I watched a twitch friend play this a couple of years ago. I really dug (although could seem a little unforgiving maybe?) the perma-death character mechanic and the atmosphere and puzzles. Solid horror game :D

Thank you for another fantastic video! I always really enjoy this series; you lay out all of the details in a very understandable way, and it gives me a new appreciation for the games I learn about from these videos.
naming her ariadne is probably a reference to the greek myth. its not a 1 to 1, but ariadne was the one who gave theseus the twine so he'd be able to navagate the labrynthe, so having her be the one to hold the music box/es(which seem to be its main way to cross over to 'our' side, and get victims) is very clever! However, she could also be seen as the antithesis of her name, as she lures people into the Presence's labrynth, and then cuts them off from the 'our' side, making them stuck with it.

just noted a homage to the movie "Cocktail": behind where the cop is sitting, that a neon of cocktails, and the window has a second pink neon with "Burguers and Dreams". Cocktals & Dreams is the name of the bar tom cruise character opens in the end. (This neon was used in Thor Love and Thunder, also)
Man I always love videos from Gaming Harry. I dont know what it is. Lots of youtubers doing the same thing but you do it very good. Hopefully something new and really scary next time.
Me too. It’s realistic too, for a couple who loved each other but one fell into addiction in hard times. She HAD to end the marriage even if it hurt her to do so, but now that he’s been sober for a long time, I’m sure he’s acting like the man she fell in love with, so it’s much easier to have a friendship when he has beaten his addiction and has grown as a person. Even if it is impossible romantically anymore, it makes sense that they are still close friends after all they’ve been thru together! :) I appreciated this detail of the story as someone whose ex fiancee turned to drugs and is now recovered.
My jaw dropped the first time I watched its ending years ago. I played until ep 3 before I chickened out and stopped playing lol. So I had to watch others' playthroughs. Now I'm excited to watch the whole explanation made by you. Love your narration and voice!
I love this game so much, it’s so scary and interesting, def my favorite horror game I’ve ever played. Feel so bad for ariadne, hearing the music box as a baby so she literally spends her whole life experiencing its horrors, never knowing what life is like without it and just thinking it’s normal. Saddest fate of a character I’ve ever seen in media.
So excited for THIS video! Fell in love with the game when I watched it on CJU's channel (I'm too faint hearted to brave the game myself), and it's been one of my indie horror faves ever since! Perhaps it's even THE fave. Tops anything Lovecraft-inspired in my book.
Awesome video, thanks! I didn't see any comments but this is very reminiscent of The King in Yellow, with cursed art (in the stories it's the second act of a play) which curses those who read or see it with madness. It's definitely its own thing, and fantastic, but i can see some connections.
Never heard of this game, but i love it. It truly is a lovecraftian horror master piece and i love all the easter eggs/references to Alone in the Dark placed in this game: -Name of the mental institute "Jeremy Hartwood" (uncle of Emily Hartwood, protagonist of AoD series) -The design of Dr.Prestigod is very similar to Emily Hartwood from AoD1 -The use of some fixed camera angles inside the mansion, very similar to AoD1
I enjoyed playing this game so much I’m changing the settings to the scariest mode just to make getting all the collectables harder hehehe , thank you for the cool video
Hey, I actually played this one! Really tense playing them yourself - always keeping in mind where the hiding spots are, listening at doors to make sure you won't die the second you open them. Fun times.
I remember disliking the ending so much. It may have been a good ending to wrap up the story, but going through all that trouble just for the MC to die felt like a slap in the face.
I love these break downs~ Would like to put in a consideration of doing a Shadow of Destiny/ Shadow of Memories video? I feel like it has a good story with multi twists in it and murder. Since its to do with time travel it's also interesting from that pov.
Hay, I really like your vida, I'm a scaredy cat who loves horror but cant stand to play it so your videos give me my microdosis of horror You always manage to keep my brain engaged and entertained
This was a really good game. Thanks for clearing the questions I had. Now if I could request maybe have a look at "Realms of the haunting" ... Thank you
This game is giving me big Fatal Frame/Project Zero vibes. Which... Now that I think about it, Fatal Frame would be a good series for a Lore and Order.
Really wanted to love this game and get into it but alas I had the DL PS4 version and at one point had it glitch to where I couldn't get past a spot - it's been a few years so I don't fully remember where, I just remember researching and seeing it was an issue for other people and the team would not release a patch :-( The story from what I had gotten through was amazing, I just wish I could have enjoyed all of it.
This was the first horror game I ever watched, I loved it, and I don't know why. I haven't thought about it for years, and it's a little strange to think about it again, but I thank you for the video, anyways.
I agree with you fully on the ending. Other than being a long time fan of all things eldritch and knowing how those stories typically end, I saw that last drawing from Ariadne and I just KNEW. I don't really know how anyone could see that and not instantly realize a panel like that labeled "this is something which MUST come to pass" meant doom. But I still didn't see that *personal* horror touch coming. I was awed. It made everything that much more poignant, and dreadful. I'm so sorry, Sophie. So sorry.
I quite liked this game. I had something interesting about it, and had this chain effect, whatever happened to the other character the other character will find out or will be affected.
A brand new chapter with new lore is out with the slender the arrival remake. Do you want to check it out? They call them extended chapters, I don't know if there will be more.
So that’s why it was so familiar…Chris from CJUGames has already played this…thank u for the detailed discussion of the lore …maybe have Lempo go next as well? Maybe i missed some of the lore there
I tried playing it but got bored at the second episode. Lovecraft, for me, is always about personal horror. "I might be a fish-human hybrid", "my ancestors are evil", and "My girlfriend is possessing me". Yet, for some reason, when people make these games, the characters are third parties who go to investigate another person's horror. The game also has a loop that constantly repeats itself: walk around, solve puzzles, hide, and close doors. At first, it is fun - great visuals, puzzles that make sense, the mechanics as they slowly are revealed to you (closing doors, hiding, etc.), but eventually that is all you do on repeat. The story was not interesting enough for me to continue through that loop. I think it has other issues, but that was my main reason for stopping. I just could not see myself doing this loop repeatedly for more episodes.
Hey there, Since “Slay the Princess” finally is out in full (and I’m extremely hype over it, partially because how could a TMA-podcast fan not be?) I was wondering whether you might do a Story Explained on “Slay the Princess”, given its story is out in full now with all possible routes and outcomes. Another Game where I’m really curious about the Story is “Killer Frequency”, I’m just bringing it up because you are one of the most thorough horror UA-camrs when it comes to storylines, the amount of research and attention to detail you put in is impressive and always a delight Your channel is actually one of two that made me care for horror video games at all in the first place (I’m a scaredy cat) So, uh, much respect, best wishes, take care
This seems familiar with the lore of 40k when Fulgrim and Maraviglia performed Slaanesh song to the crowd making the people go crazy and well pretty much messed up happened.
"The Presence" reminds me of the main antagonist of the Alan Wake games. The Dark Presence. It even sort of looks like that when it takes someone. I wonder if they were inspired by that.
Maaaan this was the one horror game that I stopped playing due to a nightmare I had. 😂😂 Most horror content doesn't scare me. But my subconscious was like NYOOP!

Never heard of this game, but i love it. It truly is a lovecraftian horror master piece and i love all the easter eggs/references to Alone in the Dark placed in this game:
-Name of the mental institute "Jeremy Hartwood" (uncle of Emily Hartwood, protagonist of AoD series)
-The design of Dr.Prestigod is very similar to Emily Hartwood from AoD1
-The use of some fixed camera angles inside the mansion, very similar to AoD1
Sillent Hill Reference at 8:15 Walter Sullivan is the antagonist (or protagonist) for Silent Hill 4: The Room
This is one of the best horror games ever made and severely underrated because of how hard it is so stoked to find a video of the story!
Its always a good day when a new Lore and Order video comes out!
Fun times.
9:53 you can't fool us, that's HK-47's voice right there 😂
I remember disliking the ending so much. It may have been a good ending to wrap up the story, but going through all that trouble just for the MC to die felt like a slap in the face.
I love these break downs~
Would like to put in a consideration of doing a Shadow of Destiny/ Shadow of Memories video? I feel like it has a good story with multi twists in it and murder. Since its to do with time travel it's also interesting from that pov.
Loved this game as a fan of Lovecraft stories and Alone in The Dark games, such an experience
One of my favorite games that I’ve never played Song of Horror
Hay, I really like your vida, I'm a scaredy cat who loves horror but cant stand to play it so your videos give me my microdosis of horror
You always manage to keep my brain engaged and entertained
This was a really good game. Thanks for clearing the questions I had. Now if I could request maybe have a look at "Realms of the haunting" ... Thank you
This game is giving me big Fatal Frame/Project Zero vibes.
Which... Now that I think about it, Fatal Frame would be a good series for a Lore and Order.
Love your videos bro
Really wanted to love this game and get into it but alas I had the DL PS4 version and at one point had it glitch to where I couldn't get past a spot - it's been a few years so I don't fully remember where, I just remember researching and seeing it was an issue for other people and the team would not release a patch :-( The story from what I had gotten through was amazing, I just wish I could have enjoyed all of it.
This was the first horror game I ever watched, I loved it, and I don't know why. I haven't thought about it for years, and it's a little strange to think about it again, but I thank you for the video, anyways.
Dude you are one of the best with the deep cuts
I was looking forward to this video for a while thank you for you’re hard work
Bro this makes my day when my phone tells me that gaming harry has dropped a new video

So sorry.
Not the best graphics, animations are weak
But boy,the atmosphere,the incredible plot.
These kind of games are so rare nowadays
I quite liked this game. I had something interesting about it, and had this chain effect, whatever happened to the other character the other character will find out or will be affected.
that pronunciation of byzantine hit me like a truck lmao, never heard it that way
This game was truly amazing and I'm glad it didn't fly under your radar.
For me, its the best horror game. No necessary hide and seek or somewhat related to other horror games. Nice story too
I've asked you a while ago if you could do "Song of Horror" at some point and you did 😀😀 Thank you!
Serpent is the symbol of (forbidden) knowledge. not "evil."
Omg thankyouuu I love this game
I love this game, very fun and tense
Hey there,
Since “Slay the Princess” finally is out in full (and I’m extremely hype over it, partially because how could a TMA-podcast fan not be?)
I was wondering whether you might do a Story Explained on “Slay the Princess”, given its story is out in full now with all possible routes and outcomes.
Another Game where I’m really curious about the Story is “Killer Frequency”, I’m just bringing it up because you are one of the most thorough horror UA-camrs when it comes to storylines, the amount of research and attention to detail you put in is impressive and always a delight
Your channel is actually one of two that made me care for horror video games at all in the first place (I’m a scaredy cat)
So, uh, much respect, best wishes, take care
This seems familiar with the lore of 40k when Fulgrim and Maraviglia performed Slaanesh song to the crowd making the people go crazy and well pretty much messed up happened.
I think it's funny you can play this game as characters that don't know anything about the story going on and are semi random 3rd parties.
I listen to this while I make the hour drive to work
ngl I always chuckle a little bit when hearing "deleting him/herself" 😭
First Story Explained of 2024! Let's gooooo! \o/
Hope you had a blast during your holidays, Harry!
Hello bro
I love this kind of videos
Hope u can find another old games that have good horror stories
I've missed your opening to this series!
Omg I’ve been waiting for you to do it on this one! I couldn’t finish the game bc it was so boring and I was like, I’ll just wait until Gaming Harry does it lol. Thanks for these amazing videos.
Can’t believe this game is 4 years old now.
