I Bought a Porsche Cayman GTS in the summer to go alongside my BMX X4M40i and I thought it was a fantastic double garage to have... but in this video I explain exactly why I had to sell one of my cars... did I sell my car on auto trader? how do you sell a car on autorader? how do you sell a car on ebay? how much I got for the car and what might be happening next!

I like to get my money's worth out of my cars. My BMW X5 is 18 years old. £54000 new .... I didn't pay anywhere near that. Inbetween I've had toys. Modified Impreza that had what felt like a jet engine in it, a Volvo S40T4 customised into a Yute.
And when my BMW dies (or before) I'm going to get me a 4 wheel drive Skoda Yeti! Does everything I want it to. That's what I reckon you are going to get James. That was the best flip of the bird I've seen. Looks like Laura has had plenty of practice. Good to see the channel back.
Robo, if it's on PCP or lease you can have it serviced anywhere so long as the garage is VAT registered.

Sold my F-Pace 18months in a pcp deal to we buy any car, got 3k more than the dealer offered, but ended up with 5750 equity. Service light wasn’t far from coming out on.
It was crazy for me, too. Had a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport S 4 door. Bought it for $35,000 in June 2018 and sold it back in June 2021 for $32,500. Took home a 2021 Jeep Gladiator (Wrangler 4 door truck) with tons of options and put $11,500 in equity down on the new one. Shorter loan, same payments, and even with drive off the lot depreciation I'm $9,000-$10,000 ahead on the payments.

Might be reading too much into your comments, but you said that you didn't want to say where the factory is. So I'm guessing it's a country that doesn't make a lot of bigger cars? Skoda, or maybe a Lambo SUV?
2nd hand car market going thru the roof just now as car manufacturers can’t get parts to make new cars so there is not enough new car being made

Just done the same James, had a m135i for nearly 2 years and made 200 quid on it... Switched to the S5 which I haven't really paid over the odds for (I'd love to see 25mpg btw 😂)

You’re not likely to see 25mpg with a S5, I had the V10 S6 and was lucky to see double figures.
There's a shortage of computer parts for new cars. So well taken care of used cars is in high demand
Quality used car stock is at a premium. World shortage of production of cars. So any decent used car you’ll get more money for, but delivery times for new is very long. Be careful.

Just done a quick webuyanycar valuation on my car on the back of this video. Merc a200 coming up to 3years old, had it 18months and estimate was 2 grand more than I paid for it
Best of luck with the car deals. As of now, the US is the same way with used car prices, a good time to sell.
Same in Australia mate, we just sold a 10 year old land cruiser for only 12k less than the original price.

New car sales are down because wait times are up. Wait times are up because there's an increased global demand for computer chips so chip manufacturers can't keep up. It's wrongly being reported as a silicon shortage - it's not. It's because of increased demand and the inability of the manufacturers to keep up with demand. They prepare chip runs years in advance so they never expected this.
Because of all that people would rather get a car now and not have to wait months and months for a new car. That's the reason for the bubble.
New car sales are not down. Demand is actually above norm. You’re right the issue is production, semi conductors are not short. PCB’s and the glue used on the board are the problem.
