I discovered Boyce Avenue because they covered a song I was looking for. As a musician I can acknowledge that we honed our skills playing "cover" songs. Just like learning to talk, we "copy" what we hear, and play for others what they want to hear.
Congratz to Boyce for using covers to help others discover their talents. I look forward to what they do next.

Listening to Boyce Ave since 2009, i really really enjoy this cover. They do amazing things since back then, but i didn't see this in a long time and then when it hits me: This is just so raw and so pure, it's the a nice symbol of what UA-cam was about back then and also a nice symbol of what Boyce Avenue is at their core.
that guitar solo was so simple... and awesome.
It's just a shortened version of LB's acoustic solo (e.g. the version from The Dance)

I don't understand why people always say that they hate covers. While they may not be a good as the originals, a cover allows a musician to practice their art and pay homage to an artist who's inspired them and who they respect. Further, I find new versions of old songs exciting and novel. But I suppose I'll just never understand... and yes, this is a good cover.
