The world of this game sounds horrific. I don't want to live forever, neither do I want my body "repossessed" by the government, and there are enough other people out there who hold bodily autonomy as an important boundary that I don't think the government could actually pass a law to force it... but they'd probably try if they had the chance. God, I hope they never do. Death is a part of life. It's sad, but I think it's one of the reasons why taking joy in the people and world around you are important- they, and you, won't be there forever. Remember, folks- the government doesn't own you, and the government *shouldn't* own you.
Do you really own something if you cant sell it or even give it away? If someone does indeed sell their body to the government then id say that yeah the government does own them. Something being a part of life doesn't mean it should continue to be part of life, disease is part of life and yet we routinely get rid of them, death is no different, the ultimate disease.
