So some hints: Basically the way this works is that there is a few invisible barriers and two death planes. --- /_______ The whole situation looks like this the top line is a death barrier and the bottom line is a death barrier the wall is just an invisible wall. The goal is to miss the death barrier and hop over the wall to get under the higher death barrier. Line it up exactly as in the video camera down and the second the compass touches the tip top of the mountain jump and immediately angle left. It’s a really hard jump and it took me a few tries to get it but visualising it like this helped me a lot. Still works as of 3rd July 2024
I managed to discover a new way of doing this, When I did the jump I jumped a little early and my camera never changed I just fell all the way down i clipped it on xbox so I might share it one day

I found it way easier to get the timing right like this: Watch the video and the moment he is jumping, start to count seconds in your head till he jumps the second time. Do it in game now with the exact same timing and it should work :).
I can confirm this still works as of July 1st, 20024. It is a finicky jump to make, you have to do it EXACTLY like in the video. The take off angle and then pointing the camera down and jumping left at exactly the right time. It will work, but can take 15-20 minutes of practicing it.
Can confirm 06/23/24 1.2Patch this still works. This was super useful because I wanted to keep my dragon eyes on a fresh NG+ so couldn’t get to MOHG via varre quest and wanted to do the DLC asap. Took me 5 attempts.
Finally got this to work after several tries and what I found worked is to stop holding forward after jumping. I kept holding forward and it never worked, but the first time I stopped holding forward immediately after jumping, I got it.
@@favouritejay it's just trial and error I eventually got it, try varying different little things, your angle, moving directly left, or left and a little up, left and a little down, etc.
11th of June 2024, I can confirm it still works. letting go of movement keys as soon as you initiate the jump really does work wonders. after the camera stops following your to indicate you're about to fall to your death, use the snow shape below to guide you and aim for the little sharp offshot somewhere to the left of your character. took about 10-15 tries but it's doable!
It's a tough one and takes a few tries, when I first did it I probably tried 15 times before finding the sweet spot, as soon as you jump just point your camera straight down to the ground as much as possible and then as soon as the mountaintop touches your compass at the top of the screen, jump immediately left
