- Finally Collecting Our NEW DREAM CAR!? A few weeks ago I posted a video saying I had to sell my Porsche... and it was a very emotional day as I absolutely loved that car! but all good things come to an end and selling the Porsche 718 Cayman GTS was the right thing to do at the time... having been looking for a replacement car for some time and tested a few different cars including Aston Martin Vantage, Jaguar F-Type, Porsche 911 Carerra and even a Hot hatch VW Golf R... I finally came to a decision and we bought our new dream car!!!!
Welcome to the world of Aston Ownership!! Once you get one you want more!! I have been fortunate enough to have a V12 Vantage for 3 years and now looking to add a Vanquish too :)

I've followed the golf channel for a few years now but the missus (Kay) loves the off course one, so she's hooked too now.

The golf channel James is one of my favorites, alone with Golf Mates. Chris an Gary matches are always good for a laugh. But I have to admit, I watch this channel to see that lovely young lady. Her voice is so relaxing!

Guys it's stunning. The correct colour too. Probably not actually as good a car as the Porsche but on a completely different level in theatre, head turning, sound and probably how it makes you feel. Good job well happy for you

If you get the chance to tour the Aston factory you will be amazed. I believe if you own one you do get the opportunity to visit. Spotless with a true sense of attention to detail is the impression you will get. Also the amount of Aston’s in the general car park is amazing as well

best not leave too early in the morning with that exhaust note... sounds great... neighbours might disagree... but enjoy it whilst you can as they say you cant take ur money with you
Absolutely awesome to watch. As a fellow petrolhead and huge Porsche & BMW fan, I will concede that there is something in an Aston that a Porsche may just not be able to deliver. Just the sound is worth it.

That thing in the centre console is actually a secondary key hole, for if the push button stops working, or incase the key battery dies
Fair play, fantastic car the Vantage. I was close to getting lovely used example a few years ago, similar colour, older engine and interior to yours but sadly couldn’t make the numbers work in the end. It’s hard not to fall in love with them, enjoy many miles of happy motoring.

Yep. I'm jealous. I could nearly afford the fuel for it. And if I gave up food and golf for a while I could one day get a Tyre for it.
Aston resale values certainly aren’t Porsche’s but if I was British I’d probably get one too. Such a cool car, if not the engineering marvel of a gt3/turbo.

With second hand car prices being where they are which allowed you to get out of your Porsche deal well, did you find yourself paying an inflated price for the Vantage?
The “socket” in the armrest is for the emergency key to start the car if for any reason the button goes AWOL.

The Vantages are absolute go-karts, you will love it. Don’t know if Aston still put the name of the guy that built it on the engine block - if so a shot of it on a future vid would be a nice shout out. Prepare yourself & Laura for some tired out grin muscles 😁
