I have a cousin who ran a successful business and employed people for 40 years in California - due entirely to the constant increase in restrictions and taxes he simply CLOSED DOWN and is NOW in EUROPE running a new business and employing people - he is successful again.
People who are making 25.00 an hour at a job for 10 years just got screwed.
Adjustments, Inventories yet to be reconciled.

It’s almost like we’ve been telling y’all this for over a year… if you increase minimum wage prices will go up…
A lot longer than a year. Remember the Fight For 15 controversy from the last decade?
Minimum wage workers: Yes, I want higher minimum wages!
Small Businesses: Bye Bye.
Also Minimum wage workers: 😮
That's what happens when government doesn't follow supply/demand rule. Forcing wage to go up without increasing labor's competitiveness is like printing more money without producing more goods, both lead to higher inflation
A pay raise then their rent will get raised.
Yup.
Lower The The Tax They Take From Pay Checks Instead of $20 an HR
20 bucks an hour..for pouring coffee...BANKRUPTCY WILL BE LIKE WILDFIRE
This is a reason why it's bullshit for enployees to have to provide a 2 week notice when companies' don't do it.
See how far that gets you Gen Z'er.
Who said you have to give a two week notice? Are you their slave? Just walk out with one finger up and call it good.
