To be fair you need to have some deep issues to not just nope out the second you see eldritch horrors beyond you comprehension or just plain weird (Like in this case, joining a cult)
games janky-ish but man they nailed that 70's psychadelic horror movie vibe. loved it.

I bought this game on a whim last year and really enjoyed it. I just wish some more creepy stuff occured in the woods but the Lovecraftian elements were pretty neat and i enjoyed the characters interactions with each other.
I honestly wasn't expecting anyone to make a video on this game I enjoyed this game so much it's a shame such a hidden gem went unnoticed 😢
I was thinking it odd that I hadn't heard about this game as it looks great and the story is just complex and interesting as many other games Harry's covered

@@SomaShiori it has a lot of tension and lore collectables puzzles boss fights and multiple endings depending on what you do or skill tree you choose and the dlc they released is FREE
I only learned about the game from this video, which is a shame, because it looks like a lot of fun!
I saw this video when it was released and I was thrilled because it's been a long time since I watched Evelien/Gab Smolders play it, then it got lost into the algorithm before I could remember which 'story explained'-like channel posted it. Glad it found its way back to me. I thought it was a thrilling gameplay, at least to watch. It felt a lot like a fever dream, especially the final fight sequence. This was a good refresher!

I remember reading a manga about a group of spiritualists on an island figuring out wtf was going on. Turned out some ancient spiritualist lady was being resurrected, it was a mess. Fun comic. Wish I could remember the name.

I just realized that there are different endings to the game after your "main plot" section of the video. I played the game but the ending you showed seemed completely unfamiliar to me. Happy to know that now, so I can watch the other endings on youtube now.

This game was pretty good plan on replaying it again sometime. One of my first PS5 games
This game is one giant acid trip.
Played it on the PS5, it was a nice surprise one of those AA titles with potential, like Scars Above.
I obtained the Mind ending.
Maybe I should replay it.
The Monster in the Main Plot with the heads reminds me of a Tarot card art. One called the Beast of Babylon.
I think a good video idea could be on the Exmortis series. nonetheless, keep up the good work!

hello Gamingharry its a really good story with some deliciously creepy overtone of mind control manipulation cynical exploitation of vulnerable people being preyed on by spiritual vampires and psychopomps definitely an "Hidden gem" and must play , great video Narration as usual

Funny, the protagonist looks like a funny girl I used to know. Anyway, I didn't know anything about this game. As I was watching I couldn't shake away the thought that it was a wacky "hippie Alan Wake". Great great video, man.

the San Juan Islands Archipelago is a chain shared between Washington-State-USA & British-Columbia-Canada including both Victoria-Washington & Victoria-Canada; and in typical Canadian-Style every island is named as generically as possible, ie Wasp Island (has wasps), Orcas-Island, Obstruction-Island, Central-Island: not named as whimsically as, Pound-Town-Island, Emergency-Poop-Island, & Reading-the-Map-Wrong-Island.
13:06 I think they got the color of cinnabar wrong. It’s more pink and white I believe. (It’s a type of stone). Ugh aquamarine isn’t that shade of blue, it’s a much lighter blue. Their blue looks more like sodalite or lapis lazuli. The green looks more like malachite. Citrine is more of a light yellow not brown. I believe red garnet is more of a maroon color. What each might help with, I’m clueless.

If anyone cares I wouldn’t recommend it,the combat is awful. Worth it if on sale
Honestly, when I saw that Lighthouse, without you even mentioning HP Lovecraft, I thought to myself, wait, is that based on HP Lovecraft?
I've seen similar lighthouses in some of the sherlock games, in some other weird Lighthouse keeper games, and others were you travel to a remote island with a lighthouse, I think that theme has been overdone at this point and you can't quite hide it anymore that this is Lovecraft inspired.
To be fair, if it's cosmic horror, there's at least an 85% chance it's directly related to a Lovecraft story. The guy was the grandaddy for a reason.
