Aluminum track jack. Used to have to carry one in each hand and line a side of rail. They were made aluminum to lighten the load. Was a such a relief when my team got em. Nice vid. Be safe Chig
My GF asked how does Chig knows if the bullet is Union or Confederate. 😮 Well Honey, you see, if the bullet is pointing North, Johnny Reb fired it. If on the other hand, if the bullet is pointing South, a Union soldier fired it for sure. 🎉
That first iron item that you found right after the turkey was a railroad coupler. The way it was broken was from strain , maybe while double heading. It is a very old one, because it's split to allow a link and pin coupler to be coupled to it. Pretty neat!
Thanks for bringing us with you Chigg!!! My wife sings the Aquachigger hymn throughout the day..lol….Hate to tell you but Bobbie Wobbs and Fiona are the stars of the show…!!!!!
I like it when you’re detecting with Mike. He’s is no longer a Padawan. He’s knowledge with common sense, and can haul you out if you get bit by a rabbid black mamba rattle moccasins.
Will Mike ever trust you again? LOL! You still have to pull his chain when you get an opportunity. It's always fun to watch you two. I'm no longer amazed when you identify farm equipment as you are an encyclopedia. Who needs google when we've got Beau. Gonna start calling you the Chigglopedia. As always, another adventure that i appreciate your sharing.
Good morning chigg from England, what a interesting video, the cargo on the troll train had a very popular container on back from a place in Norfolk in England MAERSR LINE also the sink hole looks very interesting ,the jack did look like cast aluminium so it would be easy to break, what a beautiful pig troft in the woods ,its amazing the interesting what you can find in these ancient woods ,I used to work in a saw mill and the amount of bullets and washing line holders we used to cut up when inbedded into the tree used to take the diamond tips of the saw ,that's fantastic that you both got fragments and bullets from the civil war ,thanks again take care ,,🇬🇧
Hello Chigg, the jack you found, Iam pretty sure is aluminum railroad jack. My dad was a big collector of railroad items and had several jacks like that. 👍
Thanks Chigg for taking us along on another adventure. Love the Civil War items and possible indian artifact. Grew up playing around old railroad tracks, always cool finds around the tracks
22:04 - there should be a fossil in there. You may want to split it to see what's inside :))) EDIT: a UA-camr by the name of Yorkshire Fossils finds these types of 'stones' all of the time. When he splits them, there is usually an ammonite in it (curly type of shell)
Love it! I love findind civil war relics,i have a permission in the Shiloh battlefeild area, and I've found some things, your videos help me to know what to look for and the identity of bullet calibers. Good hunting sir, and thank you.
When you dig those civil war bullets that have been used by both the north and south, there is a way to tell which side used it. When you dig it and it is pointing north, it was used by the south, and if it was pointing south, it was used by the north. Obviously.
That rock is a grinding stone people pecked the edges so that it wouldn't slip while they were grinding grain. That rock has polished surfaces. Some women would have used that making flour.
first i wanted to say did they put that tunnel there so animals could cross underneath without getting hit by the train and also isnt there a law about if its railroad related items u cant take the item if its next to the tracks
17:32 over your right shoulder in that tree is civil war artillery you can see where it hit the tree the round hole….. and the tree almost broke that’s why it’s leaning…. Or is it?….. back to the vid…
Chigg I’ve noticed that you breathe awful hard when you barely walk much sometimes. That’s the way I done before my triple bypass surgery November before last
randlerichardson5826 I don't think many people 1/2 my age could keep up with me. I don't saunter and am healthy as a freaking horse according to my Doc.

Good chance that there is a prehistoric crab inside that rounded rock.
I second this. That rock absolutely looks like similar fossils I've seen. Tell him to crack it open chigg.
I like Mike's rock, yes, it does look like a hammerstone and the barbed wire is definitely a keeper.
