FYI. if you play past ante 8. around ante 10/11 you can get the observatory and pivot from cryptids to plutos and go permanent infinite if you keep perkeo.
@@1unar_eclipsepretty sure plutos stack on each other, cryptids are a one time use and go above the hand size. after the one round you would need the same amount of cryptids to be built up again to survive.
Could you imagine you and your buddies are about to play poker, and one of your buddies shows up late. Bags under his eyes. Ragged clothes. Disheveled hair. The poor guy hasnt shaved in months it looks like. He shows up with an odd aura of determination. You're about to deal everyone their cards but the man says, "No, I brought my own." He pulls out a deck with... 23 cards? He also brought a bunch of weird cards but you think maybe its a bit or something... Everyone grabs their hand and plays. An Ace high. A pair of 10s. Three of a kind. You play a Full House. But your buddy... Before playing his hand, he plays 45 copies of Cryptid and duplicates his Red Seal Steel King of Clubs, plays his Lucky Purple Seal 10 of Spades. After 5 minutes everyones cards explode as does your apartment, your street, your state, and your side of the hemisphere.
It's around 1e308. 1e308 is the largest value that can be stored as a double precision floating point variable in 64-bit computing, and it's generally considered to be the hard limit of how large a number can be stored in most programming languages without using additional libraries or non-standard number implementations. (i copied all of this)
@brandonmontealvo5315 the objective of the video wasn't to win, but rather hit naneinf before ante 8. Even then, selling 4 fingers and the other joker is okay, they don't serve the build at all. If your response was ironic, also was mine 🗿
four fingers (easier flushes and straights) did nothing for high card, scary face wouldnt give chips since he played a 10 and not a face card, and yeah also amber acorn
A small nitpick I have is that, strictly speaking, you probably didn't reach the "integer limit". From what I remember from some other videos naneinf happens when you reach 10^300 and to store a number that big as an integer (whole number), you'd need something like a 1000 bits, while if you store it as a decimal number, you can store numbers up to around 10^308 within 64 bits at yhe cost of some precision (look into ieee 754 (a standard for storing decimals) if you want to know more). I don't know how the game is coded but I think the second option is more likely, meaning you technically didn't reach the integer limit (though I guess whenever a number is too large for a game to handle it gets called the "integer limit" so it's not really your fault). It's still an impressive achievement though, and a nitpick about the title of the video shouldn't discredit it! Edit: After looking into it a little more, it turns out you need 10^308 score, not 300, which is further evidence of the score being stored as a decimal.
i dont understand how youre saying this is "still impressive". the maximum value of a 128 bit integer is roughly 10^39, vastly smaller than the max float value...
whenever i go back to main menu it is to redo something I messed up. leaving doesn't reset your rng, everything is already decided. No matter how many times you go to main menu the same thing happens every time.

The seed was changed after the update, you don't get perkeo anymore with the soul
the amber acorn watching as the 100 steel red seal kings in your hand trigger 1 after the other (it asked you to beat a score of 100,000):
FYI. if you play past ante 8. around ante 10/11 you can get the observatory and pivot from cryptids to plutos and go permanent infinite if you keep perkeo.
In that case, wouldn't it be better to just keep the Cryptids? Or is that just for the sake of getting naneinf at ante 8 and 39

@@umm...857 Yeah, but Cryptids give more score per card because of all the modifiers on the Kings
@1unar_eclipse you will run out of cryptid creation before you get to 39. You'll start using more than you're generating vs pluto only gets stronger

they won by at least four points

Me near the end of the video: ...why not use steel kings...what's going on?
Me a few minutes later: OHHHHHHHHKAY
this run: "We're going to need MONEY! And lots of it!"
and of course the final card hits the lucky $20
huge achievement congrats!!
5e355 or something idk
You could have hit e356 if your lucky card had just gotten +20 mult instead of +$20 RIP smh my head
Damn, better run it back and try again
I was so depressed from the absent of the music I had to manually add the music from another window
that was completely absurd
I tried it after the update and I got Triboulet instead of Perkeo 😭😭
that's what i call suffering from success
bro ur hand is going super sayian watch out
Your immolation privileges have been revoked
highlights for those who dont have sponsorblock: 43:19, 47:16, 47:50
:)
Impressive
You can return to main menu to get your hand refilled after using hanged man?? How did I not know this!
no, it just goes back to where you were before you used it. it only saves after you play your hand so it wont save you using hangedman
It's like an undo
amazing, nice work :)
Truly amazing! I'm trying to figure out how high Balatro can calculate numbers. Oddly, I couldn't find this info online.
Look into the limitations of Lua and Love2D perhaps

I’m new to Balatro why did they sell two negative jokers at 37:26
because it would be harder to find the important shuffled cards
But he was going win anyways?

I follow your seeded run exactly and always get triboulet....why is that.
the seed was changed after the alst update so it doesn't work anymore
This is insane
You could have done it a couple rounds earlier right? Seems like you had a few extra kings
I actually was able to get it down to ante 7 though I didn't record that run

Music?
Im so confused, whats going on with the immolate stuff and main menu reseting?
i immolated to remove cards so that i can get the cards i want more often, and whenever i screwed up i went to menu to reload the last save

It's the integer limit for balatro... Which is the game being played.
the game is made in lua which doesnt differentiate between ints and floats so im pretty sure everything is stored as a float
Embarrassing
Lua stores everything as float.

This is seeded right?
not an integer limit but yes
