A’s. How hard is it to get into college first to start your prereqs?
Hello! It depends on what college you want to go too. Each one may have a minimum GPA requirement for acceptance. Typically most community colleges have lower GPA requirements, but again it depends, check the college’s website or contact them to see! Once you start taking a decent amount of college courses, including the pre-reqs, your high school gpa will matter much less
Hello, about the Hesi book was there like all dental hygine material there? I'm going to have Hesi exam which is like Mock board review just to see where i'm at and when I can take the NBDHE and I don't know what to study so I just want to see if this book will help. Hope to hear from you soon.
Do u know if it’s possible to take the national board exam in a different state? There’s no dates available in my own state so i’m willing to travel to a different state to take it.
Congrats on becoming a RDH. It's definitely much much much better than being a DA.
