- In this elden ring video I've put all of the roundtable hold NPCs together as a small army led by Gideon Ofnir and had them fight all the demigods in a boss vs boss battle. Every time the team manages to defeat a demigod the respective great rune will be added to the whole team so that they can benefit from it. Furthermore, the two fingers grant 1% of hp regeneration to the team members as long as they are on the field.
According to the elden ring lore Gideon Ofnir, the All-Knowing is an aged Tarnished and the leader of the Roundtable Hold, a group of Tarnished following the guidance of the Two Fingers, hoping that one of their number might mend the Elden Ring and become Elden Lord. To this end, Gideon strove to become All-Knowing, gathering information on the Lands Between and its inhabitants, in particular the Demigod shard-bearers, who had claimed pieces of the shattered Elden Ring. He seeks the lost runes of the demigods and wants to become elden lord one day.

@@_Sami_H I think was not the waterflow that made it unfair, because they could just stun-lock her to death. The transition to the second phase, however, kills everyone. Scarlet Bloom has a higher damage potential against AI because they didn't know how to dodge it properly, despite being the most telegraphic move

Basically Gandalf. Warned the party that they didnt have the level to tank Moria and had to risk death to maybe beat the secret boss(Balrog) they got by confirming 20 on the encounter roll.

I was kinda confused why yura was in this since he never enters the roundtable or interacts with any of the roundtable members, but he and Gideon hard carried so I don't mind
I was kind of expecting the end to have a "SIR GIDEON OFNIR, THE ALL KNOWING!" edited in at some point.
Jokes aside, it's almost a bit tragic how this shows that if banded together, the roundtable hold potentially could have taken the throne under Gideon's guidance.
And remember, most of them where doing their own thing, meaning that they weren’t really looking to get stronger.
Rather they are mostly static, or aren’t properly trained. (DIALLOS)
Or just teach your daughter to full tank and coryn to full commit to buff and heal and ditch everyone else.

@@aridbreeze8613 yeah because she slaughters any AI, but we've seen plenty of NPC summons in boss fights who are scaled enough to suggest that -lorewise- at any point, four or five or these dumb*sses could have just worked together and actually overpower all the demigods.
I would have loved to see how they managed malekith. He actually is mandatory as well or you dont get into thr tree
@@hulmhochberg8129 well if we're talking mandatory fights, they couldn't have done it in this order because you need to defeat 2 Shardbearers to get into Leyndell. They'd have had to fight Redahn or Rykard without Morgott's Great Rune

Wasn’t much of a fight when Gideon alone got most bosses below half health or extremely close to death, adding a entire dnd party made the team op.

EDIT: The Elden Beast crucified him and he just walked it off. Gideon is Jesus.
That's because at that point he had more than double his boss HP total of 6.5kish, plus a one time 30-40% HP heal, and was regen-ing 2% of his HP per second. The bosses are designed to fight us, who typically cap out at around 1.9kish HP. The bosses just didn't have the DPS to take the bastard out.
It also shows how overtuned Malenia's DPS is.

@@MEver316 Elden Beast isnt burst damage, he's consistent damage over the course of the fight, not deleting a health bar in one move kinda damage output.
different forms of DPS. Malenia is frontloaded damage while Elden Beast's damage is evenly spread out if not a little backloaded.. but yeah the regen is what made that fight too easy for Gideon.

Gideon was surprisingly powerful for how easy his actual fight in game is

If you’re playing a non-stagger build he is true pain
You're also looking at a Gideon Ofnir with effects of all of the Great Runes active at once with constant health Regen from the Two Fingers.
Fight gideon with a +2 dagger and you'll feel my pain on a item randomizer run.
At rune level 1, apart from Godfrey and some other major bosses, he gave me a lot of trouble lol
The final battle was immaculate, it pretty much carried out just as it would if it were in the lore
Gideon used his followers as pawns who gave their lifes for him
The Elden Beast spammed all it's most powerful attacks in rapid succession in a burst of rage
Then Gideon slays the beast with the God killing flames

@@33GLOCK I mean to be fair. We are too by the time we get to the Elden Beast. Gideon doesn't have any of the Great Runes by the time we face him. While we could potentially have every one in the game.
They got Dialos and Coryn, that's like negative power levels...
@@33GLOCK But he killed Demigods for it. That's only fair. He can actually kill Radahn, Godrick and Morgott by himself, although Morgott isn't a guaranteed win.
Still, it shows how powerful he is. Gideon with that many Great Runes and with the Two Fingers backing him should be capable of this lore wise as well.

Not gonna lie, when the idea of the Roundtable was first shown, I'd hoped we would get a moment like that. A shame that in Game we are basicly the only one that is working towards becoming Elden Lord, it would have been nice if others were shown to also progress towards this goal and maybe even become Rivals or Comrades, that invade or join you in battle.
One major theme about the souls games is stagnation. Honestly it kinda makes sense everyone but us is stagnant somewhere.
@@ForgedinPrint That too brings me back to my issue with the Fromsoft ware games stagnating themself, by just repeating the same themes and motives over and over again.
@forged in print Bloodborne is the exception that proves the rule in this case. Everyone's trying to get more eyes and become a little Squidy One.
It makes sense with the lore since becoming a beast or weird Eldritch spawn thingy is associated with increased indulgence in blood and/or gaining too much insight, while going hollow in the souls games happens due to a lack of hope and motivation i.e. stagnation.

That was the only part of the video that I disliked, his resistance-to and recovery-from damage was just goofy.

He’s basically a walking artillery gun. All the melee guys have to do is hold the boss for a bit while Gideon sits back demolishes its health bar.

I think these "group vs bosses" videos should give the bosses higher poise, otherwise they don't get to show their stuff cuz they just get staggered.
What you are saying is obviously bias...
BUT I guess a way he could do that is by increasing the poise per NPC that he is fighting. I THINK whenever you summon a phantom the players get a poise damage nerf. So to compensate for that you buff the bosses poise based off of how many NPCs are there. That way it could still fall in line with the idea staying true to the mechanics and canon. The buffs wouldn't seem as lopsided for viewers like yourself.

@@mee091000 course it's bias. Isn't much of a fight when the bosses get stun locked for half the match and get deleted because of it. And besides, 10 NPC's warrants a little help

I gave him 3 great runes, which brought his HP to 10k but nothing more than that. Hp regen made a difference since the beast's attacks are so damn slow

@@BjornTheBear Uh, yeah, that means he was regen-ing 200 HP per second. Bosses are designed around fighting someone with an HP *total* of 1,900 or so. lol
You basically made him unkillable for any boss that isn't Malenia.
Team Gideon was very aggressive about spamming abilities. I was shocked at how effective flame of frenzy was for damage.
The Frenzied Flame incantations are actually nuts. Pure fire damage at a rapid velocity + a shit ton of poise damage.

The beast attacks slowly, so he could regen a lot of hp in the meantime.

Gideon is almost like the Supreme Strange of this group from the "What If" series, just carrying everyone else like a boss!
Next you should do the old roundtable members (like Vyke, Juno Hoslow, Vargram, Alberich, Tragoth, etc.) vs the demi gods and then the old roundtable vs the new roundtable.
This is really good. I wish I saw Mad Tongue Alberich with them, despite his banishment. Also, I think that the age of Order would have been more fitting for Gideon.
Him and Goldmask, as a couple of scholars, would probably get along and have very interesting conversations

Damn, I had asked Gideon with Nepheli and Ensha, but this is the closest haha if the whole RoundTable Hold didnt survive the Elden Beast, Nepheli and Ensha alone wont either.
Also, love that the guy Hoara Loux grabbed and powerbombed was Ensha. Poetic, considering Gideon prefered to betray Nepheli over Ensha's actions.

@@RelativelyBest If you are a strength only build you will be in grab range of the Elden Beast 100% of the time. But lets say you are a magic only build, you will literally never step close enough for the AI to consider grabbing you. Also ofc strength builds comes with building dex and all them other complimentary skills but yea do you get my point now...🧐🧐🧐 If you REALLY wanna play the game hardcore try using melee only and reaction time against them select few grabbing bosses. NO RANGE what so ever, and you will see them grab attacks that just like this guy said he never even witnessed or knew about.
