When you talk about 3 phase motors I am thinking that you could measure ac voltage between any 2 of the phase wires and frequency would give an indication of the speed. My reference is from variable speed inverter drive motors that are used in residential air conditioners and industrial motors. Of course you would check the inputs to the module first. I saw phase 2 and 3 labeled on diagram. Is phase 1 connected to ground? Thanks for the Videos
You could do that also. I'm gonna wait for another opportunity to make another video on one that operates and use advanced tools to check it. Preferably in my shop. This video is intended to the DIYer. The third phase is not grounded. That is a grounded shield.
CANH should be above 2.5V and CANL should be below 2.5V. The more information being passed on the CAN Network, the busier the packets, the more the average voltage will float away from the bias of 2.5V, cheers.
@DallAutoDiag Is there a special trick to getting the bracket down with the fuel module? I tried throwing a 10mm on the two most obvious bolts and it seems like they are spinning. The ones at the top and bottom of the bracket at 10:40.
Answering my own question for anyone else. You'll need an e-torqx socket set and a wrench. 10mm or adjustable. Hold the wrench on the nut and loosen each screw only a little bit with the socket. Then you can lift the bracket out of the holes.
After putting it back up I'm not sure you need the wrench. The e-torx socket might be all that's needed. This fuel control module made me stop in the middle of the road with no ability to shift to Neutral. After dealing with this stupid thing I'm going to keep a pair of wheel chocks, a wrench and a zip tie in the car. The procedure in this video is a must know for all Suburban, Yukon, Escalade owners. ua-cam.com/video/iSaPBKV9cnQ/v-deo.html

Thank you very much for using basic tools . I find myself limited to these but hopefully soon a simple oscilloscope
Which oscilloscope are you planning to buy?

After replacing the fuel module do I have to program it for it to start?
No programming needed
I have the same issue with my 21 suburban. Took dealership 2.5 days to diagnose
Crazy to have this issue with 57k miles
The blue and grey wire with the 2-3v ref
What does it mean when I don’t have that voltage on either of those 2 wires
what time on the video it is?

Sorry it wasn't me that dropped it down. It was like that when I get there but I see you got it figured.
