I just had my oral interview today w a city police! I passed and am getting my background checked now!
Good job.. now you can go to the “street cop” seminar where they teach you how to pull ppl over for no reason. Train you how to be a manipulative POS.. and fine hardworking ppl cuz you’re too lazy and don’t care about actually catching the bad ppl, that steal, rob and kill. Instead you’ll be pulling over an old man for a seat belt then fishing for other reasons to make his life harder than it already is. Good career choice. 👍🏻

Hey bud, just thought I'd say, your videos have been very informative. I have been subscribed for a long time now, and have had an interest in law enforcement for more than a decade off and on. Thanks to some poor life choices I have not acted on this. No felonies, never hurt anybody, never stolen anything, just a series of weed charges from about 5 to 7 years ago when I was young and dumb. I dont drink, I dont smoke weed anymore, exercise on a daily basis, and have been humbled by life time and again. Im currently working toward turning my life around with support from my family. Im 28 going on 29. I guess I needed some time to mature, and make some better choices. What Im saying is, your videos have been an inspiration to do what I need to do to get into law enforcement. The city I live in, from my own observation, needs some good cops. I hear gunshots, and sirens every night. I hear about people being hurt, killed, and robbed constantly. Not being able to do anything about it getting under my skin. I grew up here. Its sad to see in such a state. Maybe one person wont make a gigantic difference, but Im someone who actually cares about people. So this year I'm applying to my local police department. I think that having been down the road I've been down gives me a unique perspective on the reality of life. I think originally when I became interested in policing, I was not mature enough to know just what I was getting into. Despite how complex, and difficult, it may be, I am willing to put on that uniform, write reports, deal with the public, and politics, and everything good and bad with the job. Even if it doesnt work out, I still appreciate your videos and hope to see you post new ones when you get the time. Stay safe out there. Would hate to find out that you were killed in the line of duty, noone wants that.

I'm not sure how well you could make a video about it but something that helped me is getting into a professional mindset with any physical part of the job, scenarios or even defensive tactics. There is a way to be professional while fighting

He did say in one of his 2016 videos that UA-cam wouldn’t be a forever thing. He said he would give it 5 years because it’s only so much he can talk about as far police stuff. He could just be busy but I truly believe he’s slowly coming off UA-cam and I greatly enjoyed him while he was here, but we all know he has more important things to do

Always keep a cool head. It come naturally after doing this job for a while. You basically get used to it. Remain proffesional and be little over them, just dont really care about it.

@@DoeJohn67 I passed the polygraph so I should be fine. they say of all the things to worry about in the hiring process, the psych is the least of them. They're just trying to make sure you have sound judgement

Do you know of anyone that has a similar series of videos like yours that can be used by someone wanting to join the fire department? I know a young man that is taking courses to join and thought videos would help him. This young man will be a true benefit, because he can communicate with the deaf.

Hey man, im currently in the police academy in Texas, we are currently going thru arrest, search, and seizure. I feel myself getting overwhelmed with all the case law (Terry v. Ohio, Pennsylvania v. MImms, Whren v. US, etc). It seems there are so many, and some are what sounds to be the same as another. Can you go into depth on the most important case laws to know?

I think theres a good chance hes working federally. I know he was always really interested in working cases that dealt with exploitation and stuff like that, plus he was good with computers and high ranking in his department. It's possible hes working on some federal task force and his security clearance doesn't let him do UA-cam.

Police don't go by the letter of the law, but by good faith of the law, good faith doctrine or good faith exception. And remember a police officer can not knowingly violate a citizens constitutional rights, so don't play with creative writing when it comes to probable cause for any arrest or warrant, also known as, "It could have happened like that", "flowering a report" or "I'm going to teach them a lesson", because if a police officer gets caught falsifying any kind of probable cause affidavit, that police officers career will be over right then and there. The least that will happen is that officer will be put on the Brady List, the worst that happens, that officers law enforcement credentials get revoked and possible jail time.
