Hi, the song for the "coup" was "E depois do Adeus" by Paulo de Carvalho.
Mimicat and Ai Coração should be in Eurovision final and be voted to win.
Amazing performance and incredible voice. The lyrics are also outstanding.
It should win in Eurovision as won in Festival da Canção. So diferent from most of the English singed week Pop songs. Happy song and beautiful coreography.

The song you sang in your Telemoveis reaction video was written by Jose Sid. He represented Portugal in the UK as part of the group the country sent in 1998 but he only provided backup vocals.
There's a version of that same song sung by him though on UA-cam if you wanna check that out. Hehe :)

Revolution in Portugal start in 1974 in 25 april with this music "Depois do Adeus " Paulo de Carvalho was the singer. Depois do Adeus it,s means after the goodby.

The song that you mentioned at 1:50 is "E depois do Adeus" by Paulo de Carvalho, in 1974. That was the year of our revolution to democracy. the revolutionaries needed a code that went unnoticed and chose the song that went to the Eurovision so that the authorities did not discover that the revolution was on the streets. So our democracy is linked to eurovision. All our entries from the 70's had great poems, that Europe didn´t understand, and this one is no exception (there is an english version but the poem is not a real translation). I leave you the video.

@@br3menPT vou responder em português...o facto é que antes vivíamos numa ditadura e foi o 25 de abril que nos trouxe para a democracia, não o 25 de novembro...a data que comemoramos oficialmente não é o 25 de novembro, o feriado é o 25 de abril...o resto são conversas. Queres ficar com os teus factos fica...foi para isso que se fez o 25 de abril...
@@paulacaldeira2490 Se estudares mais ficas a saber....25 de abril nao trouxe nenhuma democracia. Militares não sabem nada de democracia. Comunistas e radicais de esquerda nada sabem de democracia. O 25 de novembro é que deu finalmente a Portugal uma democracia universal, directa e participativa. Quem alega que o 25 de abril trouxe a democracia ao país são os pouco estudados ou carneiros manipulados pelo poder político. É como te digo estuda mais e melhor e ficarás a saber. O resto é cultura panfletária

You meant to react to the Portuguese songs that ended in top 10 at Eurovision? Unfortunately and very undeserved that only happened in: 1971 9, 1972 7, 1973 10, 1979 9, 1980 7, 1991 8, 1993 10, 1994 8, 1996 6, 2017 1. What was strange that the top song of 2008 that ended 2nd in the semifinal finished 13th in the final.
