The Beretta 96 is one hot pistol. As always 👍🏻👍🏻
I have a Beretta 96 compact inox. One of my favorites. Shoots 40 very well. The only plastic is the hammer spring cap. Beautiful pistol.
The round count of the Beretta 92 should be sufficient unless you are prone to missing ( esp the sweet spots ) , in which case you may wish to opt for the Glock . Many of us are confident with the Beretta and its number of rounds .
Great video. I have always loved the Beretta and have quite a few different models. My Gen.2 Glock 22 also broke the locking Block pin but continued to function normally. I e-mailed Glock and a week later I had my new pin. at the moment I only own two Glocks the 22 and a Model 20SF and enjoy them but the Beretta feels so good in my hand. Even the smaller Beretta 84FS and model 70S feel great in my hand. Look forward to future videos.
I carried a Beretta 92 for almost 10 years... Mostly because i didn't have other option, but it was fine for me.
MIKE EVANS GUTIERREZ CASAÑAS I 💘 my 92fs...first gun I bought.
I have carried a 92 fs inox for 6 years now have other options but have always felt more comfortable with the 92 and it has never failed me love my beretta
Great video as always. Isn't there a kit you can get to turn the de-cocker/safety into de-cocker only for the 96. I know there is for my Storm - which I installed and am very happy
You have to try the new 96A1. It's way better than the old FS. Plus if Mec Gar makes magazines for the 96 that hold up to 13 or 15. The 15 round mags are extended just a little bit but not that bad.
They make a 20 round mag., also , doesn’t extend below the well hardly at all . Love my Berretta’s , all my 92’s and my 96a1’s, low recoil, fun to shoot and accurate .
I thought for sure you were going to choose the beretta lol. I have a soft spot for the beretta as my first firearm purchase was the 25th anniversary edition.
That's a good comparison. The Glock 22 is Glock's best weapon ever. It just shoots the way a polymer gun should, the only reveal would be a H&K VP40. However, the Beretta 96 is just like its brother, the 92 FS 9mm, a beautiful piece of fine machinery. Did you do the D-spring upgrade for shorter trigger pull?
G22 has been my everyday carry for over 10 year I ageee best Glock out there in my book
the Beretta m9a3 is on my Xmas list for this year. hopefully during Xmas sales this year, I will be able to find a little deal.
Love it when you guys bring out the old Beretta 96 Inox. I wish Beretta still made the Brigadier 96 !
You guys should do a review on the new Meprolight FT Bullseye Sight. :>)
Very nice! I've never seen a 96 Inox before. Hope all is well boys!
Nice shooting there sir especially one handed
Get an older 96 and modify it ...the original 96 has replaceable sights (and a steel trigger) Love mine.
FYI: Mec-Gar makes 13 and 13+2 shot magazines respectively for the Beretta 96 and you can have the front sight drilled for Trijicon sights. I run a Wolff 16 pound recoil spring in my 96.
That's right. I've found that it's better to run a heavier recoil spring that is at least 4lbs heavier than the factory setting. Mainly, because most factory .40's run the same lbs recoil spring as they do in their 9mm version counterparts.
My 96a1 came with 3-15 round mags. for my gun
Great video, as always.
Hi Justin! Hope you are doing well. My older son was involved in a car crash...... he is OK, but at 21 he does not know how to deal with the body shops and the insurance companies etc. Lucky for him I was on the title of his car with him so I am dealing with all that crap, as he continues to go to college. Being a good dad never ends. :) Our Best to you my friend! Beretta Sr.
Yes, one of life's less enjoyable experiences! Glad to hear he's okay!
.40 S&W from a 5-inch bbl. should make for one potent Beretta!
You should see what happens from a 16 inch barrel, those supersonic Winchester 165 grain do a lot of damage to a cinder block or water jug, not quite on par with my .44 mag with a 7.5 inch barrel but probably on par with a .357 mag.
These are the two .40 that I own, Glock 22 Gen 4 LE trade in and I found the 96 at a good price on Black Friday. Both shoot great,
Good morning gentlemen. Noticed on your Glock 22 that it appeared to have a replacement Barrel in Stainless. Was there any reason over the stock Glock for this switch? I'm still breaking mine in with about 1,000 rounds down range in comparison to your older 22!!! Cracked me up!
As usual, your vid's are knockouts! Thank You
Hi Tim, no meaningful reason to switch out the barrel, the Glock barrel is just fine. Thanks for the question and for watching the channel, we appreciate it Sir.
Beretta Sr.
Which one of the two guns is bigger? In lenghth and Height?
You can easily tell that the G22 is quite at home in the hands of Beretta Senior.
I am a huge fan of this Glock 40 Gen 4. I love the sights on this one and after putting 20 Thousand rounds through my old Duty Glock 22, all that experience has transferred to this pistol..... I guess that is a little unfair to a beautiful Beretta 96..... I will keep both of them for my life time and pass them on to my Boys. That is how much I love them. Have a great weekend Sir! Beretta Sr.
You need to tell this to James Yeager. He doubts anyone who says they've fired thousands of rounds through glock 40 cal guns without issues.
trying to find a good kydex holster for Beretta 96, any suggestions? thanks!
very nice beretta
I'm not sure if you guys covered the 96A1 or not but I'm gonna have fun looking for it. Because I want one for home defense and fun of course. Definitely need a steel guild rod but no big deal.
I shot the 96A1, gen 4 G22 and a PX4 in .40. The best performer is the PX4 with 14+1 in standard mags. Very accurate, nice trigger, least felt recoil. Then gen 4 glock is very close too, an improvement over the Gen 3 G22.
The 96A1 was underwhelming. I bought it after a guy switched out the sights for night sights, and maybe it's just me, but recoil was up there and there were a lot of failures to feed. Then I shot my factory 92X and as usual it's quite the tack driver. Just food for thought.
Also the 96 had rubber hogue grips, which I don't really like, so maybe that was it. Gen 4 police trade ins you can get for $270 online.
What are your thoughts on FNS 40?
Mecgar makes 15 round mags for the Beretta 96 . They work Flawlessly . These mags will hold 20 rounds of 9mm and work equally as well . They are also flush fitting
The two handguns I carried during my law enforcement career. Started out with the 96 and then had to give it back for the Glock. Both are outstanding handguns but I truly miss that Beretta.
Cliff Chandler Thank-you for your Service Sir! 😎🥳👍🇺🇸
Beretta Sr.
The Beretta is absolutely beautiful! Fantastic gun guys. Cheers!
VERY GOOD
Long live the 40 !!!!
Il take a 40 over a 9mm any day
lol sales don’t lie. 40 is on life support
The Beretta may cost a bit more up front however, I'll always choose/take an all metal pistol over the polymer equivalent. That being said, I also really like the XDM series from Springfield armory. Their full size .40S/W is quite capable.
😯😯😯👍👍👍 VERYGOOD sudyord
Man reang mak 😁😁😁
Beretta pistols are so beautiful
Beretta always
The beretta is a very nice looking handsome gun. I love the beretta96 btw. It's also a great gun.
some people are always whining about pistol size, ive concealed, the g22 , fns9L , g31, Colt government 38 super, it can be done
Aaron Escamilla I carried a g31 for years. One of the best polymer man stoppers in my Opinion. Now I carry a 23 in the same holster. Galco king tuk for life. The more I wear it the more comfortable it gets. Talk about a quality piece of leather.
Y'all are havin' winter? It's been spring here in Wisconsin for about a week. I think there will be some payback coming in a few days.
I have the 92FS Inox in 9mm, it would be cool to get the 96 but I don't know if Beretta still makes them anymore.
96A1
I still carry my Beretta 96. Concealed. Im 6' 240 its not that hard to conceal a full size pistol
Agreed…… we are the same size. I can carry almost anything. FullSize 1911, Glock 22, Glock 21, Etc.
Did you guys get the PM I sent you ?????
Beretta has beauty, elegancy, style, class and reliability to serve unlike the cheap made plastic toys made by glock manufacturer.
Have you seen my New 2024 Beretta 92 XI & Wilson Combat Videos. I seem to agree with you on many levels.
Thanks for watching. 😎🇺🇸👍
Beretta Sr.
@@BERETTA9mmUSA yes i have watched that. Nice one.
@@grenadeonceadaykeepstheene7053
Copy that Sir. I think I really like a couple of the New Beretta 92 pistols for 2024. Then there is the Beretta 96A1 in 40 Caliber. Interesting choices.
Beretta Sr.
@@BERETTA9mmUSA yes. I dont doubt that. All metal pistols 💞
That's some sexy guns you got there sir 😍
Great video how bad is the recoil on the GLOCK 22?
I own one and to me not bad at all. A little more pop than standard 9mm rounds in my opinion. G-22 does well with .40cal. I run a 20 pound flat recoil spring.
MrBigden37
MrBigden37 I'm looking at a Glock 22 gen4 as second handgun
Beretta all day long. And all nite for me. It`s like the beauty & the beast. I`ll have the beauty. You share your life with ugly.
Good video
Thank-you Sir for checking out the video, both of these pistols are so much fun to shoot and we were happy to put them in a video together. Beretta Sr.
Glock boyz will say you can't carry the 96 despite the obvious comparison.
I am a bigger guy, and I have a Government size Les Baer 1911 on today as my EDC. The size of the Beretta 92 & 96 are easy for me 9 months out of the year. Great comment however. 😊😎🇺🇸👍
Beretta Sr.
Beretta é a melhor.....
I'm not a fan of the Beretta 92 pistols. I carried an M9 in Afghanistan. That one was eh....the mag's were junk, the pistol had seen better days, but I absolutely love the looks of the stainless steel/Inox Berettas. Such pretty pistols.
William Reese they gave you you something too wore out. I wouldn't care too much about looks on my combat gun but bad mags are crazy. those cheap assess could buy new Mags for nothing. shame on them. I had a semi worn m4 but it worked every time.
Yes I never had to use it in combat which would've been bad since all I had on me was a 9mm when I got out of my truck to fix something or to hook up to something and get the hell outta dodge lol
They're great guns when they're maintained and taken care of properly. But the DOD isn't big on PM for handguns or their mags. I used to shy away from them too for the same reason but I have one now and its probably my favorite pistol. Almost as fun to upgrade as the AR.
Beretta......show...
anybody have/use or have comment on Urban Carry holsters?
Chris Galco s.o.b. holster or the Miami vice holster . I am fond of both .
The Beretta is nice but Glock rules
I never said anything about it being a time for you (B9 Sr) to shoot with both eyes open, bc i didnt wanna sound like a troll. That said: Try a winking technique bc it allows the dominant eye to begin to take over involuntarily. I think its time for a father-son showdown with a dueling tree.
CLplusP old man is still better. I'm awesome but my dad still has long range hand guns on me as well.
gonad ballcrusher geez! Is that you B-junior? Gonad Ballcrusher, really?!
CLplusP no. I was just saying I've got the same thing going on where I'm not quite as good as my dad.
I own an old 92f that I bought new about 40 years ago and carried it for 20+ years as well as K's of rounds, so much so the blue is wearing / worn off. I am not a fan of Glocks I own the T35 and it has been back to Glock 3 times the first 6 months and still doesn't run right, I can not trust it so it's in the safe
Ping ping ping ping ping the glock says...lol
My tiny Glock 27 has 9+1 and is still pretty accurate, the recoil is a bit much but even shooting 9mm with conversion barrel it still kicks being so small.
Glock outshot the beretta...just sayin 🤷♂️...damn the looks
I say the Beretta is nice to hold not the Glock 22
Correct choice!!! If I want a Beretta hammer fired .40 make mine a PX4 storm, oops I did!!!
I own over 100 handguns, and I only keep the Best!!! I sold my only PX4 Storm about 5 Years Ago. Just to be honest to all my Viewers and Subscribers it just felt like a Chunky & Thick Pistol that was not very familiar in the hand compared to the other hundred handguns in my collection. Therefore making it more challenging to shoot and operate with confidence. That’s just my take, but I’m glad you like it Jimmy. Enjoy your weekend!
B9USA Sr. 🤠👮🏻♂️👍🇺🇸👻👋
@@BERETTA9mmUSA they need to make a gen 2 PX4 with a better feeling grip. The gun rubs great but just feels like an old gen 1 glock in the hands.
I love breeder
Hard to compare cheap plastic crap to a real metal firearm
So you're aftermarket sites on the Glock are better than the stock sites on the Beretta, so that makes the Glock better than the beretta? LOL.
maybe upgrade the sights on your beretta?
no way to do so on the old beretta pistols... Unless you send the beretta to a custom shop to have a fiber optic front sight drilled in. - YB
I'm a fan of both companies but I'll take the sexy Italian lady any day
I saw more bouncy recoil on the Beretta than the Glock.
