    Should have tested it at night where you could have slid it back and got rid of bow glare. Other than that, nice install.

      Yes thought of that after, glare back isn’t as bad in person but yes I agree. Thank you!

      @@SeaShift what sealant did you use for the screws?

      @SeaShift  4 місяці тому +1

      @@ryanwalsh5305 since this was above water we used clear silicone. As well we ended up using drop through bolts, the one that has a bar that goes sideways once dropped into the hole rather than through bolts to secure the light bar itself.

    When you're running your wires, tape them up and make them stiff, run them. Worked for me. Lol

      Will try next time for sure! As you saw only tape enough so we don’t lose them lol

    Can this be mounted on a T-Top?

    • @SeaShift
      @SeaShift  11 днів тому

      @@tracymartin1336 I don’t see what not, it would depend where I suppose. If there enough room for the supports to get a good bite with a through bolt do get through the pipe. Honestly hard to say without seeing size and such

    Nice install! You should figure out how to quick mount it over the side for bully netting. I was thinking of doing something like that on my skiff. This is Joe from Laubscher tales by the way. We went out on the 1st out of Flamingo. Lots of dead snook at the marina due to the cold weather we had. We still did pretty good though.

      Again!? That’s terrible I hope it wasn’t as bad as the freeze years ago. We will be going down next weekend!

    If you mount the light 15 inches further aft you wont have any light shining on the bow.

      I was concerned about it but it doesn’t provide that much reflection to where it is bad. A few inches back would’ve helped for sure though

      Haven’t had a chance to get it on the water at night yet! Will do follow up soon!

      @@SeaShift likely story! Lol just kidding. I’m wanting to do something on my boat for night time. Been looking at light bars and or maybe the sionyx nightwave. Not sure yet. There’s a guy local to me that putting the sionyx on his boat maybe in the next week or so and once I see his I’ll decide which route I want to go.

      @@redman2751 I will say this that joker is bright! It puts out so much light. I can’t wait to get out at night and try it that’s for sure. I was going back and forth but I’m already glad I did.
