Hello! Been a fan for a few months now and it's kinda my first time commenting so I have a question if that's fine... Would you reccomend the controller or rather the keyboard for hollow knight?
I love how Baldur Shell is a near-useless Charm that, it turns out, is actually extremely useful in these extremely specific, absurd challenges that modders came up with themselves.
Yeah i find that extremely interesting how a community can twist a game so that a useless item becomes the saving grace in a situation if its specific enough
@@pirilon78 I wouldn't say it's op. Without baldur shell it's not going to proc much and ontop of that it's preformance is always random especially if you can't heal some. It takes great timing and 5 notches for it to be a little more reliable.

I was lurking and not paying much attention until I noticed the climb starting with so much HP and actually decent soul for once. Really lucky early climb and then my heart was pounding lol
well, learhing the radiance fight involves a few different phases: 1. die immediately on your first attempt 2. get back to the fight and die at the exact same point 5 more times - first phase of frustration 3. get to the second phase once, then die 4. repeat 2 5. repeat the previous steps for every single phase until you are in the final phase 6. die a couple more times 7. beat the fight for the first time 8. when trying to beat it again, die another dozen times before you beat it a second time - second phase of frustration 9. over hours of attempts, eventually get to a point where you can beat the boss more or less consistently 10. repeat steps 1-9 for absolute radiance - phase of total mental destruction (now the good thing is, once you get semi consistent at absrad, regular radiance will no longer pose any thread to you, so there's that :D)
i know this is a joke but if you want to see crazy shit watch the 2 tas runs of anyrad one is fury strats where its ascended and they quickly drop 1 hp on purpose the other is radiant

Try to abuse parrying as much as possible when he triple-swings at you and don't forget to jump when he is doing the spikes from the ground and only try to heal one mask when he is staggered, also Hiveblood is OP against him.
I'm currently feeling like dying after like 20 failed attempts at pantheon 3 all bindings. I did the first one first try, the second one second try, that should show you how big the jump in difficulty is. I also did a few attempts at pantheon 4 all bindings, which on first glance looks maybe a tiny bit easier, but I've yet to beat pantheon 5 with even a single binding on. Also, I tried radiant AbsRad for like 3 hours spread accross multiple days, and it's discouraging.

As for which bosses are giving me trouble, well, the collector and grey prince zote(haven't past him once, but I also only reached him three times) for P3, and for P4 I haven't tried a whole lot, but Lost kin always stresse me out in the first half.

I got just in time to watch it live. Incredible performance! It continues to astonish me how high the skill ceiling for this game can be. Also, I just love that even a god gamer falls into the abyss sometimes (2:16) lol; I always feel like such a noob when it happens to me, so it's rather validating to see it happen.

I never beat the Pantheon of Hallownest, so these videos of super hard modded boss fights have inspired me to give the Pantheon another shot and finally get all steam achievements for the game.
I have had zero luck with my pantheon of hallownest single binding runs. Every time there was some weird shit happening either in the grey prince zote fight, or in the absolute radiance fight. I mostly attempted the soul binding, seems like the easiest.
@@legrandliseurtri7495 Honestly I found Mask binding easiest, but it really depends on how you play. Also yeah absolute radiance and grey prince zote are pretty annoying.
Some addons First phase: Replace the floor with moving swords so u gotta pogo on them, diagonal, horizontal and vertical wall of lights, quicker swords, fire balls explode upon destruction Second phase: Sword rain for the whole phase, spikes on the platforms, only 3 platforms exist at the same time Climb: no platforms only vertical sword rain to pogo, two beams at once in different places, void rises lot quicker, diagonal climb Final phase: the climb phase beams continue, spickes to top of the screen And all the addons from the normal anyradiance
