Believe me when I say you're such an underrated creator man, the duration of the videos is good enough to keep you invested and not get bored, having a laugh with your commentary haha, and thanks to mom and dad for the mic, voice is crispy clear. Scarabs, red adds more health potion, blue gives you fp potions, but the black one, those are the ones you want, just murder any that you see. Fun fact: you can warp from inside a cave when you've defeated the boss of that cave :) You are using the map correctly, mark whatever looks different then the normal terrain, could be something. The Forlorn Hound Evergaol, which I pointed out in one of the previous comments, gives you one of the best weapons that can carry you through the entire game. And you almost have the strength and dex to meet the weapon's requirements. The juicy critical at 19:34 gives you s, I don't know why it's called that, but in those frames, you won't take any damage, kind of like rolling dodge. Upgrade faith -> powerful incantations / upgrade intelligence -> powerful sorceries. I just bought the game on my PC as well, to access things in your pouch, hold E, then ^ < >, easier for horse, maybe :) Please let me know if I'm giving too much information or spoiling too much, and I will stop. I'm just happy watching your videos :) And In Elden Ring fashion: "Try Fingers, but Hole"

Don't worry about stats too much, in the early game your weapon level matters more, which you can upgrade with smithing or somber smithing stones depending on the weapon. This is because most weapons start out with a bad D or C scaling, but that scaling gets better later in the game. for now focus on getting the minimum requirements for your favourite weapons, and leveling vigor! atleast till 40 I would say. I would really advise to look up some good beginner weapons, and juts pick out the one that looks the most fun. For now though, keep exploring old areas and new areas and make markers on places you are not sure what to do! If you want to get more smithing stones, go to mines in the areas, mines in later areas give higher level stones! Other than that: enjoy! You only get this beginner experience once so make the most of it!
also do recommend to just explore caves catacombs literally anything that llooks out of the ordinary, even if you're scared. most of the times you can get your runes back with ease dont worry about getting sidetracked
Yo, so I noticed ranni wasn't showing up at the church of Elleh, she does disappear if you progress top far. So to get the spirit calling bell you have to go to the 2 creepy mummy looking ladies at the roundtable hold and buy that from them.
Scarab Tip : Scarabs that are white usually give new ashes of war which you can apply to a weapon to get new skills. Scarabs that are blue refill some of your blue flasks and the red scarabs do the same for redd flasks
Something to remember about weapons and levels; Each weapon has a stat requirement to wield them, but that is just the minimum requirement. As there is weapon scaling, which is the little letter grade next to the stat requirements. The higher the number in your characters' stats, which corresponds with the weapon requirements, means more damage from each swing.
You seemed a bit confused with the weapons and the stats things (I was really confused too first) I suggest you upgrade vigor to at least 25-30 because as you will go on, the ennemiea are going to demolish you in 1 hit For what weapons you should use, I recommend you to choose one that you like and stick to it for a bit at least before finding better. I saw that you were upgrading the strength stat, it will not necessarily improve your damage because it depends of what weapons you are using. Each of them have like 1 or 2 main stats. For example a big sword will use strength as a magic one will use intelligence or a katana will use dexterity. You can look at this in your equipment. Each weapon will have a stat requirement (like 20 strengh to be used) and also letters next to it. These letters tell you what attributes scale with it. If you have a sword with A strengh, it will deal more damage as you level up you attributes. So before upgrading any « damage » attributes , you should determine what weapon you are going to use. I hope you could understand what I’m saying to you, it’s a bit hard to explain it and I took time to understand it myself. I would love to see you get to your first major boss, you really should go to the Stormveil castle, good luck anyway!
Great to see your progressing your character. You're getting a lot better at combat too. The reason you couldn't use your magic damage negation buff was because you unequipped your seal in your off-hand. You need a seal to cast incantations.

Two handing does not increase speed, it increases how much damage you do. And the boss in the goal at 18:28 drops a very good weapon
