I appreciate your growth through the whole video and how you showed us how to perfect this process. Well done and explained. 👏🏾 👏🏾
Thank you so much my dude. I wasn’t an expert at this so I reached out to people that I seen do an amazing job and tried to emulate them.
I had them 11’s back in the day wish I still had them for my 11’s collection…nice work 💯💯💯💪🏾💪🏾
Thanks for this GREAT vid. The BEST I've seen so far. You are very DETAILED and I love it. Thanks so much. You are the only one that I've seen use Salon 50 vs Salon 40...is there much of a difference. Thanks and Aloha from Honolulu, HI
To be honest I just tried the most potent out of the salon cares. Never even tried 40 yet.
You can see the legitimate and Effort in this video these are the types of videos that deserve views👏
Thank you dude. I really appreciate the kind words. And yes this did take days to film and edit.
Wow so cool and so much dedication to the process. Thanks, i have a pair of Adidas that looks the same and i`ll try.Super job you did!
Thank you!
Was great working with you man. Glad to see my tips and advice being put to good use.

Great video man, I been cleaning my soles for years but this clearly seems like the best product. One time I forgot they were out back and some of the shit slide on to the front toe box on triple white 3s and it ate the white elephant print, literally took a chunk out 🤦🏼♂️ they're ruined
That’s why I’m extra cautious with this sauce. I first started with sea glow and that burned my hand when I had it on so I don’t trust leaving sauce on anything that it shouldn’t be on.
Hello, Have you tried with baking soda solution?.. It seems like has some results with that.
This worked perfectly on a pair of Jordan 6 Infrared's. Nice thrift store find about 5 months ago - throughly cleaning exterior and interior...First round of icing in mid spring with a so-so Sun UV in the Northeast worked. As the spring moved on...into late spring. UV went way up, SC 50 worked much better! Took a few sessions, but totally worth it!
One thing I personally recommend, GLOVES. One small drop of the S.C. liquid on your finger, you will feel the burn hitting. (just run it under cold water!) Just wear the gloves when applying..also removing the cling wrap to prevent this contacting your skin.
Man good point. I hate getting that stuff on me. It burns really quickly.
@@FeelgoodThreadsWhere can we get the Salon care 50 ?

3 more sessions and they’d be back to complete ice like they just came outta foot locker! Good work g 👌🏻
I think they’d be hella close. I just got tired of doin it lol
Was looking for a way to brighten my Cool Grey 11’s and found this video, as a hairdresser this made me laugh and I have all the supplies I need, I will say it’s the heat that makes your developer lift, not the actual sun-after you apply Saran put a layer tin foil over(to conduct more heat), I bet it’ll lift quicker and brighter! On a cloudy day you can probably just use a blow dryer-I’m gunna try tonight!
did it work?
Thank you for the insight and lucky you didn’t need to buy anything lol
Inquiring minds would love to know if this worked 🫣
Did it work smh

Yo what would you recommend for the air jordan 2 low offwhite when trying to add to the exposed mid sole effect?
Tbh on all my 2000 11 I just remove the sole(not mid sole”) when I icy them . I had to learn the hard way, my sole fell off during school one day. My ass ended up on world star somewhere
Man that’s some real world star right there lol
Yo the sole on my space jams came off. Should I take both off ice them then glue them back on or glue them on the ice em?
Did the soles warp at all after lots of sunlight?
@@dogcat4020 I still havent done mines yet
@@dogcat4020 nope!
Having used that product to lift color from dark fake hair ........that was my business. A steamer.......yeap a clothing steamer works super fast.....and blast the level of whitening up more than a few notches. Blast the steaming top to bottom..........amazeballs.
Do you steam it with the Saran wrap on and it doesn’t melt?
I just started doing this on a pair of wolf grey 3s I’m restoring and I accidentally got some salon care 40 on the midsole and I didn’t notice so when I brought it back from the sun there was a big patch of paint missing 😬😬😬 stuff is really no joke
How long do you leave it under the uv light?
It won’t matter if you get it on the midsole. The sauce itself doesn’t cause sole separation it’s the heat. If it reaches over 115-140 degrees f. You will risk some separation. But over all it won’t really hurt the midsoles if anything it can help. Obviously don’t over do it but it won’t hurt if some gets on there. I have to upgrade to salon care 50 I’ve been using salon care 40
Thank you for the info! I figured that out now by experience since some got in between the sole an midsole and that w a combo of heat is no good.
will it work on a yellowing transparent part of Dior b23 , also will it damage shoes ?
Ay bro, it's winter in south Africa right now. Would a mini heater work instead of sunlight?
What if the rubber part is red instead of white would the treatment effect the red ? For example like some cherry 11s
Can I use a plow dryer to fry it faster
My anniversaries are getting some oxidation on the fabric part by the laces. What do I need to do about that to get it back to normal ?
Some people use oxiclean and soak the laces in warm water.
is it good to leave shoes in window sill? instead of really outside if your room gets the most sunlight?
Yes
sweet results
Great video bro
Thank you DB
The solution on the pods will strip the grip and make it smooth
Yeah that’s why I always put tape on it so it doesn’t burn it
I have 20 Volume creme developer. Will it work?
Can haircolored solution use for yellowish sole?
What kind of shoe cleaner did you use when you were washing off the salon care 50 after the session
That was Angelus ez cleaner
It's fall in ny here and the sun is kinda meh. Is there another way to do this? I have a bearded dragon and he requires a UV light that replicates the sun's UVA and UVB. Was wondering if that would work? Or maybe just a regular spot light lamp or nah?
That’s a great question. I teach you how to make an indoor set up from home and you’ll never have to worry about whether there’s sun outside or not.
I got a couple questions bro. For the sessions how often should i do them like once every day or after 1 session i clean it off and do it again until the sun os gone? Also should i put the cream on the purple rubber of the Jordan 11s retro concords.
I try to get in as many sessions in one sitting. I also teach how to make an indoor set up that you can control when you’d like to ice them out. And yes, clean off completely then redo
Purple rubber don’t do. They are the traction pods and can become slippery.
I use salon care 40 and plastic wrap and I've cleaned them before and after and my shoes have a really bad squeaky noise ive tried to clean the bottoms with acetone goo gone literally everything they are still sticky idk what to do
my 11's do that too . just make sure to buy some liquid wrench lubricating oil for $5 - $10 and spray it in the inside of the shoe from the back to the front . take the soles things out first and when you are finished put them back in the shoes so your foot isn't standing on the oi . hope this helps !
what’s the max time per session
Great video
Thank you!
Tried this last summer multiple times on my cement 5’s and seen a little difference but nothing much. Used salon care 40...maybe ill try again when the nice weather comes back. One day someone will come out with sonething new that works guarenteed and they’ll be a sneakerhead god
Man I hope so too. Maybe doing a few sessions when’s it’s really hot outside will help.

Have u ever used this for side netting/ mesh on like some 5s?? Cant find anyone doing anything successful just keep heard bad stories of em yellowing more or mesh cracking😭
I feel you, the mesh yellowing suuuuucks,I always resort to getting them painted now any color when that happens, but ruins the OG look, but revives the whole sneaker especially if the rest of the sneaker is near new condition.

Do you guys think salon care 40 would help with the cool grey 9s bottoms?
If it’s rubber then yes it should.
Can I put that on the mesh ?
Has anyone experienced a pasty white color when using the sauce after a few sessions?
how was the product on the sole grip??did it change it or no change at all??Im just concerned on the sole losing the grip and become slippery
Everyone seems to have the same feedback. Don’t apply it on the pods and that the grip will be smoother on the icey part after this.
So how long would you recommend sessions for an old shoe in UV light instead of the sun?
That video is coming up next week bro!

How long do you leave them outside for? And I'll just use the 40 cuz I couldn't find the 50
I leave them out as long as it’s sunny.
So did you do one session a day?
Can this method be used for jordan 3 heel tabs? thanks
I believe so!!! Just be careful bc you may have to repaint the Nike or jumpman logo
Nice work
Thank you!
Thanks
Great video! How many sessions do you do in a day? 30 to 60 minutes?
I try to do as many as I can and have learned some people do 24 hour sessions even using an icebox. I show you how to make your own icebox on our Patreon channel so you can do this day, night or cold weather.
What kind of cleaner
Would this work on the soles of golf shoes? Lots of grass stains.... thanks
Possibly! Not sure bc I’ve never tried. Clean them well first
Question fam, when you use the Salon Care back to back like that for 5 days straight, have you noticed any white scoring or dry cracking in the soles? Im only curious because this is something I dont see restoration videos mention as a precaution to take. Im not sure what causes it, other than perhaps using too much solution at once. But ive noticed that this isnt an issue with the Angelos formula. Just fyi for those out there running ice boxes and DIYing it.
The Angelus sole bright is the best choice for soles because it is specifically for soles. Years ago I applied Salon care to my Yezzy carbons and lost traction in one use. I have never had an issue with Angelus SB and I do many shoes for customers.
Hey 👋 I have a question have you tried using a blow drying females dye their hair with this product we use heat to activate it I was just wondering if u could get the same results with sneakers
No I haven’t but I don’t think it’s the heat you need. It’s the UV lights
Got to have uv. Heat does nothing but unglue the glue lol
So it’s best to do in 30 minute intervals? Can you do multiple sessions a day?
I can literally get those same results or even better with my indoor setup and 2 sessions of 24 hours
when will you release the indoor method video? I went to your patreon and theres nothing there?

When your icing your soles does it have to be hot outside? or can you jus do it when it’s cold but a lot of sun?
hot or cold it will work all the sole needs is the uv rays
I think it’s more effective on a hotter day as it activates the sole sauce more.
@@FeelgoodThreads heat isnt needed that would just cause separation, only natural light or uv light
Potentially could you just use a UV light shined on the bottom?
I use a grow light which is stronger and very effective
Does this also work on the Gamma Blue 11's??🤔
Yes it should. Wont get them icy but should help bring them back to factory.
Is it ok to use tape on the areas you don't want to get the solution on?
Absolutely.
Is this the best product to use for icy soles? I got a pair of 08 metallic 5s that I’ve used Angelus sole bright and I haven’t gotten much results

I have a question I’m using a indoor setup to ice soles and do you know what a good watt light is? I’m using a 50w UV light
We just did a full tutorial on our Patreon channel on how to create a icebox with indoor set up and which lights we used with results! Patreon.com/FeelgoodThreads
The bloom Uv light witch is 600 or 1000w like the one I have is stronger and take care of it fast mostly like 3 too 5 hours each session don’t go more if you have the 1000 it will burn and unglue the shoe from what I heard of so I stay at 3 too 5 hours
@MBC TV does 50w work cause I have a 25w
@@chrisg9762 it’ll prob work but not be as effective
@Feelgood Threads thx. I bought a 25w one and I put some used metallic 5s in there for icing and after a week I did notice some whitening but it wasn’t Icey blue like I expected. Maybe I should just rely on the sun for now till I get a better uv light
Quick question, can you use salon care 50 on soles such as a air jordan 1?
That’s a great question dude. I haven’t tried it yet, but I believe you can. That yellowing is oxidation so that’s what happens to the midsole. I’d advise to give it a try and if you can comment back the results then maybe you can help the whole custom community. 🙏🏽
i iced out my cool gray 11s that were already separated from the shoe and after a few session i’ve tried to reglue them but they seem to have stretched and gotten bigger now they don’t align with the shoe to reglue any tips
Man that’s a tough one. I can’t really recommend anything bc ive never been in this situation. Perhaps one of my subscribers can help. Anyone???

So where do you get the salon care 50 at tho??

I have some legend blue 11s n the bottom is pretty bad now. if I do this will it be blue again or will it be like a faded blue or clear?
You need to make sure you clean the bottoms as much as you can before starting. I don’t know how bad the yellowing is but if these kicks from over a decade ago can then I don’t see why yours wouldn’t.
@@FeelgoodThreads ohh fosho!! thank you your the best!! mad respect😤
How long would it take for the soles to turn BACK to yellow after icing them?
Great question. Since the video mine haven’t yellowed but I know for a fact they will yellow and it’s inevitable when you wear them
@@FeelgoodThreads Been wanting to know the answer to this question for YEARS! THANK YOU FOR THE REPLY!!!!!
Make a sole protector with 3m and a heat gun. Want go back yellow.
Can it slow down or mess up the process if I put too much solution on the soles
Yes adding too much sauce where the sole is not visible doesn’t allow the light to penetrate through and clear the sole. Only add enough sauce so the sole is still slightly visible (translucent). Also too much sauce can leak down the sides and mess up your shoes.
Any different with Salon Care 40 VS 50?
Strength
Is putting a thick layer less effective?
Yes if it’s too thick and the sun can’t absorb through to the sole it will not be as effective
Those look good
Appreciate you!
this is great but i idk if I have the time to do this every day for 8 days

what is the Cleaner? How can I get the 50 with out License?

can i use heat gun instead of putting in sunlight.. can somebody plz tell me
No you need uv rats to activate the salon care. Either sunlight or a uv ray light
Yo I wanna try this but I’m afraid of separation! Is there any tips on that ??!!
Yes lighter coats on the sides, monitor every 30 mins to an hour to make sure the sauce isn’t falling off the sides, and keep them shoes in cold water when wiping off the sauce. We just made a how to make an icebox indoors with a ton of tips on Patreon.com/Feelgoodthreads
Also use some tape and make sure you tape a few millimeters of the icey part and majority on the midsole so you don't have any runoff. I've never had a sole separate and been doing this for years. Hope this helps

Does it have to be warm=hot outside;
I think it’s more about the sunlight hitting. When it’s hot outside the sun usually penetrates deeper
