Girl your inspiring!!! I work in Arizona driving mixer trucks, my company wouldnt let me shoot videos, but its so helpful and educational to many! Thank you for doing you girl. I'm going to try and do a few as well us ladies have to stick together ❤️ woman truckers! Keep on trucking!
Never ask. Just do it but do it at your own risk. You put yourself and the company at risk. As long as you’re doing everything right and don’t share what company you work for you should be fine. Who you should ask is those you’re delivering too. Just hope they don’t inform your company about it.
Your truck driving skills are very impressive young lady. Aint no way I could have drove that truck up those hills, backwards like you did. You're a BOSS LADY in my book. Be careful and thanks for sharing. Has anyone ever told you that you look like a younger version of Salma Hayek the movie star? I'm not just saying that either, you do. If Hollywood ever did a movie about a truck driving beauty queen, you could be the star.
Awesome driving on scary load 2 a lot of our drivers would have trouble doing that and you need a new chute rubber to stop the concrete coming out and going on your truck in Australia we call it a chute rubber I don’t know what they call it in America cheers
I’ve gone up some of those hills in Hollywood and i absolutely hate it. You went on the nicer street. I went on the more narrow and falling apart roads and people just hall ass up and down the hills especially around blind sharp turns we both end up slamming the brakes. Huge props cause you went up with all that weight. I went to this gas facility in porter ranch and went way to the top with a half loaded truck of reels only to drop off one big one for a customer and the brakes stank once i got to the bottom. I was surprise they didn’t go out cause i wasn’t trained in that and only went based off what I’ve seen on UA-cam. I have a class C and it was automatic so that lowkey gear didn’t work for crap. Recently i went back to that place with a different truck and only went up a 3/4 mile of a small incline which honestly is nothing. For some reason right before goin back down the airbrakes started leaking and threw it in reverse back up the hill and parked for 15-20minutes hoping they’d fill back up cause i had not clue what to do and there’s absolutely no signal in that area. Everyone uses radios.
Yo... I think your YT channel is popping up on the concrete algorithm. So cool to be introduced to your channel. I normally watch Victory Outdoor Services' YT (Concrete contractor in Wisconsin), but it's so cool to see you're in Cali as a concrete driver. I'll subscribe to show my support!
the look on that guy's face in the red shirt as you were going up the hill in the red shirt said it all " is that a girl in that big truck??? keep up the good work love your content!!!
Hello from Sweden! Stumbled across your channel just around a week ago... (the clip - "I don't like concrete chute pours | Ready Mix Concrete"). Started watching and wondered if the title was wrong?!? There was a young pretty girl putting on some makeup and showing off her new outfit...? Never did I then think, I would watch this (new) talented driver, driving concrete!!! I will definitely continue follow you and watch your channel... so keep up the good work. 👍 Best of Luck!!! 😉🙏
Unique ... a young lady doing this kind of work! As your channel grows, maybe later, mount additional camera behind you so we can see more of your truck rig driving & gear shifting skills. The narrow streets and backing up was impressive! Remain 'positive' like you are, and always be safe on the road 😎 👍
Hi Lexie , those things 8nside your drum that you call pillars , they are actually called fins lol , I also drive a mixer , your doing a great job out there , as always be safe
Did my two years in concrete mixer. Good money during warmer weather but bad during winter time 💯 my truck was great for spilling concrete especially at a angle with the chutes on dumping fast
Sweet reversing job, I drove a a flatbed around that size in the coast areas, all tiny streets, doubled parked cars, people speeding like that minivan 😂, it was fun though, not everyone can handle a truck that long, keep it up 👍
At 5:54 sounds like you got a curb mix on your truck…. They batched it tight 🗣after doing it for a few months you get pretty good at knowing them slumps by just listening to
Great video and nice to see you working hard in the concrete world. Just be careful filming while driving, it's no joke. That truck weighs 70-80k loaded and it will easily flatten most cars. Even if you don't get hurt, your life will be ruined when someone else is. Cheers!
Hola Lexie, In order to fix the cement spill you can try extending it by installing some of the rubber mat that hangs on top of your drum long enough to go across the back of your shoot. Maybe there is a spare at the yard. Then buy some self taping screws and some washers and secure the mat. Suerte.
Lexie if your'e spilling on the booster try short chuting it.....this will give you more angle on the chute and should stop the spillage.......good luck!!! you're a bad ass!!!!!
Pumps made the 6x6 mixers exstinked where i live. The places I put my truck was wild fun. There was maybe 15 6x6 mostly international paystar, out of 100 trucks in town. I drove one of the last 3 Oshkosh front discharge in the state. They were so heavy i could only carry 7yrd. But alot of my delivery's were places you went to with 4 or 5 because of hills and terrain
Lexie's out here showing the World, that her backup game, is better then anything, on OF! lol! I hope you got some extra sleep the next day? You earned it. You got me lovin' Saturday nights again. Stay safe out there.
Protecting your hair is a good idea. The lime in the concrete will dry it out a lot. I’m sure you’ve noticed that when you touch the concrete with your bare hands. They call it a “burn” but it really just dries them out and sometimes they’ll peel a little bit after a couple days.
Great work ethic! Hope your channel blows up, just a suggestion get a GoPro head mount and dash mount. Cover all angles to edit later. Keep them coming watching from Australia
You truly are an Amazing woman Lexie. Driving that Concrete mixer and doing what you are doing. Wow. I am amazed. I really like your video's. I wish you and your family well and hope to see more video's. Take care and stay safe.
I work for National Ready Mix out of the Van Nuys yard and we’re always in the Hollywood Hills area. It’s pretty tight up there and the streets are steep as well
I will say, I’m a guy, and I find it inspiring to see women do jobs that are majority filled with men in said roles. I’m a bridge operator, and one day we had contractors at our bridge doing some intense shit. They had this one chick out there who, real shit, was out working some of the men. And I was like damn, that’s cool as hell to see. I feel like more women should feel inspired to take on some of these jobs most people assume only men can do. Keep at it. I’ve never taken a second thought to what this job entails, but it’s cool as hell to see! My only question, is what do you do when nothings going on? I have to assume there’s downtime between jobs yeah?
Love watching your videos on UA-cam and like how you explain everything about your truck too and you are so cool too and love watching your videos here and now become a fan of yours on UA-cam now and now watching your videos on UA-cam now and probably subscribe to your UA-cam channel too
Watched like 3 of your videos. This is the first non-pump job I have seen you on. My ratio when driving a mixer for over 7 years was the opposite. I would luck out with a pump job maybe a couple times a week. I moved on to QC. With my last concrete job. It seems like California really into the buck shot loads. I get it for the small pump jobs, but it looked like you had a buck shot load even for the one you spouted.
What company do you work for? How are the hours? I work as a rock & sand driver. I always wondered if the drivers on the ready mix get good hours. Good work by the way. 👍
Hello my name is Alex from Robertson's been doing it for 15yrs. Nice to meet a fellow mixer driver. I work out of the Inland Empire. Be safe and stay focus. Be glad to help out if you need any input or just share fun chat😊 Glad to subscribe and show support👍🤟🤙✊️keep on trucking!
I hated driving up hills, good thing you only had 4 yards. Nice job backing up, that looked kind of tight. When I first started all the other Drivers were hungry for Work. I almost never had to take late loads.

OHMYGOSH your seat doens't SQUEAK!!! Thank you for posting another video so soon Lexie! Really cool to see mixer life and how you handle it!
Absolutely love your backing skills!
👍👍

Years ago, my buddy drove a Old Diamond Rio Mixer in The Hollywood Hills, he said it wasn’t fun😢😮 Thanks for sharing
My new Hero is you I have done almost all types of Trucking except Mixer and where you deliver OMG . Be proud of yourself Peace out from Canada

Maybe use one less chute when discharging into the pump to create more of the decline for the mix so it doesn't build up behind so much
That’s a sick pump and pickup.
I think you probably need a new chute skirt or short chute it without the flop down
Definitely a new chute skirt
Probably the cutest concrete trucker ever
Yo
You are a good mixer driver.
Great video and nice to see you working hard in the concrete world. Just be careful filming while driving, it's no joke. That truck weighs 70-80k loaded and it will easily flatten most cars. Even if you don't get hurt, your life will be ruined when someone else is. Cheers!

I hope you got some extra sleep the next day? You earned it.
You got me lovin' Saturday nights again.
Stay safe out there.
For the problem with the cement falling off the area you mentioned, maybe putting a piece of metal piece as a shield?
Great job, skills, driver!
Awesome blog as always👍🏽…So sorry for sending the “Pineapple Express” weather to you guys in Cali😆…Aloha Lexie🤙🏽
Awesome 😮

Savage entering that street in reverse ❤ great job

Amazing reverse wow
Thank you! I’d rather drive in reverse 24/7 if it was allowed 😅 .. it’s super fun and gives me a challenge
You're awesome! So fun watching you do your job!

Dam... You can sure handle that truck in those narrow streets.
Buy a scoop and whenever you see the build up on the backside just scoop towards the side so it won’t spill over
Good Job! You are very beautiful and to be a younger person that cares about what she does, your father should be proud.
Me gusta la destreza con la que realizas tu trabajo.. regards from Tij Mex

The hoodie over the hardhat killed me 😂🙏🏼keep up the good work
13:13 is that a purified water dispenser for jobsites????????? that is amazing, I work construction and never even knew those existed.
You drive like a G😎👍🏼
How did I found you? No idea, great content! Keep it up!
I’ve come across your TikTok’s but the algorithm seemed to stop showing me your videos. Had no idea you did UA-cam!
I'd had make them back me up closer and not use fold over. What do yall make an hour out there?
Reversed up that tight street with curves in the road like it was nothing😨 damn
Br Safe out there Fellow Mixer Driver 🙌
GREAT job again. I know you got the release to back in there. Cheap contractor should have had a pump.
That is crazy babygirl 😍
Glad I finally saw a clip with you wearing gloves. Don't know why anyone, much less a young woman, wouldn't wear them around concrete,
I hated driving up hills, good thing you only had 4 yards. Nice job backing up, that looked kind of tight. When I first started all the other Drivers were hungry for Work. I almost never had to take late loads.
How long do you plan on being a truck driver
