Hi Valentina, I speak Spanish, English, French and now I’m learning Italian with you. I’m interested in learning how to use the irregular adjectives like BELLO etc. Thank you, I really love your classes. 👍
I've picked up Spanish over my work career on my own and I've noticed how close it is to Italian. Many words are very similar with some exceptions. I guess it is the core of old latin?
Ciao, Valentina! I love your videos and I find them so inspirational! I found this video really helpful and was wondering if you could make a video teaching colours? If so that would be wonderful!!!
I love when u say perfetto ❤ I really enjoying and learning Italian language with full intention because of you 😊 and your teaching styles mashallha super awesome and molto perfetto 😂👌 ❤
Actually please do some more videos about adjectives because i'm Also a italian persone but i'm Little bit week about the language , i know english , french ..And learning italian
Here's the one on how to change "bello": ua-cam.com/video/RycExtHwdOM/v-deo.html And this is about bello vs buono: ua-cam.com/video/RycExtHwdOM/v-deo.html (Bravo is already on my list for future videos 😉)
Thank you for excellent lessons, delivered at an effective pace and clearly pronounced . Maybe you could do a lesson on Italian words that share the same literal meaning in English such as “ Volta” and “tempo” ( both meaning “ time” ?) but are used differently in Italian .
Great suggestion, John! I'm noting it down. Just a quick explanation so you know the difference: we use "tempo" to talk about the extention of time (e.g. "non ho molto tempo" = I don't have much time); we use "volta" to talk about single instances of times or reiteration of something (e.g.: "una volta" = once, "due volte" = twice, etc.). Hope this helps!
Haven't done that yet, but I made a video on "bello" and the same mechanism works for "quello". Here it is in case you want to check it out, Gregory! ua-cam.com/video/RycExtHwdOM/v-deo.html
@@ItalianTeacherValentina Grazie Valentina! I will look at it. I will also keep you posted if we end up with a little Valentina Mosca here (would be her last name 😊🇮🇹)
Very helpful- I really appreciated this list. Can you help with the order of adjectives in a sentence- what are the exceptions to an adjective following the noun? I’ve been told- la nostra città ha un vecchio castello’ is correct, but I can’t understand why.
Un'ottima domanda, Beverley. I'lll definitely add this to my list for future videos. Usually, we move the adjective in front for the noun for emphasis or to give it a slightly different meaning than the litteral one. So in this case, "un vecchio castello" focuses on the fact that the castle is old and it's valuable for that (as in "antico") whereas if you say "un castello vecchio" that literally means "old" as in "ruined" or "worn out".
10/28/24- New to you and appreciate your videos. Could you make a video about how and when to correctly change the gender of adjectives; bello/Bella, vecchio/vecchia, etc. Thanks again for you awesome lessons!
Ne sono felice, Michele! :) (PS: "recensione" significa "review" in italiano, ma solo per le "review" di un prodotto o servizio, ad esempio: "Ho scritto una recensione per questo libro". Quando usi "review" con il significato di "refresh, revise" allora usiamo "revisione" o "ripasso" ;) Comunque brava con le concordanze, la frase era perfetta!

Hi Valentina, I really love your videos and I do earn a lot from them, can you do a video on when is the correct way to use an adjective, in the beiggining of the subject or the end? Grazie Mille!
Most adjectives (the ones that describe a noun) go after the noun in Italian. I talk about the parts of the sentence and how to take care of adjectives in this video: ua-cam.com/video/uerysI6Ivi4/v-deo.html
Added this to my list, Joseph. Meanwhile, quick explanation: "Tu" is for "you" as a subject, eg. "Tu mangi"; "Te" is for "you" as a direct object "Io chiamo te" (not very much used, tends to be substituted by the direct pronoun: "ti" can be 3 different things: direct/indirect/reflexive pronoun. I've already covered the reflexive pronouns here: ua-cam.com/video/uJgKQ8-k13s/v-deo.html

What is “Very” in Italian?… like I wanted to say: “Very Good!”.
I am enjoying your lessons, grazie!
Buongiorno Paul! "Molto" also means "very" (so the same word can be both an adjective and an adverb). So in your case: "molto buono"
I just realized that Moltisanti literally means “many saints”. Now it all makes sense! 😮
Tutto= all
Molto and tanto= much
Molti and tanti= many
Troppo= to much
Other=altro
Ogni= every and each
Grande= big
Piccolo= small
