I took 2 years of Italian and I am really enjoying your videos as I feel I was not focused enough during my childhood schooling. I know some verbs and articles and I know lots of nouns, but it's putting them together in sentences that natives can understand and speaking it fluently that is difficult for me. I hope to brush up on my skills. I wish my grandfather was still alive to help me. My grandfather came over on the boat from Northern Italy , vicenza, when he was 18 , joined the navy and fought in ww2 on the USA side. He went to night school and learned English and worked his ass off. He was an incredible man with an engineering mind and he passed on lovely traits to my mother and to me. I keep my Italian culture alive in my home with my husband and its something that truly brings me such joy. 🇮🇹 ❤️
