I made a shroud for my spotlight so the beam doesn't reflect off the foredeck and blind you. It works like a charm, Now I'm looking for some good forward lighting. This was very helpful. Cheers from Vancouver Island.

Excellent work as always! I love watching your videos. The way you shoot and edit makes it feel like we're there with you. I think I would add another 'night light' over the sleeping area with a switch closer to where you sleep. I always see you using a flash light before bed and wonder if a switch near the bed would save you having to find the flash light in the middle of the night. Keep the videos coming, captain!

Love your channel and I watch your videos every day, I liked all the addons you have done to the boat. Honestly I don't think it goes well with the crooked house. But that's just my opinion. I know you do everything with a purpose and everything you add to the boat has a meaning but Capt this in my opinion doesn't look good or gives out the amount of light I would expect. Keep up the good work with the channel, hopefully we all can go out to the boat ramps really soon. Stay safe 👍

Un gran video como siempre. Un saludo desde Houston. TX. Mi familia no se pierde un video. Mi papa le instaló una barra de luz al bote de nosotros y al ver su video me comento q seria bueno tener un relay para q el interruptor no se vaya quemando con el tiempo ya q ese foco es de una potencia considerable.

Awesome Job as always! You could take to other one and mount on the overhang of the pilothouse, I know you already have two back there but you could turn them sideways one to port and one to starboard and point the new one straight back then you would have light on all four sides of the boat! ....Just a thought. @@OutOnTheReef Hi Capt. I was lucky that the previous owner had the light installed; If I was doing it myself I would do what you did; I would not have drilled the 4 holes in the bow rail! And as you mentioned in your video, your wide-angle light spread is a better idea than having to sweep back and forth, up and down with a GoLight. Especially on a rough night where I need both hands to run the boat!

Looks great!! I went with a plash 6" combo spot flood light bar on my flats boat and I was super impressed. Over 7000 lumens on a little light. They're made in Texas so they're a bit costly. If you decide you need something brighter the 6" plash marine may be the way to go. It would fit under your pulpit nicely.

It's called flood light captain.. would be good to install a flood and spotlight side by side in case need to see farther away. If they have one with two beam flood and spot would also be great. Also, once you're on the water some of the light will be absorbed by the water and will not be that bright unless the angle of the waves with respect to the boat will reflect some light back.
