  • Google Ads are still one of the best platforms that you can use to grow your business. Primarily because it lets you reach the right people when they're looking for whatever it is that you're selling. When they're actively searching for keywords related to your content, your product, your services, you can be right then and there. But, a lot of people find it difficult to make their campaign scale and become profitable. So what should you do? Today I'm going to walk you through seven AdWords hacks that'll make your campaign scale profitably.
    PLAYLIST - IMPROVING YOUR GOOGLE ADS CAMPAIGNS FOR MAXIMUM PROFITABILITY:
    ____________________________________________
    5 Tips For Increasing Your Google Adwords Quality Score | Save Money on Your PPC Ads: • 5 Tips For Increasing ...
    5 Ways to Make Google AdWords More Profitable (Improve Your CTR!): • 5 Ways to Make Google ...
    ____________________________________________
    That way, as we release more content like this, you'll get notified. So the first thing I want you to do is create in-depth remarketing audiences. Did you know that the click-through rate for remarketing is roughly ten times higher than traditional advertising and CPCs cost are roughly two to a hundred X less? That's a huge difference. Not only is remarketing aspect super important, but adding detailed targeting to remarketing efforts makes it all better in terms of spend and conversions, AKA, you'll get a better bang for the buck. So set up campaigns for people who have already been to your site more than one time. When you do that, that means that audience is already interested in your products or services. So when you target them, they already got to know you. They're much more likely to convert.
    The next thing I want you to do is focus your efforts on longtail keywords. When it comes to generalized keywords, they're very competitive because everyday marketers want to go after them just because they have a high search volume. But they don't always drive the highest quality of traffic.
    Start off by going more specific and going after longtail phrases because you tend to generate more sales from that, and in many cases, those keywords have a lower cost per click even though they can make you more money.
    The next ting, you shouldn't be afraid of using exclusions. Exclusions are a great way to find hyper-focused audience that's more likely to convert and give you a bigger bang for the buck. So let's say your audience doesn't fall into a category with people of high income. You can exclude people with higher income. It really is that simple. There are a lot of different targeting elements with Google Ads and also Facebook Ads.
    The next thing I want you to do is test different locations. Create audiences based on a location is one of the easiest ways to create a segment. I can't even tell you how many people just use the default settings, but this is a big mistake. Now, there are three ways that you can target location in an ad campaign.
    One, you can go after a location-based keyword. Two, you can geotarget to a radius on your ad segment, or three, you can do both.
    You want to try a mixture of all of them to see if you can generate the most sales. And when you do that, you'll weed out a lot of people that were never a right customer for you in the first place.
    Next, I want you to add extensions to your ad. Adding extensions is one of the most sure-fire ways to get more clicks because they take up more real estate and the serves.
    Next, I want you to implement UTM tracking. Tracking campaigns and their performance is incredibly essential to running an ad campaign strategy. Look, if you're not tracking the performance how do you know what's working and what's not? Using UTM codes is a great, easy way to keep track of what's doing well and what's not.
    You can easily track the performance of any of your campaigns in Google Analytics. You don't even need to be a developer for this.
    Next, I want you to start running ads on your competitor keywords. This is one of the most simplest and practical ways that you can see a really good ROI.
    Using tools like Ubersuggests, you can see all the keywords your competitors are ranking for and are getting traffic for.
    00:00 - Introduction
    00:44 Hack 1 - Create In-Depth Remarketing Audiences
    01:27 Hack 2 - Focus Your Efforts of Longtail Keywords
    02:45 Hack 3 - Don’t Be Afraid to Use Exclusions
    03:19 Hack 4 - Test with Different Locations
    03:55 Hack 5 - Add Extensions to Your Ad
    04:23 Hack 6 - Implement UTM Tracking

    Amazing tips as always Neil. I've always struggled with Google ads, mainly as I find them so expensive and find just gaining organic traffic through SEO of often the better option. Thanks for the great content, Neil! I love when you post more about CPC and Google Ads and I thought I'd reach out to you in regards to a PPC task. So basically the question is how would you structure a campaign if the objective is to drive as much visibility as possible vs if the objective is to drive the best ROAS possible. So the first campaign should be for research as I envision, and at the ad group level should be structured according to categories/brands (We are talking about a beauty/cosmetics store here). Since buyers are early in the funnel we will use broad type keywords and broad modifiers on a CPC Manual Bidding. Then we can take most performing keywords and put them in another campaign (best ROAS) where we bid more aggressively with Target Roas bidding and use exact match keywords type. That's how I would understand structuring this campaign on visibility vs best ROAS. Any thoughts or ideas on this?
    Thanks so much for the great content you posted out there!

    • @neilpatel
      @neilpatel  4 роки тому

      Thanks, Stefan :) It sounds like you've pretty much hit the nail of the head with this one! It's great that you're targeting people at specific point in the buyer funnel.
      You should also retarget people and reach out to people who have abandoned their carts, offer discounts to get the sale, etc. That's a great way to get conversions.

    I liked this video and I would like to ask you the following question since I want to start a UA-cam channel, but I have enough time and resources to translate the videos orally and I don't know how to organize it to have a good SEO:
    How about the model for languages that consist of creating 3 videos with the same content in different languages, uploading them at the same time in a single UA-cam channel and specifying the URLs of the translated version everywhere so as not to confuse the viewers? I´ll use playlists too.
    Also, I would include translated titles and descriptions so as not to confuse the viewers so much and at the same time. I would quickly include manual subtitles since I previously write the videos in articles and that can be uploaded so that UA-cam automatically places the words with what is mentioned in the audiovisual.
    The languages in which I can create them, besides English, are Spanish and Italian.
    The option of uploading videos in only one language and adding subtitles has been recommended, but I do not feel completely satisfied, since speaking in a video is going to be a better idea than just reading texts.
    I like the option of uploading everything in one place, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea.
    Some channels do it and here are the examples. Please, check them to know about what I´m talking about:
    1) Dr. José Guevara
    2) Inner Integration
    3) Transylvanian Hiker
    4) Davide Travelli
    5) EveryDay HoliDay
    It is worth mentioning that I have been looking for a lot of information about this and some defend one model and another, so it is difficult for me to make up my mind and I would not want this to have negative repercussions in the future, because sometimes you think that people are going to react in such a way and then they react in ways that you did not expect.
    Do you think that it is better to upload videos in different languages but with the same content on separate channels or a single channel and organize them into playlists?

    • @neilpatel
      @neilpatel  4 роки тому

      Hello friend,
      The best option here is to create multiple UA-cam channels, each for their own language. For example, I would have my Neil Patel channel, which is english. Then Neil Patel Spanish channel, then Neil Patel French channel, etc.
      Then you can post your content for those languages on those specific channels.

    • @thevirtualpyramid
      @thevirtualpyramid 4 роки тому

      @@neilpatel And what do you think about a multilingual channel with the same videos in different languages and at the same time, creating more channels to reupload the same videos in the respective languages with a few changes to avoid duplicated content?
      I mean a global multilingüal channel (organizing it in playlists/sections) with the model that Dr. Jose Guevara and Inner Integration use (this model for them was useful because they have many followers) and at the same time, upload again that videos in channels per language.
      For example; I can speak 3 languages (English, Spanish and Italian) and I am thinking about creating a global multilingüal channel (using the models that are used by the two users I mentioned before) in which I would like to upload the same content orally translated in 3 separate videos specifying everywhere the URLs to the translated versions and at the same time, creating 3 more channels to upload the same videos, with the difference that they´re only in their respective channels with their specific language. And, to avoid duplicated content, make some edition on the video.
      It´s more work, but will that bring more traffic?

    • @neilpatel
      @neilpatel  Рік тому

      Use the "Target CPA" bidding strategy: With Target CPA bidding, you set a maximum cost-per-acquisition that you're willing to pay. Google Ads will then automatically adjust your bids to try to achieve your target CPA. You can use this strategy to ensure that your conversion keywords receive a larger bid.
      Use the "Maximize conversions" bidding strategy: With Maximize conversions bidding, Google Ads will automatically adjust your bids to try to get as many conversions as possible for your budget. This strategy can be a good option if you want to focus on getting more conversions, even if it means paying a higher cost-per-conversion.

      Vinod Trivedi blog definitely is not dead. Among vlog , blog and podcast blog is the best option. Vlog is board the best way to do vlog is you have an audience first and podcast offers little discoveries. While blog you can do SEO marketing targeting long tail keywords to get traction.
      It is given you don’t spend any money on getting traffic.

    Hi Neil, I have a one year old ecommerce website in a very competitive area (fashion). Let say on the very competitive keyword "red evening dresses", I have a page far better than the number one, with every metrics at least twice better than the number one website. Do I stand a chance to outrank the high reputation website?

    • @neilpatel
      @neilpatel  4 роки тому +1

      There is definitely a chance if you keep building up your domain authority over time! Try going for longtail variations of the keyword as well :)

    Hello Neil, I have a question regarding affiliate marketing ,sorry it's not about the topic in the video, but I want to know so asking.
    While mentioning our affiliate links on our sites ,Facebook, insta etc is it mandatory to write (Affiliate link) or something like that , next to products link, which would specify that it's a affiliate link.
    As I have read on the web regarding it that it's a federal Trade commission requirement.
    If I will not right something like that near to my affiliate links is it illegal ?
    Pls help me.

    • @neilpatel
      @neilpatel  4 роки тому

      Yes you must disclose that this is an ad/you're making commission off of this post.

    • @neilpatel

      How often your ad gets delivered to your audience is dependent on the daily budget. How much you will spend is dependent on CPC.
