  • I spend the day with H P Elderton & Sons, helping to load their Big A 2800 with their JCB 535-95 AgriPro telehandler. I also get the chance to get behind the wheel of the beast and find out more about the extensive modifications they have made to improve its performance.

I can remember being a kid on our farm near Banbury and watching one of these applying lime to a field belonging to a neighbouring farmer. The thing sounded amazing and was gunning it across the field.
    Awesome bit of kit

My favorite ag vehicle ever, closest thing to a monster truck a farm can have! road around in one as a child, loved every minute of it...

A lot of ag and plant that originates from the US uses engine oil as a hydraulic fluid. JD self propelled sprayers use it through the whole system, and CAT recommend an oil with an engine specification, but a mono grade. SAE 10w is ISO 32, SAE 15w is ISO 46 in thickness.

Thanks Jeff, I try to make videos I would want to watch. I'd love to try a hydradig, I actually think one would make a great addition to my fleet. But I have no idea how to drive a rubber duck!

Why 3 wheels? What is the advantage? Can't see how a Volvo articulated hauler wouldn't be able to replace this exotic 3 wheeler.

Im American and this is my perspective. 3 wheels is cheaper and easier to manufacture, less moving parts and so on. 4th wheel comes into affect when you need speed and stability. about the same evolution of tractors, most early tractors that single front wheel or the double front wheel on a central pivot. ATVs went the same route with 3 wheels first then the quad evolution.
