Chigg, I would love to run some of those flat buttons through electrolysis for a minute of two. I have seen a guy do it and you would swear it's flat and a pattern appears. Worn and stuff, but you van make something out.

When you dug the little pointy thing I immediately thought that was off the top of a small metal fence. Like the ones that you see in older cemetery's. I think you might have been on top of a grave. 😮
I really like the addition of the text explaining what the items are during the photo montage at the end! On a random note, I've always wondered what the permission agreements are like with property owners when it comes to finds. Do Chigg and friends get to keep everything they find, no matter what it is? What happens if they find something truly valuable like a cache of gold coins, a diamond ring or a treasure chest of valuables and the owner says "hey, you found it but it's on my property so it belongs to me"?
Permissions vary. Usually it's keep what you find or go to the next place, but I do make exceptions for special properties where I feel it's good the let the artifacts stay with the property. I have a series coming up like that.

The piece of copper pipe as you called it. The pattern kind of reminds me of the pieces of pipe on the old wind chimes. Your modern bullets made me wonder if youhave ever been asked to help in an investigation? Just random thought. Lastly think it's time maybe you should design a Chigg's Army metal detectors vest. @aquachigger you do not need to be proslavery to be states rights. Separate North American nations has nothing to do with being allies in WWII . We allied with Canada and England, both former enemies. .......You were correct with stinkin' Lincoln.

Hey chig, I’m just getting into detecting and I bought a vanquish 540, hoping I made a good choice for starting out.
