She probably leaned more conservative early in her career (hence her not wanting to speak out about politics back then) but she's been hanging out with Hollywood types for so long that she turned to the dark side.
Also I don't agree about her mom's looks. One thing I've found is that women who become public figures (TV, artists, etc) usually take better care of themselves over the long run and tend to stay in shape / hotter for longer because their livelihood depends on it. She'll probably look more like Madonna than her mother when she turns 60.

That part about her mom definitely made me laugh. It continually stuns me how poorly 95% of women age. I'm almost 35 and when I go to bars/clubs and run into women my own age...every single time they say something like "oh honey you are way too young for me" because they think I'm 24 or 25. I'm not kidding...when they find out I'm the same age as them they literally get offended and usually exit...because they are so stunned at how bad they look compared to me for their age. I think they feel super self conscious so cant imagine dating me.
As a 46 yo man that consistently has people guessing I’m in my late 20’s.. this is definitely true. Women love to be around guys that don’t make them feel self conscious. This is one of the big reasons women in their late 20’s and early 30’s love dad bods. Cause they fat and they don’t want a man to make them feel inadequate.

My wife started getting into her music around the time that she first cheated on me, and then continued to listen to her music for the follow 2 years while (unknown to me) she was cheating again a couple of different times until she eventually left. At the time I dismissed it as just a phase, and maybe a bit of a mild midlife crisis that she was trying to relive her youth or something. In hindsight, it feels a little more sinister and I wonder what seeds it planted in her mind, or whether it was just a symptom of what she was already feeling. Perhaps it was even her subtle way of hinting to me that she was unhappy. I don't know. All I know is, I was too dumb to get the hint until it was way too late.

I’ve listened to some of her songs and the one song that really sticks out the most is “We Are Never Getting Back Together.” She is completely bashing the guy throughout the song. If you’re going to be writing music about your boyfriends then you better expect the pool of high quality men to dry up. It’s not even funny, it’s quite horrendous. I don’t think she’ll ever settle and take orders from a husband or boyfriend, because she’s always got to be in charge.

As a dad who’s Swifty daughter has been a fan for 15 years, the answer is simple: She has a supernatural connection with her fans few artists can match because they know Taylor “sees” them. It’s not about “breakups “ per se. She’s also incredibly kind and communicative with fans. I’m not a huge fan of her stuff, but her songwriting is hugely underrated.

A while back I was in the car with my friend, the radio was playing one of her songs and I was like “wtf is even that, is that even a song” her songs are so weird and demonic not gonna lie
I can personally attest to the observation that women end up looking like their mothers in later life. I'm in my mid-50's now and have over the past decade been attending a few school & college reunions and have also moved back to the neighbourhood where I grew up, so I have had the opportunity to observe literally dozens & dozens of middle-aged women that I grew-up with, dated or knew socially in my teens & 20's.
And without fail, almost every single one of them now looks exactly like their mothers did back in the day, even though they often didn't bear even a passing resemblance to their mothers at the time. Whether their mothers were overweigh/obese, fit/thin, had aged well/not well, had good posture/bad posture, health issues etc these now middle-aged women currently eerily mirror what their mothers looked like when I knew them 30 or 40 years ago; comparing photos of them now side by side with old photos of their mothers at the same age, it is usually quite difficult to tell them apart except for clothing and hairstyles and you often think that you are looking at the same woman. Funny thing though is that when it comes to dudes and their fathers, this corelation is not so much for some reason.

I live in woke Melbourne Australia, Swift performed her largest concert ever here last night in front of 96,000 people (mostly women). Many of them would of bought expensive tickets for seats from where she would look smaller than an ant. There were also many people outside of the stadium that couldn't get tickets just wanting to be near her, what I found sad was that many of those outside the stadium were middle aged men. I think The Democrats will use her clout to push the Biden vote and women being women will follow like sheep.
The whole Melbourne thing was embarrassing.
She was promoted (advertised for free) on every major news station & morning show for weeks.
From ticket sales reporting, her arrival, her movements, the merchandise, the shows & her departure. Police escorts, special airport arrangements.

I read the book 48 Laws of Power and now typing my highlights into a file and will be sending chapter notes to my 22 year old son in an effort to increase his wisdom and understanding of the power plays people do, how to use as well as how to avoid being played.
