One point, On Constitutional Reform, Lib dems specify that they want STV on the manifesto on their website. it says: Ensure no politician can take you for granted, by introducing proportional representation by the Single Transferable Vote for electing MPs, and local councillors in England.

That is what I, as an Australian, have been screaming at the US and UK to implement for the past decade. FPTP is grossly undemocratic, and makes it incredibly difficult to elect minor parties. As an Australian, I don't have to vote for the least bad of the big two parties for my vote to matter. I vote for my minor parties of choice first, then my major party of choice, then all of the other minor parties that shouldn't be allowed to run a lemonade stand, much less government.

I can fairly blame the establishment in both the US and GB for all the poorly thought out policies there, but every time we get poor policy here in AUS I can be justifiably dismissive of people who complain, because they have the opportunity to back minor parties every election cycle and just don't.

I'd prefer something similar to the additional member system like we have in Scotland (although I would take any PR over FPTP). I think the best way to implement it would be a ranked choice constituency vote and then a proportional top up system at the regional level.

the oil firms will just pass on the costs to consumers. like they did with high oil costs in 2022. you can be sure that oil and gas wont lose, just the people that rely on petrol to get to work, or gas to heat their house. Same with the banks. BOE will hold intrest nice and high for an extra quarter to inflict pain on the population.
Our entire tax code needs descrambling. The UK tax code is 10 million words and 21,000 pages. that's about 12.5 times the number of words in the Bible (800,000 words). The Hong Kong tax code, which comes in at 276 pages, is about 70 times smaller or 1.5% the size. International tax lawyers generally agree that it is the most efficient. fewer loopholes means less wiggling out of tax.

In my opinion it is one of the most pressing matters of modern times and affects pretty much all aspects of life from NHS wait times, to house prices and even in some cases violent crime. Not only does ignoring immigration levels mean all these issues are only going to get worse but more and more people are going to keep dying in trying to cross the channel. There is nothing wrong with letting people into the country legally as we have done in the past but that can only happen once we have gotten our net migration numbers down to a reasonable level and given the country time to catch up, otherwise I fear that nothing will ever get improve.

Stop being a corbyn cope individual. LibDems want pissant 9 billion tax increase and a little spending here and there on health and food oh boo hoo
Keir Starmer good he is further left than Lib Dems he wants national rail and electricity because he is a lefty. Lib Dems are just slightly going further to tories. Labor will go much further but corbyn won t tell you that neither will politics joe so stop reading them

If everyone had the brain to vote for the other parties we would break the fptp system

Tory turmoil was a blessing for the dems
They legitimately have a chance to be on par with labor

The LibDems have the best manifesto, going a lot further than New Labour Starmer, with the most innovative means of generating revenue painlessly, excellent environmental policies and an industrial strategy similar to Labour's, plus the most human leader.
A senior LIbDem campaigning in 5 target seats over a number of days said they could only identify 3 people who admitted they would vote Tory. Shy Tories or rare? New Statesman analysis seat by seat takes into account local factors such as Council seats and a degree of tactical voting. Their LibDem projection was in low 60's but quite possibly in the 70's.
Momentum were uncertain as to whether to support Labour or go out into the cold for Corbyn.
I will be voting Labour tactically in Banbury.

Good video, but somethings up with your lens or editing, cause every view of the presenter directly looks washed out/fogged up.

Honestly, the more I see about the lib dems, the more I think they are getting my vote.
    I'm all for it.

Solid maniphesto honestly. It's got everything I want. How they plan to reach their figures could be a bit shaky though because even if you go after the tax evaders, there's always going to be another way they can dodge. However, joining the single market of the EU will only be a good thing for the economy. The Manifesto will put off anyone wanting a net decrease in immigration, but those people are probably not going to vote Lib Dem anyway.
It's a shame I'm in a Labour predicted seat, but happy to tactically vote as long as others kick out the Tories in a Lib Dem contested seat.
