This is unironically one of my favourite bosses in the game. I love the setting, soundtrack, story and overall design. My only problem is that it maintains the same problem that the base Radiance had, which is stacking patterns. 3:10 this is probably the best moment in all of hollow knight with the music fading away and the godmaster and the audience not being there
the only godseeker allowed to focus and try to ascend in this fight is that one with throne, which is maybe their most ascended godseeker?
There’s two types of Gods in this world:
People who can beat Pantheon 5
*People who can kill Primal Aspids*
Its pretty easy if they are alone
*BUT THEY ARE NEVER ALONE*
@@ionicman2908 THE ASPID EMPIRE NEVER TRAVELS ALONE
I am the sad sort that has no issues with the Primal Aspids but I suck severely at all bosses, including Lost Kin. Literally haven't managed to beat him yet.
@@carolinaassenco9242 Easily killing Primal Aspids already makes you better than 80% of players. Just keep trying and you'll eventually get it. Although, it's been two weeks since you posted it, maybe you're already out there beating Radiance blindfolded lol
@@rafaelt1772 YES! I have no more issues with the Lost Kin. The current demon for me is getting at God Tamer - wall jumping and attacking is just not a marriage that work out well with me. I finished the game, more or less. Did Path of Pain, and the delicate flower quest. Currently pending pantheon 3 because of the bloody God Tamer.
Man, that gave me so much anxiety to watch that even though I wasn't even playing it! Well done.
This is unironically one of my favourite bosses in the game.
I love the setting, soundtrack, story and overall design.
My only problem is that it maintains the same problem that the base Radiance had, which is stacking patterns.
Mind, it can be a clever design choice to make a boss harder, but sometimes it makes her attacks almost completely unavoidable.
Anyway, kudos to you, sir!
This was hands down one of the cleanest fights I have ever seen.
This helps a lot on general strategy, I'm looking to finally beat pantheon 5. I did 41/42 bosses already but died to radiance
Awesome, best of luck clearing P5!
Did you beat it?
@@JP-mr1hn I took a break, and I finally came back. I can do all other bosses but radiance is a b*tch
(not yet)
I beat it 3 days ago, good luck, you can do it
It's been 8 months but..
Did you beat P5?
Now do me on radiant difficulty!
Already did. Your so darn easy
@@gearsoftime9375 thats amazing!
*Now both of us*
the gears of time Next time no Wayward Compass
@@JustAnotherPrimalAspid lmao
Stay back demon
So you beat abs radiance on radiant and the godseeker is just like "nice job scrub, but could ya do it in the pantheon? NAHHH"
This is still probably the hardest thing I’ve ever accomplished in a videogame
I feel like the key to a good portion of fights in hollow knight is just patience... Something which is replaced with anxiety when one hit can kill instantly.
Taking something like this on Radiant difficulty takes some BALLS. Kudos to you, man.
I’ll never forget the time my friend “misspelled” absolute radiance as
Absolute racist
kinda fits tbh
Amazing. Thanks to this I beat my first Radiance and complete the game at 103%. I am content
*NOT believable* that such a tiny, cute thing could beat a monster like this.
This is just very impressive.
I beat every boss on radiant difficulty and I've invested hours and hours yet no success in beating this crazy moth ._.
Thanks! Radiant Radiance takes a good bit of time to beat. There's a lot of things that can go wrong.
I'm in the same boat!! I've got them all but this and have tried countless times
@@matthewbelloff6302 Let me know when you beat it!
I finally did it!!!! Omg!! I'm shaking lol
ua-cam.com/video/R2dcNlcHNSw/v-deo.html
y-you did radiant zote?
Absolutely the most vile thing ever conceived by a human being
I don't think I ever could of done this without abyss shriek and descending dark.
Absolute Radiant Radiance
This moth can decide where it wants to go because instead of going to a pre-existing light, it can create it's own light to follow
I like how Absolute Radiance is this massive godlike moth, while the Absolute Void is a smol bug with a pointy stick.
Well, the Shade Lord is quite a big thing.
Man, all those years of Mario, smash, mortal kombat and souls really paid out in this fight
the homing balls still makes me gasp every time they get close
You make it look so easy, I just got there for my first time (P5) and I didn't even last a minute. Her attacks seem so rapid and difficult to dodge, like the swords are moving 3x as fast when I'm fighting her than from when I'm watching this video, so weird to explain. At least I managed to get to her, now I can train on the hall until I get the mastery and beeing consistent.
Good luck!
I beat this on radiant too. I beat it one year ago. I watched this video cus i was bored, only to then be reminded of how hard this fight was. As i saw you play i literally saw myself do the exact same thingd as you and i am freaked out.
I just realized that Radiance is just that monk boss, gorb, soul master, and traitor lord all put into one
Providence, the Profaned God version 2.0
Yooo i was gonna say that lmao
Who would win?
- A literal god
- Lil’ knight boi
Dude I'm 65 hours into this fight. This is insanely hard.
Edit: Ok I finally beat it
Congratulations, I am still stuck on P3.
@@insertreferencehere.8066 Good luck on P3. Have you approached Sly? Is he the one killing you? His second phase is tough for sure. I put 300 hours into this game and a 100 of that was this absolute radiance on radiant.
@@AndroidHarris No, the best I have done is made it to Zote. I keep dying at Grimm, I have done his fight before but I just keep messing up.
@@insertreferencehere.8066 ah ok. Yeah Grimm can mess with you. Zotero is worse in my opinion but you'll get it.
this boss fight was perfectly crafted
love the background too
Absolute Radiance sounds like a really good experimental band name and imma steal it
me when i see a comically large moth
"Help I can't see behind this moth"
Godseeker 2021
"this famous hitless player... was just so good"👍
It's strange, but I had a harder time with NKG compared to Absolute Radiance and Pure Vessel combined.
Mean while NKG took me normal amounts of tries to do radiant, but absrad took me dozens of hours.
I did this one radiant a few days ago. What helped me is that I did the Phanteon of Hallownest with all bindings separatly. It took weeks but now I think I can consistently beat her on attuned while still joking around. It was the second last boss I had to do on radiant, after that I managed to do radiant Markoth and finally get the shade lord statue. Hollow knight really made me realize how good I am at videogames, I never thought I would be able to do this, but I did.
Congrats on beating Absolute Radiance on radiant difficulty!
So I was watching this until a moth came flying in my screen when the title drops.
0:43 was the time i could stay alive with full Life After beating pure Vessel hitless 💀
This is how I imagine the knight would be if I wasn't controlling him
(beats radiance in radiant difficulty)
godseeker: *STILL NOT ENOUGH, BEAT IT IN THE PANTHEON TO PROVE YOUR WORTHYNESS*
You seem like the type of person to be able to defeat a primal asphid without getting hit once
Just came here after seeing a comment from a Terraria video beating 'Empress Of Light' and stumbled upon this video. Congrats btw for beating the boss even though this video was a year old.
Absolute Radiance: *Dramatic Entrance*
The Knight: Yo how high is this sh-
The shade lord is what I see in my closet at night lying in bed, and the radiance is when you blind yourself turning on the lights at 3 AM
I like how while this battle is happening. God seeker just watches
That’s what she does best
This thing was probably the most difficult boss I faced in gaming. The only one as difficult was probably Fatalis.
Wait this isn’t the tutorial on how to beat the Empress of Light.
Nope
Ngl I was hoping it would give you the cutscene of ripping it’s face open and tearing it apart
You deserve it for beating this thing
Still easier than primal aspid
😂😂😂so true😂😂😂
These Godseekers are deluded man. ''You've just beaten the most broken enemy in the game while every attack would oneshot you. I bet you can't defeat it again while it doesn't oneshot you''..... what?
I think they meant they thought you can't defeat her in the Pantheon of Hallownest, which is probably as hard as beating just Radiant AbsRad if not more.
@@Dinoman972 in the pantheon she's only on the "attuned" difficulty so it's a lot easier
@@niket1234L5W0A2 The fight itself may be easier, but you still have to beat every boss in the game on a row beforehand.
Plus, aren't all Pantheon of Hallownest bosses on Ascended difficulty? They don't deal double damage and retain their health, but they still have their Ascended mode gimmicks like the Gruz Mother's spikes and the Collector's Primal Aspids.
Dinoman972 Nah, rad AR is definitely harder than p5
@@Dinoman972 you get many breaks to heal up though. Abs rad is harder for me than the rest of the pantheon cause I can already beat the rest of the bosses
The satisfaction I got from doing this was insane, but it still was hell
finally beat it, but my vocal cords are now destroyed and I have had adrenaline going through my veins for the past hour.
Congrats!
thx
I don’t get scared easy, and that was terrifying
A man who has nothing to lose and nothing more to do
*has the choice of fighting the hollow knight and getting the easy ending*
“Maybe I’ll go for the absolute radiance ending instead”
Cherry team: “so you have chosen death”
At the start where the knight is looking down I could only think of “I gazed into the void and the void gazed back”
I love the fact that The Radiance is the reason why moths love light and will always fly towards it like mindless idiots.
I play so hectic that I get hit way too often. this guy was just pure chill
Wow, so radiant and glimmering!
This right here is enough for me to decide I don't want to play this anymore. I'm having enough frustration with the Crystal Guardian and I struggled with the Mantis Lords. This looks like a fat pile of bullshit RNG. I'm totally good. Thank you for having this up so I can see I should just quit now.
after just beating the pantheon of hallownest after 20 solid hours over 3 days of practice, 2 of which were spent trying to learn AR, this individual's power terrifies me
Congrats on beating the Pantheon of Hallownest!
I haven't even reached the Absolute Radiance yet, or any of the Radiance levels, i'm no where near good enough yet and i really try to avoid researching patterns etc.
This game will be a long term challenge.... this game is so smooth to play and has such insane levels of challenge from the early game towards the end, the art is beautiful too.
Having such an insanely hard final boss seemed disappointing to me for a while because i might never be able to get there, but after a while it seems fitting to have a TRUE challenge at the end of such a great game.
The challenge is there for you, if you REALLY want to test yourself, but it IS possible. I like it.
this boi is a wyrm now
You make it look so easy it’s incredible
