My school didn’t require for us to take that seminar but about half of my classmates and I signed up. Even though it was a long weekend, attending that seminar definitely boost what I already know. I have yet to sign up for boards, and feeling all sorts of emotions! But thank you so much for this video! How long did you study before taking your boards?

Just took the NBDHE yesterday and left yesterday feeling completely defeated and uncapable.. I thought I had prepared myself but once the first question came it was a different story. It took me almost 7 hours to do and I feel like such a failure. results don't come for a few weeks but i was the last one in my class to take it and everyone else has passed and said it wasn't bad so i feel very alone :(

What if I already have a biology & chemistry degree, and would like to do dental hygiene? I see a lot of things about certifications and licenses, but do I still do those programs despite the fact that I have a degree?

A year and a half, close to 2 but it took summer classes to go faster
a year if you take 3 or 4 classes and if you take 2 each semester depending on what you need i will say one year and hald
I see you have a nose ring & I was wondering if I could have a nose ring while I’m in actual dental hygiene school? I’m turning 18 soon and I want the piercing but I don’t want to get if I’m going to have to take it out for school. Thanks
nugget my school didn’t allow us to have nose rings , but my current job does :)

r n DH Seminars. You can't just order the book. You have to pay the registration fee of about $350-375. Might be higher cost if you register super late.

Khaliyah Hughes check out Student RDH . That was all I studied to pass my boards .

you have to go to the seminar, sometimes you can find someone selling the book but it is illegal to sell the book.

I am currently a senior in a Concorde Dental Hygiene program. Its challenging on every level but I love it. A little more expensive than other programs but if you do the math, it's worth the time saved, it's an 18 month program prereqs included. I take boards in September! You should def look into it.
I’m in the Concorde as well, take boards end of October and CRDTS November.
It is hard! Very fast paced and and everyday program.
If you’re ready to give your life up for a whole year and have time to go everyday it’s worth it!
