It is my dear hope that as members of this band retire or “retire” other fine and friendly musicians step into place to keep these Feats from failing. The world is a better place while this music continues on.
Better late than never, '74 here, I've seen them ?? in concert s from the Jazz Festival to a low down Municipal Auditorium and on, they're Phenomenal, jűs sāyīn !😎✌️😎!
I can't express how happy this latest chapter of Feat history makes me feel. A fan for over 50 years. Have been to dozens of concerts with every iteration the band has had and they remain my favorite. This release only enhances my fandom. WOW SAM, BILL, FRED, KENNY, SCOTT, TONY!!!
Greetings from UK.Love the description 'Fatman in the Bathtub'.I saw them at the Rainbow London in the 70's what a band!.This new album sounds like it will be fantastic.Cheers Jim.
It is a cult record that went mainstream for a while, and you are right, it is the best live LP even if not the biggest seller. Eric Clapton sold 26 million Unplugged and Frampton Live sold plenty , but Waiting for Columbus is better than those even.
@@kevinjudge8602 yes it should be the rock standard. 1. performance is perfection, better than the studio cuts by far and much more exciting live 2. recording is flawless, says plenty for tape machines and analog tech, its perfection also. 3. captures a sense of time and place like no other recording i have ever heard. , the peak of power rock/funk. on a par with song remains the same. 4. never gets old.
The addition of Scott Sherrard ( Gregg Allmans guitarist ) has definitely rejuvenated this lineup. His slide playing is eerily reminiscent of Lowell George. Saw them in Atlantic City in February opening for Tedeschi Trucks and they sounded great. Looking forward to new album
I’m 38 now and still have my copy of Bass Player magazine with Kenny from 95, hopefully will get to re-interact, this new video brings the groove sauce fellas!!!!
Absolutely phenomenal song. Great bluesy groove! Fantastic vocals! Can't wait to see this live when you roll back into Nola. Laissez les bon temps rouler.
Great rendition of what I believe was Muddy Waters’ first big hit. I hate to have to say though but for me the very best rendition of this old number was done by the Rolling Stones on their second U.K. album. It was really the first time I’d heard slide guitar played on any record and I still think Brian Jones absolutely killed this. Don’t want to offend any blues purists, this was a 16 year old Lancashire lad’s very first record I ever bought and my introduction to what was called at the time Rhythm n Blues, it started a lifetime love of the genre and, yes, I have a Little Feat album in my collection.
Like a fine bourbon. Just gets more refined and defined with age. If you're not tappin your feet n snappin yer fingers, yer soul is cold. Love this stuff it never grows old.
Saw them several times back in the early-mid '70s in Little Rock at the old Barton Coliseum! They were packaged as a Southern band along with the likes of Marshall Tucker and Charlie Daniels Band. Fred Tackett is from Little Rock.
Weekend is here fans, time for sharing good vibes & paaaarty, let them web technologies work for you guys & connect people for those who need to become your supporters from now on, go champs go for it ❤🎉❤
The unmistakable sound of the Feat always puts a smile on my face. Been a fan for 50+ years.
Bill, Kenny, Sam and Fred too are the soul survivors, still bringing it. Happy to see them having fun playing together.
Real music with real musicians playing. Feats never fail me now.
Still as good as ever. Lowell George would be very proud.
I just sanded my hardwood floors with Sam's vocals...
Seemed effortless, and somehow it comes out smooth as silk

Been listenin' to the Feats since '74, that would be 1974. And the Feats still got it in 2024!
I was late to the party.....May 1975 here.
I was even later. Lol. My husband turned me on to Feat in the late 90’s. Been to quite a few concerts since. 1 of my top 3 favorite bands ever!!!

...yepp,me too
❤ I have been listening to them since the seventies as well.
This is the coolest music you will ever encounter feel lucky you live in this time , just sayin people❤
RIP Richie, Paul, Lowell. ✝️ God bless the rest! 🎸
That is one serious old-school blues voice right there.
Who is he.. Killer Vocalist
@@garyschneider8829 Sam Clayton, the percussionist and sometimes vocalist since 1972 I think.
Always has been.
THATS KEEPIN THE BLUES ALIVE! Billy, Kenny, Sammy, Freddy, Scott, and last but certainly not least Tony JOE B BLUES CRUISE ANYONE?!!!!
Absolutely yes but for me it’s Kenny!!!! BASS!
I love Little Feat!! Saw them in ‘77 in DC
Lowell would be proud of the guys on this one.
I love Little Feat but no one does this Classic Blues tune like Gregg Allman just ask Scott! 💙
I've been listening to little feat since there first album in 1971 that's 54 years and there STILL going strong.
I love Little Feat. They did this song justice. Muddy would be proud!!
Feats, don't fail me now. ✌️

Hell yeah, little feat has never failed me!!!!
Love hearing Sam Clayton!
Woah - new Little Feat! Waiting For Columbus is still one of my all time favourite albums - and is arguably the best live album of all time!
I played it so much that I could recognize it by the sound of the crowd before the music started.
It is a cult record that went mainstream for a while, and you are right, it is the best live LP even if not the biggest seller. Eric Clapton sold 26 million Unplugged and Frampton Live sold plenty , but Waiting for Columbus is better than those even.
Waiting for Columbus is the live album upon which all live albums must be measured. I MISS LOWELL GEORGE! But still love the Feat.

Sounding great. Hope you guys come to the UK. Much love and peace to you.
Listened to Waiting for Columbus last night and saw the original lineup in the 70’s in concert at a movie theater converted to a concert hall.

What does your age have to do with it?
@@zummo61perhaps some of us enjoyed them live back in the day? I sure did- 63
@@doricetimko5403 well. I’m 64 and saw them in 77 and 92, then opening for the Dead.
