Gilles wasn't able to win any WDC's before his fatal crash. Also Kimi doesn't want Robin to start race car driving but I doubt that he would stop his son if Robin wants to race.
I think the next F1 father and son champions will be Michael and Mick Schumacher but I don't think Michael will ever be able to drive again.
Sad that we probably wont see mick and Michael....
i wish Michael Schumacher would recover so Mick can do this too
I think he will no longer be able to drive, but obviously I hope that one day it will be possible for him to drive that fantastic Ferrari one more time
@Nnaemeka Omeruo Michael hit his head on a rock during a skiing trip. This was a while ago now but Schumacher isn’t what he used to be anymore.

I have to confess before knowing Nico and watching his channel, I judged him a playboy...that was my first impression and I was sooo wrong.

these early 80's Williams were amazing....beautiful cars
1982 was one of the most incredible seasons in F1 history. The height of ground-effect, and the rise of the turbos, made for a grid of truly unbelievable machines. A championship battle that went right down to the wire, with so many different drivers taking wins (Keke himself became champion while winning only one race!). And of course, the tragic loss of one of the most iconic legends of the sport, Gilles Villeneuve, the champion that never was.

Nico is so gregarious, has a such a contagious joie de vivre. He is interested in everyone and enjoys connecting with people. You can see how everybody is lifted by his presence. It is beautiful to watch.
As a fan of UA-cam and f1 I feel that what you're doing for the sport and this platform is amazing! Loved seeing this, loved seeing the formula e thing, the recent content has been off the chart!

Fantastic! Keke was my first driving hero when I got into F1 at the start of '82. As a Williams fan ever since, I followed Nico both with the team then with Mercedes. Seeing them in FW08 & W07 was so special. Seeing them enjoying it so much was priceless.
He actually comes across as a nice guy, and how beautiful is his wife!!!! Lucky man

Wow. Such huge difference in those two cars. Keke was an amazing driver in his time. Always attacking. Late in his career he suffered badly because limited amount of fuel did not fit his aggressive style of driving.

Beautiful! What a wonderful moment having these two champions together. I love the new high tech F1 cars but there nothing more special, more emotional, more visceral than a ground-effects Formula 1 machine.

Thanks for helping Robert. You did awesome job for us. I am very proud to see polish driver again in F1. I hope that Robert back to F1 as full driver. As all we see Robert have very good times on track, soo we will se after season what gonna happen next. Nico, find another job for him. Everyone know that he is very good driver.
If the current 2 drivers don't get their act together I feel we might see Robert in the car sooner than a lot of people think. The only realistic chance Williams have of getting any points at all this year is to put the fastest driver they have back in.
Braveheart yea, we will see. So pirelli tires test will be soon, I think Robert will drive this day. Williams should take Robert. But look - Sirotkin gave cash to Williams for driver seat. Stroll the same. My conclusion is simple. The true driver is Robert. Another drivers are only like kids in lunapark who paid for drive.

Nico- you have a very good life that is wholesome and can be proud of and this is obvious in the video . A father who is proud of his son, a son who left F1 as a world champion & then making sure you are still engaged by connecting with fans and making great content. Sometimes it is not enough to win, it is also great to know when to make the exit - and you couldn’t have times it better! Keep this content going !!

Agreed. He makes the best driver content I've seen. Nobody else shares so much and or is in a position to share so much in the current day and age. Brundel is always pretty good, but he is getting out of date and we want some modern stories shared too! Nico is giving us that.

When saw nico on the track two years back very sincere and focused I have to say he was a bit like always worried and cause it’s a lot of pressure on track. But now to see him all happy and relaxed makes me like him even more and shows how cool he is off track. Great job nico and love your videos

NICO, through youtube got to know you better than you were in F1 so differently you are a very nice person. I got a slightly different impression when you were in F1.
Many years ago I watched Niki Lauda and Alain Prost and always got the impression Lauda was arrogant and Prost was a cool guy. Then I read their autobiographies. Boy was I wrong, totally the opposite. Later history with Senna and the French run FIA showed Prost to be what he really was.
I think we're all a bit guilty of judging the drivers personality as a whole when in reality we have very little information to go on and they're acting under the utmost pressure in what is the pinnacle of competitive motorsports rather than a personality contest. Usually it says more about our own prejudices and preconceptions than it does the actual drivers lol.

Nico finally became a world champ when he stopped acting like a gentleman and started acting more like a selfish F1 driver hell bent on winning. Something I think he learned from partnering Lewis.

Nico should have driven his Dads car then we could have seen how good he really is or isn't. Nice to see the 2 of them on track together must have been an awesome experience for them both.
Well they didn´t go for limits surely but just for the sake of their opinions it would have been fun if they had swapped cars. I´d assume the bill for a lap at Monaco with these cars is such that even people with incomes at the level of F1 champions get bit queasy so that´s probably why they didn´t do more of this.
