Just saw em' 1st time ever! 22nd june 2023 London. The first gig i've seen post plague, i had to wait for something righteous & you aint gonna get more righteous in 2023 than ZEKE!!!!
Never saw them live, hope to one day. I had a friend who had a friend that was in prison and he got out and we had a party for him, he was still in his mid 20s but spend all of them behind bars. I played Zeke's Kicked In The Teeth to a mostly lame ass music night and he came up to me and said "this is the greatest music I have ever heard in my life" and he fucking died the next morning, apparently OD'd. But Zeke was his favorite band by the end of the night, so there's that. Wow Book Your Own LIfe! I used to book bands at house shows with that, it wasn't a bad website at all! I haven't thought of that in years.
I used to follow these guys. Been backstage smoking weed at the croc with them. My housemate bought Mark's old green VW. Here's my text impersonation of a live Zeke song...."1,2,3 mother fucking 4 BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR... Thank you!!"
Saw Zeke Mk II (Marky, Donny, Mark Pierce and Sonny) a couple times in Denver in the late 90's, those were some of rawest, sweatiest shows I've ever been to, it was so fun.
Saw these guys around 1998 while they were touring on the the Kicked In The Teeth album. They opened for Jerry Cantrell in Louisville and it was the first time i'd heard of them. I was pretty impressed as was most of the crowd at the show. I remember Mark Pierce, the bass player at the time being overjoyed at the crowd's response. They seemed kinda like the Ramones on a meth binge. I mean that in the most complimentary way lol. It was fast and raw. Great show, i remember their set better than Jerry's.
My buddy put on a show outside of Aberdeen WA at the Arctic Grange and Zeke was the headliner. They were awesome and were great dudes to hang with. Good times!
Thank you so much. Love me some ZEKE👍🏻👍🏻An old buddy I grew up with who is a fellow music lover turned me on. Dirtbikes&Zeke.

Thank you for recording this. I’ve loved this band since I first heard them.
I continue to ride with Zeke. The future is sordid and bleak but I’ll get it on and ride with Zeke.
My band played with Zeke about '94. Super Sound was still on IFA. Date could be wrong but close. They already had singles out.
